If you are looking for a hotel close to Fort Jackson at a reasonable price this did the trick. It was about a 5-10 min drive to the base and the hotel is right off the highway and easy to find. The rooms were bigger than average and clean enough. The toilet seat could have been replaced and the windows washed better, but all in all it was a great place for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing is if you go when it's cold, you will not want to use the "indoor" pool. It is enclosed, but there are 2 doors on each side that do not close, so you get gusts of the cold air inside the pool enclosure. That was another downfall. I would stay here again though.

The stay at Suites was quite lovely, since they had room we were upgraded to a penthouse...which gave my daughter and I comfortable space to operate out of. Their breakfast was awesome with lots of choices. Our stated purpose was to tour USC and the hotel was 7 min, away..very easy to access. recommend!!

Clerks had trouble figuring out how to charge Hotel.com. They waited on other customers in between making calls to Hotel.com. We waited in lobby for 1 hour before we were able to get into our room. This was a pretty basic spot to stay. For the price, it was fine. Nothing extraordinary to say, good or bad. Didn't use the pool, but it looked a little small and not particularly clean. A quick jump off the highway, a good price, and reasonable comfort with no frills (but no real issues either).

I thought with this Motel having the Ramada name, it would be a good place to stay. I am not usually a complainer, however, the room had filthy carpet with what looked like urine spots on the carpet. There was NO hot water in the shower, and the toilet had to be repaired by my husband to stop it from constantly running. There were also large roaches […] in the bathroom. They never offered to make amends or to change our room to another room!! This was the WORST experience I have ever had with a motel/hotel stay. My husband is a retired truck driver, and has stayed in a lot of places, but this one takes the cake! Don't stay here. Read more

Really the only thing this motel has going for it is its location right off the highway. Otherwise, it has very standard rooms, its like a down-scale Days Inn. Worst part was the breakfast. Cereal, toast and coffee were available, but there is only one table in the eating area, which is sitting right in front of the front desk in a tiny lobby. Totally […] cramped and unwelcoming. We stayed in several hotels on our vacation this year, and my kids even said please don't bring us back to this one.
