"0ff the beaten path"
Decent hotel for the price. Average in all areas. Decent breakfast each morning. Funny smell in room and flickering vanity light annoyed me. But if paid the same price I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Near St. Paul and Minneapolis"
Great hotel for the price. The location to the twin cities was perfect and the suite is the best option with kids.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is very noisy, the heater in the room came on frequently and was very loud, kept us awake. Could not turn up the volume on the TV high enough to hear it over the heater. Had to use closed captioning to watch a movie. Noises from showers and toilets in other rooms very loud, and noises from the hallway were easily heard. The hotel itself is […] very clean and comfortable and the staff was great. Probably wouldn't stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was wonderful for the price; however after shopping all day on Saturday (Mall of America and IKEA) we just wanted to go back and sit in the hut bub; apparenlty there was a Kids Birthday party and there was a accident in the pool area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Much nicer than anticipated."
The size of the room and the abundant furniture including the two TV's were a pleasant surpriseGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beware the pet fee!"
The size and cleanliness of the rooms was nice. As was the refrigerator and two TVs. However, the microwave was broken and both the pull out couch and bed were incredibly uncomfortable. It was hard sleeping there for 2 nights.....I certainly would not want an extended stay! The biggest disappointment was the $100 pet fee. Though listed as a pet friendly […] motel, the Expedia description does not mention that there is a $100 pet fee. We were only informed of this at the time of check in, and were very frustrated that this wasn't made clear at the time of booking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The hotel and staff were very helpful and their services were high quality. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
As this was a Marriott derivative, we knew it would be clean and reasonably up to date. The suite was generously sized, and we were quite comfortable, although the bed was a little less supportive than what would be expected. The separate living area and bedroom was nice, as was having two large LCD TVs in the suite.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Residence Inn Roseville"
Nice place, great for a family as the rooms have space for more than two, the breakfasts were good and the hotel was clean and we felt safe in the neighborhood around.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable Stay with Professional Staff"
10/15/14 Wizard1849 Union, Maine, United States
Located in a prime area that provides easy access to Minneapolis & St. Paul and all of their offerings. Would be a perfect location to travel to the State Fair, as it is just a short drive. Once you walk into the door one is greeted with a smile and positive, customer-oriented attitude. Upon check-in we were in time to partake of the manager's special. Offered good selection of food and drink. We enjoyed a tasty morning breakfast the following morning, which all are included in the hotel's rate. The room was equally one that offered us a comfortable place to recharge our batteries after a day on the road but with a kitchen that let us prepare food of our liking as opposed to ordering in or having to go out. Definitely recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay as you pass through the Twin Cities. Easy access to freeway system but yet quiet. If back in the area, would definitely stay at the Inn again.
"A wonderful place to stay"

My 93 year old dad and I recently stayed overnight at the Residence Inn in Roseville. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly faces and offered assistance by several staff members. One employee who overheard me comment that the bed my dad was going to sleep in was very high told me he would get help to lower it. Within minutes he was back and the bed was brought down to a more comfortable height. Everything was neat and clean. The morning breakfast was very good and I don't think I could find something to complain about if I tried. I want to thank the staff for making my dad's first trip in many years so pleasant!
"It was bad service overall."

I had made reservations online then had called up to the hotel and spoke with someone named mike he said it was set and to come. I get there he claims he never talked to anyone there were no more rooms and that i couldnt use the discount after a certain time i got from a family member. He gave me so much incorrect information. I was upset it was hard getting a room after that. He also told me he was the only one working and that i couldnt speak to a manager nor did he have the number. A week later i called up there to speak to a manager to let them know what happen. Again i spoke with and mike who claims he an assiant manager. He told me he could not fix nor help me. And that nobody else wqs there i could speak with. And that melissa was the general manager and was not there. This was the WORST experience i ever had to deal with, exspecially dealing with getting a room. The residence has bad quest service.
"Mold, Large Cobwebs, and Foul Smell"
We chose this place for a two week stay because we had great experiences with Residence Inn in other cities. After checking out three separate rooms we had to settle for the one that seemed the least filthy since the Minnesota State Fair was happening and there were no other hotels to go to. What we found here: Pieces of old, unidentifiable food on the carpet, mold underneath the sink and cobwebs that measured a foot in length and height. The matresses were saggy and very uncomfortable. The kitchenette had built up grime around the stove top, the sink, and elsewhere. Management was rude and unaccomodating as we asked to switch rooms due to the filth. Every table in the breakfast area was dirty, crumbs were left on the tables and floor throughout the eating area every day with staff members walking about and doing nothing. Do yourself a favor and do not come here. We will never be back.

I like staying here. I like having a kitchen area so I can eat a little healthier when traveling. Fitness room and pool both. Easy to get around in this area to the mall and many restaurants. Got a little noisier than normal this time but quieted down rapidly. Staff always pleasant and helpful. New luggage carts that are great! I stay here whenever I can get a room for the price I want to pay.

Easy to find and very accessible. Facility is up to date and great amenities. Free wifi and continental breakfast. We stayed in a studio which had a queen sized bed and a pull out couch, kitchen, sitting area and a nice size bathroom. Because of the family outing we traveled with food, so having a full size refrigerator and the options for cooking was a plus. The rooms were decorated nicely and were all the same. Plenty of space and very cozy.
"Nice lobby and breakfast area. Room just okay."
07/04/14 mbeth82 Litchfield, Minnesota
We checked in at 1:30 pm and were told the rollaway we desperately needed was not available and wouldn't be available at all during our stay. We had to go out and buy a blow-up mattress. The front desk clerk wasn't even very nice about the whole thing. The pull out couch was very uncomfortable to sleep on. It was very lumpy and old. The morning clerk was very friendly and the breakfast was good.
"Industrial Twin Cities Vibe"

This hotel is situated well off the beaten track as all Residence Inns are and so unless you have a specific reason for staying here (it was close to friends we knew) or have a car this is not really a tourist point of call. But it's good value for money, 24 hour reception desk and has great staff such as Mike and Josh and others who are friendly and go out of their way to make helpful suggestions and do things for you. There is a small shop selling snacks and sundries downstairs which is helpful and a great free breakfast which you can take back to your room and on some nights, free dinners as well which is nice. The rooms are huge and well appointed with kitchens ( but no stove only a cooktop and microwave) and also a living area as well as a comfy bed. The black blinds though are a bit dark. There are laundries which are cheap .75 to wash a load of clothes and 1.25 to dry them and require the use of a room key to get into making them secure. The baths though could do with the drains being cleaned out, showering whilst ankle deep in water is a bit rank because of those weird American plugs which don't come out of the bath and hence get clogged with soap and hair etc, note to Residence Inn clean them regularly!!!!! Plenty of towels, crockery, cutlery toiletires etc in the rooms and a common area downstairs if you want to sit there, you can also rent board games, dvds and there are a few books about too. If you want Walmart to get groceries it's only a two minute drive away, the hotel also has this service at a charge for you. Also close to Roseville Mall and a short drive away from Mall of America. It snowed 3 inches on one of the nights we were there, they thoughtfully have scrapers for your car! (Well you're in deepest Minnesota after all!!) It's a reasonable place to stay if you find yourself in the Land of 10,000 Lakes and are not looking to be a tourist per se.
"Nice Clean Hotel"
05/16/14 Itravelalot2011 Plainfield, Illinois
I have stayed here many times; it is very clean and has a deceit breakfast. Very slow at getting me my bills since i usually leave early in the morning before they come around with the bills. I like the location it’s off the beaten path, but plenty of food places nearby.
"Nice place, friendly staff, in a business park"
02/24/14 Cari M
We stayed over a long weekend and the hotel was very clean, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was very nice. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which was fantastic and the beds and pillows were really comfortable. There was a small kitchenette and a small sitting area with a TV and fireplace. No DVR player though. We enjoyed our stay but it was a little out of the way in the middle of a business park. Other than that, we had a very nice stay.
