I think the rooms were wonderfully clean, smelled like new paint, but it wasn't overwhelming, and at least it didn't smell like smoke. Front desk clerk by name of Young, was very pleasant and kind.

would not stay at a Americas best value inn again - phones did not work in our room -heating air cooling unit very noisy(was told they are working on them)- poor breakfast - 6 - 7 people sitting smoking and drinking beer outside at main entrance for hours in the afternoon and evening - bleach stains on carpeting in hallway and our room -

Overall it wasn't bad, but I would like to have seen the breakfast hours posted in the room, not just downstairs by the desk. I also had somewhat of a smoke smell in my room. I had only been in my room briefly when I checked in and didn't notice the smell then, however; when I got back much later, I could smell it. I didn't report it, even though the […] in room info said they had ozne machines. I chose not to report it as the hour was already late and the info said you needed to be out of your room for an hour while the machine was in use. This was our third year @ this location. The new owners really cleaned the place up. New furniture in the lobby, breakfast area now has a waffle machine and more to choose from. This hotel was very welcoming and we loved that it was dog-friendly, however did not know this until we arrived without our pup. It would be a perfect stay if the rooms had a fridge and microwave in each room. After going out to eat, there was no where to keep leftovers or just to keep beverages cool. Wasted much food during our stay :(

This was the 6th visit to the hotel. The previous 5 under old ownership but I understand it still has the same management couple. I would only stay somewhere else if I couldn't get a room there when I visit. Very clean, quiet, team is very helpful. Lobby is attractive and continental breakfast is available.

This is a bargain motel in an otherwise expensive area in the summer. High rates for average quality. For a one night stay, it did the job. Nice people run the place and it served its purpose.

The folks were very helpful and friendly. My schedule didn't allow me to sample the breakfast. All my comments are positive except for: No tea bags in the room: Hair Dryer not very efficient; Need another ramp in front of bldg for ease of bags logistics. Bottom Line: I would stay here again.

The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. I liked it that the heating and cooling system was so, very quiet and the air wasn't overly dry in the unit. There was not a pool, but we were too busy to partake in that type of activity. A hair dryer was not located in the room, but the staff provided me with one from behind the registration desk.

We had a show to do in the area and when we arrived they took care of our special needs. i.e. extra pillow, extra coffee and faxing letter for us. The desk clerk was very nice and considerate. Would stay again.

I was looking for a no frills hotel at a good price. This was it. When I check in the woman at the desk was very pleasant and they gave me a complementary bag of microwave popcorn. The microwave is in the lobby. The room I was in was very clean. The bed was comfortable; I would recommend your own pillow. The pillows were a bit flat. There was a night […] light just outside the bathroom door that you could adjust, that was very nice since hotel rooms tend to be so dark. In the morning the continental breakfast was very small, they had instant oatmeal, bread, muffins, and some frozen items that could be heated up, but no fruit. The staff was very helpful to my wife and my son. My wife had to be brought to the hospital and the staff made sure her and my son where taken care of. The front desk lady even went to the hospital to pick up my wife and bring her back to the motel. I will stay there again the next time I am in Wisconsin Rapids.
