I love this motel, it has a fast flowing creek behind it. Which you observe from the deck, while sipping your favorite beverage! I had breakfast on the deck, it was great! The rooms are all redone tastefully! The clerk was friendly, along w/ the rest of the staff. Deadwood has a trolley which comes by every half hour or so and will take you downtown. I always enjoy my trip to Deadwood and the Super 8 is a large part of that!

"Updated rooms and friendly staff!"

We spent 2 nights here while visiting Deadwood and Mt. Rushmore. We were going to have a late arrival due to traffic, etc. and when I called, they were extremely friendly and said not to worry, that our room was ready. When we got there at almost midnight, the check-in process was quick and smooth. We were in our rooms within 10 minutes of arrival. All of the staff was friendly and accomodating. The rooms were recently remodeled and you could tell. Fresh carpet and updated bathroom. The hotel is attached, as are most, with a casino. In Deadwood, to raise money, casino's are abundant. There is a decent sized pool between the hotel and the casino. The breakfast area is extremely small, but the food is wonderful. I've been to many hotels that have breakfast and serve Belgian waffles, however, this was the first I've been to that had flavored waffles. We opted for the cinnamon each day and were very delighted with them. They also have the variety of yogurt, cereal, rolls and danishes, etc. The hotel is conveniently located to downtown Deadwood and the other attractions around. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely stay there again if visiting Deadwood.
"best experience ever!"

Wonderful staff, great breakfast, immaculate pool and spa. Clean and attractive rooms and fantastic gambling! ( My winnings paid for our room!) It's centrally located and the outdoor deck and rushing river was a perfect place to either have breakfast or read your paper. We will recommend this super eight to all of our traveling friends. "Nice Place to Stay!"
The room we had at Deadwood had 3 Queen beds...perfect for our family of 5. The room looked recently updated with new carpet and bedding as well as updated bathroom and artwork. Plenty of room to move around. The pool area was very neat and clean. Kind of strange that the pool area was the hallway to the Casino, but very nice. The continental breakfast in the morning had fresh cinnamon and caramel rolls (VERY Yummy). Nothing but good things to say about our stay.

Front desk was extremely helpful, friendly, and took a lot of time to guide us to excellent "local" favorites and ways to save money in transportation while in town. The room was clean, quiet, and perfect for our needs!

Deadwood is a very interesting town. The town was restored with monies from gambling. We choose the Super 8 because of the reviews on trip advisor. Overall they got it new but not sure how new. The best part of our experience was the people. The front desk was extremely helpful. The room was clean and spacious. We booked directly on the Hotel's website after comparing prices with other websites. We stayed on the lower level at the front. Noise from outside was not a problem but noise from the hall was easily heard. Food was fine for breakfast not great but more than sufficient. The eating space was very small . The pool and hot tub looked well maintained. Did I mentioned that the best thing was the staff- three cheers for them. One suggestion though is that all staff should be given the opportunity to visit the top attractions in Deadwood including the Adams house and museum so they have intimate knowldge that they can share with tourists. We would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the Deadwood Super8, Everything has recently been redone. It is so fresh and clean. The beds were very comfortable and the people were helpful. The pool area is lovely and breakfast was very good. I highly recommend staying here. It is close to many attractions and the price was reasonable.
"Very cute and clean hotel in Deawood"

The rooms were just recently redone and it showed. They did a very good job at updating the rooms to the point it did not seem like your standard Super 8. We stayed here because of the price and location within Deadwood and the Black Hills. We would go back now because it was a good place to stay. They have an outdoor deck next to a creek to eat your breakfast which was a great way to start each morning. there is also a wonderful trail on the other side of the creek to do simply hiking. The trolly stopped at the hotel to and it was about a mile to downtown Deadwood. I am glad I picked this hotel at this location.

I stayed for a night at the Super 8 in Deadwood in the beginning of July. This has not been my first stay here usually we try to stay at least once a year, but did not last year because I could not get a reservation during our vacation time. They recently remodeled and we had not been there since they had, but the place looks great. The family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. My wife went to order a pizza and gamble for a few minutes while waiting for the pizza to get ready. I gambled as well and enjoy their casino it is small, but has enough machines that you can still move around and find something fun. We love this hotel and that is why we continue to go they have pride in the whole place and it shows. You have to check it out.
