I stayed 4 nights at this hotel, luckily I was on the first floor because this hotel does not have an elevator, my mother and sister were not so lucky my mom had to crash in my room because she cannot go up stairs. I had a non-smoking room but this hotel has smoking rooms so the hallways sometimes smells of smoke. The complimentary breakfast was constantly […] being restock which is good. Perhaps a little overpriced...still one of the better super 8s I've stayed at. The bed was comfortable. I was surprised to find a mini fridge in the room. The night staff were very friendly. The water pressure was absolutely awful. awwwful. woeful. It was more like a misting. I'm not even kidding. I've stayed at a hotel in ohio before (also a super […] 8 - not as nice as this one) and the water pressure was slightly better but still not that great. I don't know if it's an ohio thing or a super 8 thing. The breakfast was slightly better than most low end hotels...they have a waffle maker which was better than the standard cold bagel and muffin. Just off Exit 152 of I-70. Classic Super 8 motel. Well maintained, clean and comfortable. Fast food at this exit, many other choices convenient 5 min. drive east on I-70. Good overnight stop enroute.

I booked this hotel for a weekend and was very pleased. The room was very clean. The continental breakfast was clean, well organized, and well stocked. The desk manager was friendly and gave us restaurant suggestions. It is a great hotel!!

Clean, comfortable, warm (there was freezing rain outside), with TV & working Internet and a pleasant staff. Want more? Hot coffee and bake-it-yourself waffles free for breakfast, after a hot shower. Seconds from the Interstate, on and off. Only downside - real sitdown restaurants are about a ten-minute drive away. (I went to the A&W.)

We usually find that Super 8 motels are pretty consistent in quality and service, and this one is no exception. There were a couple of issues though, which we did address with the manager upon leaving: the carpet in our room had not been adequately cleaned. It is ok for one night stay. You get what you pay for. They charge you extra for using a safe. They have some rooms that are partially in the basement so don’t be surprised if they tell you that you have to go “downstairs” to get to your room. However, overall it is OK for one night …if you are not picky.

Good - The staff was friendly and provided information to local restaurants / ATM / stores. Easy to access from either direction. The staff did step outside to smoke as courtesy to non-smoking guests. Bad - Was bumped to a smoking room and it was very smelly. Our car broke down at this exit, so it was conveniently located for us since there were no other hotels around. However, you get what you pay for. The airconditioner was missing part of the grate that protects the fan. Comforters did not appear to be very clean. Hotel appeared to be in need of some renovations and updates.

The rooms we stayed in were clean and beds were comfy. Walls seemed thin, resulting in some annoying hallway and parking lot noise, but after 11PM things quieted down. Overall a decent place to stay for the price.

This hotel has two floors, but no elevator. Both of us have difficulty with steps. When I called the hotel to verify accessibility, I was told that they would do their best to give us the first floor. They didn't say that even with the first floor, there would be steps if we parked in the rear which is where our rooms were located. It was only for the […] night so we managed. If you have difficulty with walking or steps & plan a few nights in this town, look elsewhere. They don't have luggage carriers so you have to carry everything. Breakfast was satisfactory, but if you're short, you'll have a problem. The refrigerator is on the countertop. They do have make your own waffles & fresh fruit & refrigerated cups of cut fruit & yogurt (if you can see & reach them). There is also a variety of pastry & breads & cereal so you can find something to get you started. If that doesn't suit you, McDonalds is across the street. Gas is also nearby. There are some 'chain' restaurants in the town. A local favorite that was recommended is really an ice cream & sandwich place. We ordered steak, prime rib & fish & we were not happy with the meals. (Nichols is the name) We should have gone to a chain. This hotel has a washer & dryer for guests located near the checkin area. If you need to use this hotel & are handicapped, ask for a first floor room near the checkin area & park in front. There is a ramp in the front of the building to the rooms. First floor rooms are not on the same level as the entrance & checkin. They are three steps down & there is no ramp if you come in the rear door. Read more

The accomodations met my expectations for a budget hotel/room. of course, not as good as a 4-5 star hotel. But it was as good as most other budget places. Had to roll my eyes that my small dog found a chicken nugget in the small space between the night stand and wall. Easy to overlook by room service, but my chihuahua found it.
