      Everything about this resort is excellent! The room was perfect and all the staff was friendly and warm. Close to attractions but there are things to do at the resort. I have nothing bad to say about this resort. I would definitely stay there again.

      Good location, just off the interstate; close to restaurants, very nice room; very accommodating for our dog wiuth a first floor room close to a hotel exit so the dog could be exercised very easily.

    We were not able to see what type of room we were to get prior, so we had to take what we could. We needed two full/queen beds instead of one king. The room as not very clean and the hotel had a musty smell to it. Everything was very old and not dusted. The breakfast had stale bagels and not much else.     The only thing that was OK was the bed. Full King with a descent mattress. Did not clean the room.......Only made the bed and left clean towels. When flusing the toilet; water looked like sewer water. Will not stay there again. Continental breakfast was bad.

    I was a little worried about staying here because of all the bad reviews, but overall I am glad we chose this hotel over the Baymont. We came into town to visit my sister and leave the next morning. This hotel was perfect to do just that at a cheap price. Now if you are coming for the hotel experience and not using this hotel as just a place to sleep […] that night, I would not recommend it. It was pretty minimal in every aspect. There is no pool, it is pretty far out of town and the free breakfast was just a bowl of fruit. But as I said I would stay here again because it is half the price of the Baymont and I'd just be using at a place to rest my head. Read more

    I would not stay at Americas Best Value Inn & Suites 917 E Milwaukee St again. The gal at the front desk was far from courteous. The hotel's condition was old. The hall and room carpeting did not appear to be vacuumed. The walls were paper thin. Between the noice in the hallway all night, and the noice from the room next to us, we got little sleep. […] The shampoo bottle from the previous guest was left in the shower.     People have given this place some pretty bad reviews. My sheets and towels were both clean. The service was immediate and great. The rooms were quiet. They had HBO, and a couple other channels. The woman was able to recommend me a place to eat. I was only 2 miles from the campus. For how much it costs, its definitely worth staying there.

    This is bare bones, but the lobby had been updated a little and the continental breakfast was nice. The room was very clean, but the mattresses desperately need to be replaced. The bathroom floor tile was a little grungy.

    I would not recommend this hotel. The rooms, beds and bedding were old. The room was not very clean. There was dirt along the edges of the carpet. Some of the carpets were torn. Our room also smelled. The remote control and the alarm clock did not work.

    The room was not clean upon arrival. Garbage was still in the trash can. The room smelled awful from cigarette smoke (I assume). The wireless internet did not work. The young man at the front desk was excellent.

    The service was slow. The hotel was old and dirty. The worst was when the cover sheet was pulled back and the fitted sheets had stains and pillows did not have covers and stained. Beds had crumps. Carpet smelled! This is the first time in all my years of traveling that I was very disappointed with my hotel accommodations.
