"Only hotel in Pella that allows Pets"
It was average. The halls smelled like smoke, but my room did not. The staff was friendly. The rooms are outdated and the beds are like trampolines. The are so soft and springy. "No Clerk, warm milk does not make a happy guest!"
I was disappointed when I came. I had visited the desk a couple of different times only to have to call 403 for the desk clerk to come. The breakfast I was disappointed in that the milk had set out for who knows how long. It was not cold. We ate at approximately 8a.m. and left around 10:30 a.m. to find the milk was still setting out and the breakfast […] was suppose to be over by 9 a.m. To have to listen to the Clerk and one of the cleaning ladies the whole time while we were trying to enjoy a breakfast, was not pleasant. "Very average for a quick overnight stay."
This is a very average hotel. The remote to the TV is programmed so that it cannot turn the TV on/off or regulate volume. You must control this from the TV itself. There was only 1 available outlet in the whole room. The breakfast area is very small and located at the front door of the hotel. The air temp was very warm. Hotel was just fine. If you are staying at a Super 8 your expectations shouldn't be anything more than a nice clean room and a quiet stay, with friendly staff. "Comfort in a small town."
We have stayed in this motel many times. We travel to Pella at least twice a year as our son goes to college there. We have stayed there every time but once. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are always courteous and very helpful. They are responsive to all of our needs.
