I read the reviews for this motel, and I chose it based on the positive responses from others. It was a very good value for the price. (You have […] to pay for parking at several of the hotels in Niagara Falls.) Here's what I wish I had known: there is a BUS STOP in front of the hotel. We paid $15 to park close to the Falls, which was unnecessary. We could have gone to the hotel first and taken the bus in for a lot less money. When we checked in, we got a $5 "discount voucher" for each person for the Golden Griddle next door. We thought it was a great deal until the bill came (their prices are listed NOWHERE). Holy cow! It was not a great buffet (the cinnamon buns were put out still frozen), and our bill for 4 people -- buffet plus 2 coffees and 2 apple juices -- came to $52 AFTER the coupons. Had we gone a block further, we could have had breakfast for 1/3 of that price. That was ridiculous. But the hotel was fine. I would definitely stay there again. Read more

If you want to save money and use it on the attractions this is not a bad choice, but be aware, the bus , red line IS VERY SLOW , one every 30 minutes or more and if is full they wont take you, that make our travel very slow mostly at night, DO NOT GO TO HAVE YOUR BREAKFAST ON THIS PLACE NEXT TO THE HOTEL forgot about the 5 dollars i wrote the bad review […] and still went one day , TERRIBLE MISTAKE, more expensive that any other place an a really bad breakfast, if you just move closer to the falls, there are plenty of beautiful places less expensive, 6.99 , and a lot better breakfast, also be aware certain restaurant will charge you 5 % if you pay with american dollars, very random , so ask first or change your dollars . Very nice hotel. Within walking distance of Clifton hills and if you don't want to walk you can get a one day bus pass. Be careful about breakfast included, it really isn't, they give you a $5 voucher of their $12 buffett. Also when booking thru hotels.com you don't always get a non-smoking room. Front desk says that the online site books any room available […] and they do this regularly. She suggested to always call 1 day after the reservation to make sure everything is correct, that being said they were very accommodating and moved us to a non-smoking room. Read more

Very friendly and helpful service desk staff. We stayed 2 nights and had a great time. No problem with hotel or location. Approximately a ten minute walk to the attractions. The coupon for the breakfast buffet next door helped but the buffet was still way overpriced.

The Hotel was nice. The breakfast was miss leading. My family received a $5.00 meal ticket per person. We ate at the restaurant and later found out that the price for the meal after using the meal voucher was the same price as all of the other restaurants on the block. Room was adequate. Only problem was that our confirmation said check-in time was 1PM. When we arrived we were somewhat rudely told that there would be no room ready until after 3PM. Not exactly the way you wish to be greeted after driving from Toronto. Otherwise hotel was maintained well and was in good order.

We are a family of 5 with 7-12 yr. olds. The room's size (2 queens) was more than sufficient - quite roomy, actually! All facilities were clean and the staff was helpful for what we needed. The pools were decent, but we spent so much time sight seeing that we didn't use them much. The "free continental breakfast" didn't exist - it was a $5 coupon for the next door overpriced restaurant. But, in Niagara Falls, Canada, everything is overpriced AND taxed - be prepared to spend lots of $$$. The free parking was plentiful and very acceptable in a town where parking is costly. We walked to everything - the Falls are about 3/4 mile, but you walk through Clifton Hill (the amusement area), so there is lots to see on the way. Take advantage of the all you can eat restaurants ($6.99 for breakfast buffet). The streets were very safe and we had no issues returning to the hotel at 11 pm after a full day out on the American side of the Falls. Every day we left the hotel to walk somewhere, we watched the 3 neighborhood hookers soliciting the passing cars. I called the hotel directly and the manger avoided me. She asked me to call back in half an hour and when I did, I was told she went home for the day and NO ONE else could help me. I asked for HER supervisor and they said the could not give me that information. I called my bank to dispute the charges as I could prove I had already paid for the room last week. I got my money back, no thanks to the hotel but from my bank. That manager should be fired. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL...I should know, I am a manager and would NEVER treat a customer with such disrespect. Read more

This hotel was horrible. The staff were impatient and rude, and did not want to assist us in any way. We requested a smoke free room, and when we went to our room it smelled very strongly of smoke. It was in the afternoon, so all the guests had not been registered yet. Finally, after a long conversation about the room, a new person appeared and put us in a new room. The wall paper was coming off the walls, there was mold in the bathroom, the carpet was not clean, but it was still an improvement. We left a day early, and lost money, simply because we could not stand that place one more minute. The pool is tiny, and there is ALWAYS a lot of people in it. The location is a long walk to the falls, and you must pass a lot of unsavory businesses. It is located on a very business street, and there was a lot of noise because of the cars and motorcycles. The room was very nice and clean. Unfortunately there were children running wild in hallways, elevators, and lobby. The staff did nothing about the situation which continued both days we were there and well into the evening (11:30 pm).

The hotel was good to stay but, I couldn't have any breakfast at this hotel as it described in my voucher. They offered only $5 discount coupons but, the restaurant was very expensive. I payed $40 in a discounted price for 4 breakfast(2 adults and 2 kids). It was terrible. I recommend you who wants to stay this hotel have to find gooood restaurant.
