We put up our niece and her girlfriend, both 28 years of age and from Belgrade, on their first trip to America. They loved this hotel, and were so impressed with the complimentary delicious buffet breakfasts served every morning! The lobby and public areas of the hotel are gorgeous, too. Their room had an amazing, fully equipped kitchen, "just like home." All in all, a huge success and we were all delighted. :)

Nice area and room. Service was great with very friendly interactions with all staff. Valet was handy and they were courteous. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable but the queen bed was fine.

I have stayed at this location several times and forget how unappealing the rooms are. Considering the location and price I was once again disappointed. *The rooms are outdated and tired. *The bathroom door must be closed in order to access the closet. *I am a TV person and I expect that the television would not be precariously placed on a make shift gadget to allows it to pull out from the dresser it is placed on (although not enough that it could be seen from the bed). If I laid on the side of the bed near the bathroom, I would see half the screen, however if I laid on the side of the bed near the window, I had to try to watch the screen by looking at its refection in the long mirror on the wall.

Large comfortable rooms, though the bathroom was a bit on the small side. I did not realize it had a small kitchen when I booked it. The kitchen was clean, though the full size fridge was noisy at night when trying to sleep. Still, overall a good place to stay at a reasonable price. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the staff at the front desk and the staff in the kitchen were not courteous with the hotel guests. The staff at the front desk including the Manager would not accommodate any of the guests requests such as late check out. The room keys were disabled too soon. It felt like we were rushed out. The kitchen staff was not willing to warm up food for the hotel guests. The overall feeling from the staff was not a "Welcome" feeling for a home away from home.

We like this hotel. We had noticed it was dog friendly, but wast not disclosed is that they want a $100.00 non-refundable cleaning fee and $10 a day for the dog. Since we arrived at 9pm. we were unable to get the dog an alternative setting until the next day. After we boarded the dog they refunded $50 of the fee, This was really a pain and, of course there was no cleaning required. We have stayed here many times and it is convenient and has just about exactly what the business traveler needs as "amenities". It is sparse, but works. Did ot need that surprise however.

This hotel is old and needs to be remodel. The carpeting in the rooms and hallways are old and durty. Our room was too small with a queen bed. We had a hard time getting in and out of the bed. The self parking for $27 per day was too expensive.

Nothing but good things! We were right on the street and never heard traffic noise. Parking is pricey ($24 self park $27 valet) but it is LA. We parked on the street right in front of the hotel (free from 8pm to 8am). Really enjoyed our stay.

I've always loved Residence Inn hotels b/c of the in-suite kitchen and the free breakfast. This particular Residence Inn had smaller than expected rooms than others I have stayed in. I was disappointed that we didn't have a door separating the room from the living room. Again, I must've had greater expectations from their other hotels. Other than that, loved the free breakfast, front desk employees were super nice, and we were in a great location.

had a fire alarm scar early am with all phones went dead, and no cell reception and no manager in site. we all took stairs to figure out and manager was there at lobby reassuring everyone but it got a bit chaotic.other than that, it was good. rooms a bit small and bed not near as comfy as a normal marriott bed.

Nice hotel,the check in is a late check in at 4pm we called the day before to see if we could check in earlier. Called the morning of and went to the hotel at 1:30pm no room yet. We had to leave for an appointment which is why we were staying at the hotel in the first place thus we were not able to check in till 12am when we were finished with our appointment. Very disappointed they could not have an earlier check in.

The hotel was below expectation in all aspects . The rooms were very small and the lounge is even smaller. The service at the hotel was miserable and the furniture was old and smelly. The were very rude and they refuse to give a late check out, even for half an hour. We enjoyed the city , but not the hotel unfortunately. For our next visit, definitely we will be looking for a bettet accompdation other than this hotel

This hotel was a VERY pleasant surprise! The hotel has been remodeled with beautiful decorations, catching the ambiance of LA in a classy yet relaxed setting. Having the amenities of a suite for a family and the included breakfast while also have great decor and a view of the skyline was amazing!

Hotel & neighborhood is apparently a dead zone for GPS function & (Spr-nt) Cell phone reception. For that nice a hotel at those prices, they can darn well change towels & linens daily without pretending it's "environmentally friendly" to make clients do without.

It is very annoying that hotels themselves and/or Hotels.com don't acknowledge the location is under construction, yet they charge market rates. By the time you find out, its too late to make a change, especially with non-refundable reservations. In this case lobby is under construction. Room was small, dated by Residence Inn standards. Self parking at this location is a hassle, and valet is over $25/day.
