"Good for the money"
Stayed here while on a training trip. It was a good deal for the money, breakfast was very basic though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to the University where our daughter is"
enjoyed the room - they let us checkin early so we were able to catch a nap before starting the day after multiple hours of driving - always a good staff and great people to work with.Genuine Expedia guest review
"You get what you pay for . . . sometimes"
We arrived in 4-degree weather, and our room was conveniently preheated to at least 90 degrees. Our non-smoking room had been provided with that stale cigarette smoke aroma that one often has to go without in such rooms. The sink went to both extremes of temperature--from blister-raising hot to frostbite-inducing cold--with no apparent means of finding […] a middle ground. Super 8 also provided us with some late night entertainment, as other guests performed an impromptu laughing and running competition out in the hallway sometime after midnight. Another considerate feature of the motel was the time-limit feature of its wireless internet; after about two minutes, the wireless router would cut off access to the internet. The night clerk thoughtfully reset the router for us once before I figured out that this was standard protocol. It allowed me to get to bed fairly early and, despite the aforementioned late-night entertainment, rise in time for the free subcontinental breakfast, which came complete with three small tables to share with all the other guests, As I stood there waiting for a seat, I did have the extra pleasure of hearing two of Super 8's employees debate the merits of their career as if no one else were present. "very little housekeeping"
The hotel was great and everyone was very nice. My only issue is that we wanted our hotel room to be cleaned and not just the bathroom. But all they did was take the bathroom trash and dirty towels in the bathroom and stuck a do not disturb sign on the door. Our sheets were not changed and our trash in the hotel was not taken out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close to SW Mo State campus"
This hotel was comfortable and the employees were very friendly. We went down for breakfast around 940 and everything was still available although a sign showed breakfast was was 6-9AM. I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good stay for the price"
This facility is adequate, although a bit dated. The room smelled a bit stale upon entry but was good-sized. The TV is old and couldn't display the entire screen of the cable picture being fed to it. No complaints about the shower or the beds. The Wi-Fi was weak but did work okay. The breakfast offerings were sparse, just coffee and a prepackaged cinnamon […] roll or waffles. Nevertheless, while I can't fault anything really serious, I would be tempted to pay a little extra and choose another hotel next time I'm in Maryville. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was reasonably priced, they need to pay more attention to smoke detectors ours was buzzing when the fan in the bathroom had been on for a while. Bathroom light and fan on same switch. Also, need to pay more attention to the sheets. They had been washed but still had a blood stain in a strategic location. Perhaps it should be taken out of service. […] Otherwise we enjoyed the visit with my grandson and son's son at Maryville treatment Center. I would recommend it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
They might look into getting newer or cleaning the filters on the air conditioner, a musty smell was constant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Comfortable and reasonableGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was attractive and very clean. It had everything in it you could want--a safe, a microwave, a refrigerator, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, breakfast next morning.. For the low price, we did not expect all of that.Genuine Expedia guest review
The person checking us in was very pleasant. We like the fact that we could travel with our pet Yorkie.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Super 8 - Maryville, MO - clean and inexpensive"
Clean...but kinda dumpy - peeling paint in the bathroom, tiny towels.... Price was very reasonable however, our non-smoking room smelled of smoke. Breakfast area is very small and was very crowded. The hours are very limited for just being a continental breakfast.....over by 9 on a Sunday morning? Bottom line...I would stay there again but only if I […] was being thrifty or the other hotels in Maryville were full. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Super 8 Maryville, Mo."
We had a nice comfortable and clean room. The only thing that made us re-think whether we will choose this hotel again is what we found in the hallway. We asked for a non-smoking room and all of the rooms down the hallway had signs for non-smoking but the hallway was filled with smoke. Someone was smoking on our floor and everyone had to put up with […] it. The smoke was so bad that my nose was burning and my thorat hurt. My husband finally had to place a blanket around the space around the door to try and keep the smell out of our room. I think that maybe someone from the staff should make visits to the floors to check on whether occupunts are following rules. I did not feel comfortable complaining when we were only there one evening but we will probably choose a different hotel the next time we are in Maryville. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Basic accommodations at a reasonable price"
The Super-8 in Maryville MO is like nearly every Super-8 I have ever stayed in -- clean, simple rooms at rates that don't break the budget. Its location is on the south approach to town and has several restaurants, including one that is a short walk across the parking lot. The management was able to accommodate my need for a first floor room with no […] difficulties. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Super 8 - Maryville, MO"

The internet service was out the entire stay (in my room). There was no media center where I good go and use a computer. It was storming and they recommended that I go to the hotel next door and use theirs. Otherwise excellent place to stay.
"Ok if you need a room for a night."
07/03/14 Osuz518 Pleasantville, Iowa
My family had adjoining rooms with 2 queen beds in each. This request was meet which I could not have confirmed when the reservations where made. We needed a hotel for one night for a football camp for the next day. Our first choice was sold out. Our rooms where on the first floor which is really a split floor half in the ground. I don't know if this made a difference on the moldy water smell or not. It could have also been the air conditioners not draining right. Either way it was constant the whole stag which we were hardly in the room except to sleep. I thought the free breakfast might help make up for the musty smell in the room. But when I went to check it out for our family the front desk check had her son sleeping in the chair in the lobby which is not very large. I would only stay here again if no other option was available.
"Needs some work"
06/16/14 Mary H Maryville
These rooms need some good cleaning. All edges of carpet and bathroom floor were very dirty. Bathroom door very dirty. Carpet around beds dirty. Beds were comfy but covers were stained. Sink was clean and most of the tub. We had several rooms and all were the same. Entrance door to the rooms had security entrance but didn't work so all rooms were totally open to anyone all night. Did not feel secure. Very minimal breakfast, only carbs. I told reservation that we would check-in after midnight but found out by note on door that after 11pm must check in at Comfort Inn next door.
"a good value"

The staff was very helpful and answered any questions about the area or the motel. My room could have used a little more cleaning along the floor next to the wall....otherwise it was nice and clean. It was quiet.

Our son was playing in a football camp at Northwest Missouri State and we stayed one night in the Super 8. The girl at the desk was very nice and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't a buffet, but rolls, yogurt, coffee and juice is all we needed.
"I stayed in this Super 8 (Maryville) for four nights on..."
06/07/14 Brenna M Maryville
I stayed in this Super 8 (Maryville) for four nights on business and had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and the internet was fast. The staff cared about my comfort and safety. It was the least expensive in the area, but went beyond my expectations.

Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. micro/fridge in all rooms is handy and they have nice flat screen TV's. Staff is helpful and friendly. Raised their rate recently, but so did the other motels.
"Best Super 8 I have visited"
04/28/14 Michele S Maryville
I was impressed with the staff who were friendly and genuine. The room was immaculately clean and had a new look to it with clean carpets, furniture, etc. The entire second floor was no-smoking and we did not smell smoke at all. Breakfast space was cramped but the usual spread. Thank you for caring about your guests.
03/04/14 Sunny H Maryville
The hallways smelled badly of cigarette smoke, the rooms were better but still stale smelling.
