"The room smelled so bad I couldn:t sleep."
The hotel is in bad shape, the smell i couldn"t identify smelled like dead mice. The staff were friendly. but would rather stay in my car than this hotel again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good basic motel for the money"
The motel was easy to find and staff friendly and helpful. The room was small but adequate and clean. The continental breakfast was fine with coffee available all the time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"On the far edge of town, near the paper factory"
For the price, it was okay. I wish my room had a flat screen TV. For the length of stay, I would have figured they would have included a room with a flat screen. Breakfast could have used a little more variety, but for a continental it was decent. A few nights I didn't get fresh towels, but that was because I hung them up to dry. "a makeshift Days Inn, with no redeeming qualities"
I get to the hotel (hard to find, there was no signage except for a plastic banner hung low on the side of the building) and when I check in (after listening to the staff argue about who should take the garbage out) was given a tiny post-it with my number written on it. When I asked what it was, I was told that was my room number and that there were […] no keys. "What do mean, 'no keys?'" I ask. "Our key making machine is broken, and won't be returned to us until next week." "How do I get in and out of my room?". "Just come get us if you need back in your room." ?!? I should have canceled my reservation right then and there, but had been driving most of the day, and just wanted to relax. I get up to my unlocked room, and start settling in. I notice that the carpet does not look vacuumed. And to confirm it, soon find a candy bar wrapper next to the bed. Again, I tolerate this because now I'm almost settled in, and just want to relax. I look for the TV remote. no remote. Where is it? I search in every nook and cranny. no remote. *sigh* OK I'm just going to get in bed and read. pull the sheets back, and what do you know? the remote is inside the bedsheets!!!!!!!! They didn't change the sheets! And now that I'm looking at the sheets, I see hair on the pillow cases. Disgusting. I will never stay here again, and suggest that no one else should. Also - Days Inn should remove their name from this establishment. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Well, the wifi works"
Assuming you can find an outlet among the overloaded sockets in the walls, this hotel room does have wifi. That's about it. The price you pay for that wifi is an AC unit that wakes you up every 15 minutes and a bed that was made out of cardboard. Don't want the AC on? Enjoy the immediate Lewiston humidity at 80 degrees. "No problem" you say. "I'll just […] open a window." Now you can enjoy the sounds of semi-trucks and the smell from the pulp mill drifting over the river. We checked out a day early and stayed at a different place our last night so we could actually get some sleep. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The AC in the room didn't work and place was over booked so was stuck in the room. They forgot to leave the wash cloths in the bathroom. When trying to ask for some at the front desk lady running the desk wouldn't get off her cell phone. She got a little upset about me needing wash cloths and went off about not being able to contact the lady that was […] there cleaning rooms. Told me she would have some brought up to me room this was around 10pm. Well at 11:30 I went back to the front desk to see if I could just get some my self because I needed to get to sleep I needed to get up at 5:30am. She got all upset again and still on her cell phone and handed me something what looked to be torn up peaces of a old towel. They where all stained dirty looking must have been cleaning rags hard dark gray marks and what looked like coffee stains or something. She got them out from under the coffee machine by the front door. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"It's A Re-Branded, Re-Named Super8"
Despite the rather premium price for Lewiston, this is actually a budget motel plunked down in the middle of an industrial zone across the river from the city itself. Aside from a non-major gas station/convenience store, there is no shopping or dining in the vicinity. The spot, by the river and beside a park, could be very attractive but they really […] don't come into play; you really see only asphalt. Rooms were small, bed comfortable enough, smoke alarm nothing but bared wires in the ceiling, no chair for the desk. A/C worked well, however. Free breakfast is very basic, lacks any kind of fruits, juices, etc. Lots of free coffee that's good, however. From the money paid and the pics on the website, I was expecting something just a bit different from the reality. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great price. Nice frig, microwave."
Best deal in Lewiston, ultra friendly staff. New furniture, nice frig, microwave at no extra cost.Genuine Expedia guest review
I stayed at this 8 Days Inn while helping my son move into WSU, Pullman. While a bit of a drive from Pullman, Lewiston provided an entirely different arena for shopping needs - since many of the stores in Pullman had been raided by students. The hotel was comfortable, provided a decent morning breakfast and was maintained well. I would definitely stay […] there again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Just Passing Through"

"Only if you don't have a choice"
The floor had popcorn on it when we checked in. We didn't have popcorn at all on the trip. There was a sign in the bathroom that had been printed off stating that wash cloths and towels would be charged to the room if they were used to clean up a spill or used to remove makeup and if "rags" were needed to go to the front desk. There were long, dark […] hairs all over the floor in the bathroom and none of us have hair like that. Overall just a poorly maintained place. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Bare Bones Stay"
Very bare bones hotel. In a change over from a Super 8 I believe, so maybe better things are to come. Room did have fridge and microwave which was really nice and the a/c worked great as temps were near 100.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not bad, could have been a little better though"
The girl at the front desk was wonderful, very friendly, informative and great to talk too. The room was nice too, except for a couple problems. The shower had pretty low water pressure and dripped all night. Lol...there was a little note on the mirror asking that we come get rags from the front desk for taking off makeup instead of using the good towels, […] but one of our bath towels looked like it came out of the rag bin. Also, the fridge made a lot of rattling noise, so we turned it off. Otherwise, the place wasn't bad and I would probably use it again in a pinch. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Very Clean on a Budget!"
Appears that Day's Inn recently acquired this motel. Fresh paint and new furniture in our room, which was small, but very clean and comfortable with new bed, pillows, TV, furnishings. I wasn't expecting much for the VERY reasonable rate I got and was pleasantly surprised. The minute I opening our door, the room was very fresh and clean. No frills, but […] much better that most lodgings in this price range. There is an in room coffee make with coffee, tea varieties and hot cocoa. I noticed a set-up for a minimal breakfast near the check in, but we went a few blocks down the frontage road and had a fabulous (also inexpensive) breakfast at the Ranch Caf. Although this motel is right off the freeway, in a somewhat industrial area, it was surprisingly quiet all night long. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"The Red Lion Inn is just a little further."
A "dog-friendly" hotel should not mean that the lobby smells like dog urine. TV remote did not work and curtains were broken. One room's A/C was also broken. We had three rooms, and the staff deactivated the keys to each before we were scheduled to check out, but on different days, just to keep us guessing. It could not have been more difficult to get […] on and off the highway at this location. Continental breakfast was coffee, juice and breads only - no fruit or yogurt. Given the choice between staying here again and sleeping in my car, I would opt for the latter. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Friendly Hotel Staff at Days Inn Lewiston"
The Days Inn Lewiston will do in a pinch of not finding a hotel room around WA State University during graduation. It is about 45 minutes away from the University and a distance away from eating places as well. The staff were very kind and friendly. The cleaniness was just not acceptable when signs of former guest were evident. I think the Days Inn […] corportate office needs higher expectations and improvements in their facilities to increase their business and improve the nights stay for guests. "It was a good value for our needs."
We had a good experience during our stay. We were there to attend a graduation so were only on the premises late evening to mid morning. There was a bit of a sour smell in the hallway which we attributed to the pulp mill in the area. The staff was pleasant, helpful & personable. The room & bathroom were clean & everything worked fine. The building was […] well-maintained. Breakfast was adequate--Juice, coffee, hot chocolate, dry cereal, oatmeal packets, milk, toast, English muffins, mini-muffins--it would be helpful to provide some protein such as hard-boiled eggs for Diabetics, & some fresh fruit. We had brought oranges & peanut butter with us. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the highway but too close to the papermil"
I got to the hotel at about 1:30 p.m. and when I got there I had to wait 30 minutes before I could enter the room because housekeeping had just began the cleaning process. The remote control to the tv wasn't working so I asked for assistance and they replaced the batteries but only certain buttons of the remote would work. Noise was definitely an issue; […] Our room was right next to the laundry room, there were dogs barking early in the morning and slamming of doors. I guess for the price it was so-so. But on a positive note, I did appreciate that they allowed me to check out an hour later so that I could attend church. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Lewiston, ID has a terrible smell coming from the paper/pulp plant directly across the river from the motel. It smelled all three days we were there. The receptionist just laughed at our question when we asked if the smell was in the room. Fortunately it was not, but when you went outside the smell was strong. The hotel cleaning people didn't vacuum […] the room, provide clean towels & wash cloths for all that were used each day. They refused to make our bed for two nights & left us a form letter stating why. They stated the reason for not making the bed was that we had personal items on the bed. We didn't have any personal items on the bed unless you consider our two pillows brought from home laid across the top of the bed under the covers personal items. "Shame I wasn't told, but I have learned now."
The people were friendly, room was taken care of well. The one thing that upset me was finding out the last night of a 9 day stay they had rooms with a refrigerator and microwave. We decided to have popcorn, and when I asked about the microwave I was asked if I had one in the room. I then learned that people staying over 3 days got both of the items […] mentioned above. It wouldn't have been bad if the hotel was full, but it was less then 25%. So, people staying 1 day got both of those items and our stay of 9 days never got one. I could have lived without the microwave, but the refrigerator would have been nice to keep stuff in instead of getting ice for the cooler everyday. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Hotel was clean, but had to have our room keys reprogrammed 3 times before we could enter our room upon checkin. It was a bit frustrating as the rooms aren't convenient to the lobby, The desk clerk had to come and let us in. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

non-existent continental breakfast, room could have been nicer by replacing the 80's comforters, two of three towels were worn out and should be used for wiping the sinks and toiletsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Simple but clean"
Friendly enough staff breakfast was very basic but you get what you pay for. My only real complaint is that the back security door is broken the property is aware of it and trying to get it resolved. It was a place to stay the night, but not very comfortable. Found a live weevil in 1 bed and not the same quality continental breakfast we are used to at Days Inns. We have camped out in the state park in other years. The state park has raised the rates of the cabin we were staying in to the point that the motel was the same price of the cabin. "FAR better than expected"
Ratings indicated a dive. People were great. We got in REALLY late, (early really) and the front desk was very helpful. Location a little funky but phone directions from front desk made it easy. Outside was odoriferous but Lesiston is a paper mill town....they stink. We will stay there in November.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I rated the cleanliness of the room at a 2. The room itself was clean but when we went to go to bed and pulled back the sheets there was blood on the bottom sheet.
