When I made the reservation I requested a cot for my daughter since we were unable to book a double room. When we arrived we were told the hotel doesn't reserve the cots and they didn't have any available. They had just gave the last one away. My stay was good. only one problem was the bathroom floor should of been mopped the floor felt sticky. I had to put a towel on the floor so that i could not feel the stickiness. that was the only problem I had. All the people that work at the super 8 were friendly.

Clerk was useless when I needed to find a local grocery, I was informed there was nothing near by, when there were a few within a mile or two. Upgraded me to a single bed room for no charge; key card didnt work on first room, so he sent me to a second new room which was a handicapped room. WiFi did not work and for a business trip it is unacceptable. Rooms were clean and maid came everyday. Breakfast was packeted pasteries and dry cereal. WiFi and a good breakfast is important and this place lacks.

I know I booked a non-smoking room, period. Yet for some reason I received a smoking room and the hotel was full and I was unable to switch as they were full. We were in town for a funeral and only needed a place to sleep so I wasn't looking for extras like a pool or hot tub. The room price was quite low so I decided to give it a try. We arrived late at night and, in the dark, the neighborhood looked a bit questionable. Once the sun came up, we realized it wasn't really that bad. While the hotel isn't fancy […] the rooms have been recently remodeled with vinyl flooring resembling hard wood, granite countertops, and pseudo down comforters. All the bed linens are white so you can tell if they are clean. The pillows were the most comfortable I've ever seen in a hotel and the mattress was softer than most. The room itself was very clean and housekeeping service was quick and thorough. The staff was very pleasant with a quick check in and out. For less than $50, I was very satisfied. The hotel also offers a free continental breakfast (cereal, juice, coffee, etc) but we didn't take advantage of it. For families on a budget, this could be an added plus. Would recommend this hotel definitely if you want a clean, comfy, no frills place to stay. Read more

The hotel is coveniently located just off the highway and was easy to find and get to. The price was good and check-in was a snap; even with us arriving later in the evening. Outside noise was surprisingly minimal given we were very close to an airport, in a room whose window faced in that direction. The one area we found really lacking and were dissapointed in was follow-through by the front desk. When we reserved the room, we specifically requested a few extra bath towels. Desite two seperate requests for them after arriving, and assurances both times that someone would bring them by momentarily, we never received them. In addition, we discovered the handle on the sink pops off when being used and the hairdryer holder was pulling out of the wall. While neither of these issues rendered the things unusable, we did want to report them and were told maintenance would be by later in the day to take care of them. Spent 4 days here on business. Can't understand negative reviews of this hotel. Hotel is clean, recently renovated, staff is friendly, location right on I65 near airport (though not particularly close to downtown). Writers complaining about the neighborhood are basically snobs. But rooms are newly renovated with Corian countertops, walll-mounted flat screen TV, laminated wood flooring -- bed, tastefully fitted with SPOTLESSLY CLEAN sheets and white comforter. Have personally paid three times as much for rooms that were no nicer than these. Free breakfast is basic -- toast, cinnamon buns, cereal, coffeee, juice, apples; no bagels -- but at least it's not coffee and stale donuts. My non-smoking room had no odors; staff was friendly without that forced "friendliness" you encounter sometimes. Did not find "thin walls" or noisy neighbors to be a problem at all (unlike other writers). Puzzled by people who want to pay Volkswagon prices and get Cadillac amenities. This is a good hotel.
