I was able to sleep, Got what I need. Would be much better if they cleaned it, It wasn't good feeling to see hair on the sink, bathroom floor, little piece of garbage here and there on the floor.

It was a bed to sleep in. I would get random cold bursts of water during my shower. Room doors don`t close quietly so as people are getting up in the morning you get woke up by doors slamming. The "deluxe" breakfast was eggo toaster waffles. But it was a bed to sleep in.

We liked it very much - It was quiet as the hotel wasn't full I believe- I can see were it could be Louder/noisier if it was fuller. Only item that was a problem was the continental breakfast, didn't have items full - missing yogurt, eggs, didn't have alot of cereal either

Great hotel if you're looking for basic accommodations and friendly staff. Very roomy rooms. We did not feel at all cramped with 3 people. Wonderful value . Very quiet.

This hotel is close to our son and his family's house. It is comfortable, clean and inexpensive. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right across from a Perkins and is located within a few minutes from Duluth attractions. We would definitely stay there again!

Got a non smoking room, but that was not true. The room smelled like someone just smoked a pack in the place. They did have an air ionizer set up but still did not get rid of the smoke smell. Beds were hard as a rock. Never again.

It was awful! Smells like smoke and air freshener - I had to dry-clean all my clothes after I left. The staff at the desk was not friendly. It's creepy and dark and unprofessional.

The room was adequate for the price, clean with good maintenance. The problem was the bed, too soft and the pillows were very skinny! I believe most people, like me, prefer a firm mattress and a fluffy but sibstancial pillow. We did not sleep well that night. Thanks

For a budget hotel it was good. Staff was really nice and very accomodating. Super easy to find right next to the interstate and a short drive to downtown. Restaurant right next door and also gas station across the street. I guess since there is nowhere on earth where I smell cigarette smoke anymore, the smell of this place overwhelmed me!! I opened the windows and had the air on high to try and freshen it up a little but still made my head spin and my stomach ache... I would not recommend this hotel. It certainly needs improvement. The entrance was far from inviting. The halls had an strong odor and were in need of updating. The rooms also needed work done.

The staff was friendly for the most part. Our room was very basic and a knob was missing from the air conditioner. Pillows were flat and there were no extra ones. Breakfast consisted of box donuts, two types of cereal and rubbery hard boiled eggs. The coffee was very good though

The clerk was having trouble checking me in. She could have been more professional. The mattress needs to be replaced, it was not very comfortable. Doors were opening and closing until late at night and early in the morning. While this sounds very negative - you get what you pay for - so don't expect a whole lot. Sorry.

This website does not have acurate booking information. When I booked for a room online, it showed 3 different rates. I booked for two queen beds and paid a higher rate for it but when I checked in and went to the room, it only had two double beds instead of two queen beds as stated online. This is not the hotel's fault, the construction made it hard to find at first and since their was nothing listed on their website that this was happening, I did not think to ask for alternate directions. When we got their our room was ready, but the lady behind the desk would not even stand up to greet us and sat the whole time. Their is no elevator […] so if you have alot of stuff see if you can get a 1st floor room. Also if you are wanting a pool their is not one at this hotel. The Super Start Breakfast is not the same as with other super 8's we have been to. Their is no saugae or eggs or even waffles to heat up as in other places, so if you want that for breakfast they are right next to a Perkins that can help you out. The one bright spot was the delivery options Hugo's. We Ordered from their and it was Delicious. Also I don't want to forget the Housekeeping Department is amazing, everything was clean, clean, clean. If I just wanted a place to lie my head for the night that alone would make me come back! Hotel was a great value!!! Rooms were very nice and clean. A plus was the small refridgerator in the room. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was very quiet, never heard any noise from the hall or rooms around or above. Overall I would recommend This hotel if you are trying to watch your money but still have a great time.

The price turned out to be $5 more than the online price at hotels.com "because taxes change all the time." The desk clerk did not accept that they had control of that. There was not enough outlets in the room. All outlets were taken by lamps and devices, so I had no place to plug in my computer. I was leery to book this hotel due to the low rating on hotels.com. I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the hotel was and how friendly the staff was. SUPER nice receptionists both in the evening and in the morning. I feel that the previous one star rating by other reviews were hyper-critical. Come on people, you know that you are not staying in […] a five-star hotel nor are you paying for one. You can't expect luxury when you don't pay for it.
