Left after 1 night of 4. Place was dirty from room to pool area. Poor quality food. only hot choice was waffle. Mold on danish. Pool was dirty with foam in jacuzzi. The tub and toilet were plugged, the desk chair was not secured to the chair frame and the beds were worst then the ones at motel 6. Definitely will not ever stay there again nor recommend it to anyone.

Westbrook Super 8 probably had the most comfortable bed I've slept in for a long time! Other Super 8 beds I've slept in ranged from great to horrible. That's the one problem with this franchise, you don't know what you're going to get depending on the location but I was very satisfied with the Westbrook, Maine location.

When we checked in there was no soap in bathroom, the next day we were gone all day and when we returned our room had not been cleaned at all, beds were not maid and dirty towels still in bathroom. I don't think we will stay there again.

Housekeeping skipped our room 1 day out of our 3 night stay, shower curtain was moldy and no good place to hang wet towels and swimsuit. Day staff was pleasant, night staff was pretty indifferent, busy time of year, but still. Microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator were nice touches.

I expected a lot more for the money and the location you would think it would be I better shape! Kinda looks like no money is being put back into the motel itself. I rented two rooms myself and friends and was at awh that they even had to complain about the condition of the room. I'll leave it at that! Never stay there again !

We booked a non-smoking king size room, however when we got there the room had 2 smaller beds and smelled like smoke. When we went up to the desk to question our room and show them the confirmation from Expedia they stated that they only get our billing information and reservation date. The person at the desk was friendly, but could do nothing for us. Besides the smell, the room seemed clean. We were only there 1 night. I have bad allergies and passed on other hotels because they did not have non-smoking king size rooms available for the night we needed. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were generally comfortable and the price was good. Breakfast was quite extensive and very enjoyable. One of our non smoking room reeked of smoke and had cigarette burns on the bed cover and the carpet. The hotel should have held the prior occupant accountable and also done a proper cleaning

The Super 8 is extremely convenient for going out in downtown Portland. It's about 5 minutes away. The rooms are clean but not at all fancy. The bed was super comfortable, good water pressure in the shower and the air conditioning was blasting!! We could do without the green carpet, but otherwise, it's a great place to stay on a budget.
