Room was outdated and light plug was broken off.. Room was dark, woke up one morning to find a worm on bathroom floor, towels were thin and worn. Staff member upon check in was very friendly but weekend staff didn't want to be bothered.

Our room didn't have any towels and less than a half a roll of toilet paper when we arrived. They did bring us towels but the second day we still had no toilet paper and our room still wasn't cleaned by 1:30 in the afternoon. The staff was very rude when we called the front desk about this. Our shower water wouldn't get above luke warm and when we questioned […] it we were told they had a hot water protector on it and that's as hot as it would get. Our family of 6 had a wonderful time in Pigeon Forge TN. Our hotel was nice, the staff was very accommodating and pleasant. We needed extra pillows and even though the hotel was booked and there weren't any available the first night, they were very apologetic and assured us there would be some available for us the next day. We found our room neatly […] remade and the extra pillows were there waiting for us! There were a couple things that were a little less than up to par. There were no garbage cans or linens for the pull out couch/bed, but they did fix it very quickly. The hotel elevator is in need of some maintenance with lots of squeaking when we got to the 3rd floor, but we generally used the stairs. The rooms and hotel in general needs a little face lift, but it did not hinder us at all. The rooms were neat, clean and functioning. The heat/AC worked great! The beds, well, they need updating/changing. They were quite squishy and if you sat on the edge you would slide and roll off to the floor. They provided soap and amenities for everything we needed because of our group size. All in all, this place was a terrific location! Right across the street from Dollywood Rd., behind Arby's, Burger King and Baskin & Robins, we really enjoyed the Trolly stop directly in front of the hotel on the main strip. The room was clean, the manager was very helpfull, the breakfast was okay, cereal , bagels, toast, orange juice, and they always had hot coffee. For the price it was good, Within 10 minutes of everything we wanted to see. It's kinda hard to get too, but we found out it was easier to cut through the parking lot of Long John Silvers and we were there. […] I would take my own pillow, the bed was good but the pillows were flat. First let me say that rarely have I slept in a hotel bed as comfortable as this one. My traveling companion shares the same sentiment about the comfortable bed. Our only negative experiences were that our heater didn't work very well and that we ran out of hot water very quickly. Even these small issues were not enough to damper our good time.

got smacked in the face with the smell of pine cleaning fluid when we opened the door . The bed was uncomfortable, could not get hot water, and the plumbing was very very noise as was the fan in the bathroom. the room seemed to be fairly clean. This place was pretty dumpy. It was not clean, and not kept up. There was a dirty overfilled trash can with a plastic lawn chair next to it. The chair sat there for 2 days, then a bag of trash sat in its place for the next 2 days. Bath tub had moldy caulking and some mold on shower curtain. Carpet & chair were stained. There were cob webs on one lamp […] going to the wall, & 2 lamp shades were ripped. Towels were clean, but stained & old, rough enough to be back scratchers. Bed was hard and uncomfortable - took tylenol each day for back pain after sleeping on it. Walls were dirty, and something resembling a spit ball was stuck to the wall behind the toilet. There was no alarm clock. Our room phone was not working. We reported it, they said they tried to fix it, but it still was bad, so we never received our wake up call the next morning. The continental breakfast consisted of donuts, bread and a toaster, corn flakes, instant oatmeal and orange juice made in a pitcher - no fruit, muffins, bagels, yogurt. Lobby area was very small-2 of 4 mornings had to eat in our room. Never saw a bar of soap so small and hard, and the remote did not work all of the time. Swimming pool was full of leaves. Elevator was dirty. We have stayed at motels that were much less expensive, but ALOT nicer. Gave us the impression they did not care about customers, only about making a profit by not putting any money into upkeep, repairs, or paying someone to clean. The housekeepers brought their young children to work and in the guest's rooms while cleaning. I inquired about this and the desk lady told me she would check into it. My bed was never made, other than when I made it. The bathroom was a disaster, smelled of urine and the mildew on the tub was disgusting, being on chemo, I was in the bathroom, alot, […] in front of the toilet, never with my knees on that floor :(. The bathtub was never cleaned, along with the sink and toilet. The last night we stayed, they left us no wash cloths or hand towels. I saved the apology note left by our housekeeper. The only problem we ran into was that the pool wasn't available for our kids to swim in the first two nights. The staff said it was being shocked so swimming wasn't permitted until the water/chemicals were correct.
