The hotel was located close to where we needed to be, and walking distance to shopping and resturants. The hotel it self was ok. Clean, but the door to our room was not functioning propely. The hot tub needs resurficing. For 50.00 a night it was nice. I would have not wanted to spend anymore then that on this hotel tho.

The staff was nice but the hotel was not. They said they offered hot breakfast and they didn't. The rooms smelled funny and half the appliance didn't work. The only good thing about this hotel was the location.

I did not enjoy my stay at the Baymont. I had a hard time understanding the person at the Front Desk. There was a bug on my pillow when I came into the room, but they gave me a new room. I was generally quite satisfied, however people closing/slamming their doors at one and two in the morning wasn't restful. Perhaps a bit of insulative padding on the door jambs or pneumatic closers would help this. To get into the hotel was very difficult. Doors didn't open automatic. I had to struggle with my luggage. The smell was really bad. The reason for that was the pool right next to the entrance. Room was clean except the corners. When I left, the person at the counter was very unkept. I was very glad to get out of there.

The staff was great! The room was clean, however with two queen beds it was tight for two people to get around in it. However, all the necessities were there. The tub and toilet were very clean. The beds were comfortable. We didn't eat breakfast, however they did have a variety of cereals. They provided waffles too, coffee, apple and orange juice.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the gentlemen working at the front desk.He is very good and worked very hard each time I was in the lobby.Usually your welcomed, informed of your room # or location & directions to the elevators.The oriental women working there spoke once.She asked for my credit card,placed the keys on the counter & stared […] at the computer monitor.Hotel must of tested the sprinkler system.Water damage on all walls,doors & carpet on the 2nd floor. Room smelt & felt wet,bathroom had used towels,kleenex box was empty & garmet rack was falling. I requested another room on the bottom floor, it was better.Still visible water damage but better & was clean with no soiled/stained towels. No fridge.Pool towel was the size of hand towels & the pool felt more like a large sauna room in a garage. Fitness room was in the same room as the pool,sauna & jacuzzi.The entrance to the lobby is a side door. Grounds need some TLC big time.Everything is died or dying.Grant it,the area is struggling. Many of the business are closed but Baymont can do better.Oh & the advertised free "hot" breakfast..NOT only thing hot was coffee & waffles. Thank goodness there is Waffle House next door. Should charge only $60 a night max. This place is a dump! Do not stay here. As soon as you walk in there is a terrible odor at the front door. The hotel clearly has not been cleaned since it was opened, filthy floors in the hallways and in the room. I was afraid to take my shoes off. The decor is in desperate need of updating. The toilet didn't flush well and the iron was horrible. It […] had build up on the iron that left burn stains on my clothing which turned into a hole. We booked a king bed non-smoking room for one night. The room has a fridge which we didn't know about. Our room & bathroom were clean. Sheets were clean too. There was a smell according to my husband but I didn't smell it & it didn't seem to bother him. It must not be unpleasant to him. There is cable TV (Disney, Nick, PBS, etc). Pool was clean & plenty […] of towels at the pool. My son even made a friend at the pool. Many restaurants within 1-2 miles of the hotel. Target is behind the hotel. Harassed by the staff over a dog in my car! Mind you I made plans for the dog at another location to be cares for, and got harassed for having it in the parking lot! The staff proceeded to place rude signs on the doors about their animal policies. And I was a” good” reoccurring customer.

This hotel was fine for a quick overnight trip. Room was clean - the heater chirped like a bird but luckily I didn't need it. Originally given a room right next to the pool which was too loud and the clerk was very understanding and moved me right away to a different room. Breakfast was a bit boring but overall the hotel was worth the money spent.

This hotel was just NASTY!!!! My bathtub was black with what appeared to be attempts at cleaning it. There was trash along the frame of the bed from the previous occupant. Behind the bathroom door there was long brown hairs and my hair is only 3 inches and black. This was not our final destination and booked it about 30 minutes before we arrived. They had the reservation ready and the room was clean, (bathtub/shower questionable) bed was fine and linens crisp & clean. We had a king room and there wasn't much room to walk around the bed, but for the money and quick overnight, it was fine.
