The stay overnight was just ok. There was a sensor light in the room that came on every two and a half hours. Not fun waking up to a lit room. On the plus side the reception individuals were great and fun to talk to. The breakfast was just ok.

The location is right next to a gas station. There are no views and the rooms had a very gross smell. The sheets had sains on them. And our shower broke in the morning and only shot out burning hot water. We had to find a room for the weekend because of a wedding at the Edwards Mansion. The bride and groom and some other friends booked their rooms at the Hilton hotel, but because money was tight for us, we had to find other options. The bedding was of hotel quality and very lush and inviting. The room and decor was much better than what I expected. Our room came with a fridge and microwave. Staff was very friendly and attentive. (We called the front desk around midnight for towels and they were happy to help). Comparing our room to the Hilton where friends stayed, we had the better room. Also, we had met a family who's car was stolen in the Hilton parking lot. That could have been us! Overall, I loved our room and the service of this Best Western. I would highly recommend it. Quiet, clean, heater worked nicely on a cool spring day in march. Free breakfast consisted of frozen breakfast items to be microwaved and packaged muffins as well as toast and cereal. Showers and bathroom not sparkling new but clean. Would stay again.

It's rated 2.5 stars but I had a 3 star experience that could be higher with a few changes. The carpets were terribly old and dirty, and the breakfast was serviceable. With that said, the bed was great, the shower and "supplies" were great. It was comfortable overall. I would have rated it a 5 if the carpets weren't so bad.

Our non profit organization booked two rooms at this hotel and they charged me $100 for smoking when we did not. When we called the Manager to try to resolve the situation she (Rhonda) was extremely rude and hung up on me. When I called the hotel back she pretended to be another employee and told me she would not help us. BEWARE so this doesn't happen […] you! My husband and I made last minute reservations, but were able to get the accomodations we requested at a reasonable rate; however, the only option for something hot for breakfast was a burrito from the microwave. A waffle iron would have been nice.

As a single woman I felt uncomfortable there. The neighborhood, men drinking bottle beer on the common walkway to all rooms., The surrounding streets are all torn up by the county and driving is awful as well as the traffic tie-ups.

The room was updated and nice for a motel. It was clean and there were no major issues there. The rooms open to the outside, however, and the area does not feel all that safe. My room faced a side street just off a busy road. You can hear traffic from the street. The door did not seal well, so even with the two locks, the security felt so-so. The front desk was not friendly but rather aloof. It also seemed because I didn't book directly with the hotel, I was treated in a different manner than those who did. Also when I tried to check out and ask if there were extra charges, the front desk stated she couldn't tell me till she checked the room. The hotel provided very well considering the cost. It definitely suited my needs. Never having stayed at a Best Western before I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room and the friendliness of the staff..The only real criticism is the unusual shape and positioning of the toilet seat. Though not a major issue, it is uncomfortable.

The room and grounds were clean and well kept. This, however, was unimportant since the beds were so hard and uncomfortable that neither me or my wife could sleep. Theere was no bed cover except very light weight so we requested a blanket. They provided us with a blanket, but we had to go to the front desk to get it and we were a long way from the office. […] We had expected a "full" breakfast. Maybe today a "full" breakfast is cereal, pre-packaged sweet roll, bagels with no cream cheese or butter, unfortunately,at other hotels where we have stayed a "full" breakfast is bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, toast, waffles, etc. We unexpectedly stayed over a second night but were told no rooms were available (during the week in San Bernardino?) so went next door to an older Days Inn. There's not much to say. It's a hotel room. A lot cleaner than most other hotels I been to. The room didn't smell and the sheets were clean. The coffee maker was a little nasty but that's about it. It's in a pretty alright neighborhood near the shops and restaurants and freeways. Overall, it was a good, comfortable overnight stay.

I was in the area for medical reasons. The room was clean and neat, and the surroundings were good. The employees were friendly and helpful. I couldn't speak to the breakfast. I didn't have it. I would definately stay there again. The room rate was very good. We use the pool.

If I needed to be in the area again, would consider Best Western again. Had clerk available for late check-in. Room was clean, enjoyed the King size bed. Could have used more toiletries in the room, but sign said more was available if requested. I did not request since it was after midnight when I checked-in and was settled.

Stood here two nights to drive up to big bear. Approximately 1hr away from Big Bear Lake. Overall staff was nice, pool hours are great they closed at 9pm. Had a 3 day conference in the Hilton across the street. Wanted to stay some place cheaper. This hotel was very nice place to stay for only a third to half the price I was offered from the Hilton. I made a good decision. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and had very nice staff.

The hotel allowed us an early check in due to my husband being ill and just back from hospital. We had another early day with him going back to hospital for tests and the hotel was quiet and very comfortable for the both of us.
