It was dirty, we had a non-smoking room right next to a smoking room so it smelled of smoke. The hall way had a big red stain in it that looked like someone died. Would not recomend this hotel to anyone.

I liked that I was able to do an early check in. The front desk staff was pleasant. The room was small but clean and quiet. It had everything we needed for a two night stay - two queen beds,tv, fridge, microwave, and coffe machine. Also, had a convenient breakfast with more options than just donuts. For the price we paid it was a great surprise.

The mattress was too hard and the bathtub looked like it needs a good bleaching. I won't skimp on quality again to save a buck. It's ok if you are looking to save a dollar.

Would have been great but the coffee pot was missing from the coffee maker so I could not have coffee in the morning. Needless to say I didn't even bother with the supposed breakfast.

The hotel was relatively inexpensive which is why we picked it. Cons:The rooms are clean, but the hallways have a constant strong smell of cigarette smoke. The beds are very cheap and firm, the springs can be felt when you sleep. The shower is very weak, but I guess this is what you get for the price. Pros: Convenient location

Super 8 really needs to figure out how to raise the standards of Super 8 hotels. I have stayed in a Super 8 that was fabulous, most are OK, some were pretty ratty. It's hard to have confidence in a brand name when the properties are completely unpredictable and very different. Thank God for TripAdvisor!!

The room had a tiny bed (definately not the queen size I'd paid for) against a wall, a tv on a tiny table and the alarm clock on the floor. There was NO closet or dresser. Fortunately it did have a toilet and clean sheets. I'm just glad it was only a one night stay.

Have stayed here many times. This last time, the room was dirty and it smelled of cigarette smoke. Even after it was cleaned it still smelled. It turned out the cleaning people must have been heavy smokers because the smell pervaded the room after they left. After this last experience, it is no longer the great value it used to be.

Traveled to visit family, chose to stay at Motel only as a place to sleep and shower. Cleanliness was OK. Both nights the fire detection system went off multiple times, evidently a problem in the system. Very inconvenient, somewhat distressing. Crystal Lake used to be a nice area to live in but I think they just over developed it. In regards to the hotel the location was iffy and it needed a better outward appearence. We asked for a nonsmoking room but I think we got a smoking room that was converted over. The smoke smell in the room was overly strong and got into our clothes.
