This is the first time we've stayed at a B&B, so we didn't know what to expect. It was in the perfect location because we were going snowboarding the next day at Mountain Creek. The host were very nice. The rooms are close together so we felt forced to be quiet (wouldn't recommend this for a "romantic" getaway). Breakfast in the morning was tasty! Beautiful elevated deck in the back. Nothing to do in the town at night.

I was quite impressed with the upbeat attitude and the willingness of the entire staff to answer any questions and provide immediate service. I noticed that this location had received Quality Inn's Platinum award, and I was not surprised at all. I would come back just to experience the great hospitality! Thank You!

The Bear Mountain Overlook Lodge was a very rustic hotel which I would return to again. The Hotel itself was clean, however the walls are a little thin. If someone is talking loudly in the next room, you can hear them. Other than that the room was clean, with a kitchenette and satellite TV.The Bear Mountain Zoo was small, but fun to walk through. The hiking was spectacular and is the real reason to come to Bear Mountain.

Convenient, clean with large rooms and plenty of parking. Restaurants and shopping near-by. Staff was very friendly. There are a few spots where the carpets in the hallways were ripped/coming up but it is, after all, a budget motel. I have been there before for a stop-over. Will probibly continue to do so.

Very disappointed. Non-smoking room smelled like smoking room. Could not change even though I asked for a change. No more non-smoking rooms. Not Clean. Needed maintenance.

Hotel staff were helpful but the. State of my room was barely adequate . The room was never vacuumed. During my 4 night stay. Bathroom had mold in it. The 2nd room had a large staple in the rug it. Lucky for me I found it 1st.

Room was large, clean and comfortable. However, the walls were thin. I could hear conversations in the next room and people walking in the room over mine. No spoons in the breakfast room when I was there so I ate my cereal with a fork and drank the milk from the bowl, a first for me. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay and would stay there again.

Hotel is easy to get to location is great close to shops, and other attractions.Mall is located directly acrosss from the hotel. Easy access to highways. The only thing thats needed in all rooms is an ironing board and iron, also a luggage stand. Otherwise is it a good place to stay

The guy at the front desk is awesome! My wife and I stay here weekends during August and September for the Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo. It's to the point now where all I have to do is walk in and he grabs my slip. Love it!

A decent stay at a decent price. It was pretty much what I expected. My only real complaint was a very dirty carpet in my hotel room (everything else was pretty clean) and even though I stayed in a non-smoking room, the entire hotel smells like smoking.

Great location. In the middle of everything and close to all shopping and the highway. The continental breakfast was just muffins and coffee, but better than nothing. Maid service was quite lacking though. Of all the hotels in the area, this is the one to stay at for price and location.

The stay was fine, although the loitering outside the hotel could be avoided Especially by the entrances to the section of the hotel people were using that led to the rooms. The upkeep of the hotel on the outside needed repair and attention.Other than that it was ok.

The room is clean, and quiet. I would of liked it if they had an ironing bored and iron in the room besides the refrigerator and microwave.I would defiately stay there again. It was convient to all locations that I needed to be at.

Room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast OK. Easy location for many restaurants and highway. Third time was a charm to get room entry card to work, but that was a small inconvenience. Personnel very polite. Overall would use this facility again as an overnight in route to destination.

I have stayed at several Super 8 Motels in the Western part of the US and experience modest, clean accommodation. I can not say the same about this one. The room smelled like a stinky old man had been living in the room for a month, or possibly had died there. Something as basic as cleaning the carpet would go a LOOONNNGGG way to help this establishment. […] After half a bottle of freebrez and the window open the place became a little tolerable. I think this was a motel issue since the maids frequently left the doors open to rooms after cleaning and the windows partially open. Besides the carpet, the room was clean, bed comfortable and over all a quite motel. With in a mile of any kind of shopping you would want, across the street from grocery store, places to eat, easy access to freeway, it was a good location as a home base for regional exploration. Close to where I needed to be. Could of been cleaner, Not all electrical outlets worked in room. It was okay for the price you pay, it could of been better.

Wonderful stay. Friendly staff at check in and check out. The bed was very comfortable. We weren't expecting the microwave and refrigerator. That was a plus. Also a safe was in the room. Adequate parking for both cars.

For the price this was a nice motel, the staff were friendly and the room had a microwave, fridge, and internet. The room was clean, would have liked a pool but can't have everything for the price.
