Got a grate per nite rate via internet. Arrived 1 day earley (charged an additional fee almost twice that amount). Very run down hotel. Toilet @ 1 1/2 foot off floor, water never shut off in dirty bathtub. Furniture burnt and broken. Advertized HBO/ESPN, only got 3 very fuzzy local channels. No WI-FI. Same two muffing put out three straight days. Pipes emmitting very loud noises starting about 3am until all the water in the room turned on high @ 15 minutes. Sink not draining. on half to two inch crach in door accessing room. Absolutely would not recommend to anyone. If I had read reviews prior I nevr would have stayed there. Never again.

"Not worth it"

The pictures of this hotel don't speak true. It was in a bad neighborhood. The room condition was over all very poor. The bathroom was bad enough to make me doubt taking a shower. The customer service was overworked and did not speak english very well. The free wifi provided was adequate to meet simple needs and the air conditioner blew plenty of cold air. The linins were clean, but with cigarette burn wholes, and the bed was comfortable. Overall I would not recommend to anyone that they stay in this hotel. You do not get what you pay for.

The overall condition of the hotel is poor. It looks like it should be knocked down on the outside. The neighborhood is not one of the better ones in Phoenix. The inside of the hotel room I stayed in was semi clean but I was greated by other gross features. These included mold, unclean carpet, cigarette smell and burn holes in hotel blankets, and stains on the sheets. The toilet would not stop running all night. But the biggest grossness factor was brown tinted water comming out of all the pipes. I have stayed in worse places, but not for this price. I would not recommend this motel.

"Just Passing Through"

I live in Tucson and had to be in Phoenix early the next morning so I went a night ahead and stayed at the Travel Inn. My only requirement was price (low) and to that it delivered a quality, hotel experience. I comfortably showered, and watched HBO. Be warned I wouldn't wander around the area outside after dark.

The bathroom/changing area was small and did not allow as much privacy for changing clothes. But overall, the rest of the room and beds were okay. We were traveling on business with a limited budget so we got value for our money. One downside - we don't drink coffee nor eat donuts/rolls for breakfast so felt the "continental breakfast" was totally inadequate. There wasn't even any tea, OJ or milk or even the option for toast!

"Hotel is a Dump"

Air conditioning did not work; someone had kicked it in. August in Phoenix - you would think the hotel would ensure all their A/C units worked. The supposedly nonsmoking room stank of tobacco smoke. Carpet was filthy. The desk clerk did not offer another room until after the Hotels.com representative called the hotel. Hotel is in a seedy part of town. I wouldn't stay here if you paid me to.

"Not worth the money"

This hotel was in a bad neighborhood and had no amenities at all. The ice machine didn't work. The pool was shut and this was the main reason we stayed here. Only saving grace was it was near the freeway for a quick getaway. Not worth the money and should only have half a star at best.

Only positive thing was close to airport. Room was dingy and rundown. Bugs inside and holes in wall. Car alarms were going off all night, seemed like unsafe neighborhood. If you literally just want a bed to sleep, and no comfort or cleanliness this is your room. If you look for quality, definately not recommended.
