First note: This hotel is supposed to be undergoing significant renovations in the next year and a bit, so please understand that while I've rated the "room comfort" & "Hotel Condition" only 3/5, both should be much better in the future. For now, however, if you can get the East Tower, that should be better than the North Tower. Be advised, the beds in this hotel are kind of hard if my own experience and others I knew who stayed in other rooms' experience is any indication. The staff were very friendly, particularly the restaurant staff, and I had a great front desk person upon check in. The breakfast buffet is included with MOST (but not all) stays, so check the details of your reservation, particularly if you are booking as part of a group room block or with a third party. (NOTE: My booking with Hotels.Ca DID include breakfast.) Lots of parking, a big shopping mall (Kingsway) is close by and there is a supermarket (Superstore) within walking distance and a Canadian Tire right across the street. Access to the hotel is easy via the Yellowhead or Kingsway Ave. Plenty of free parking available.

Stayed for only one night but had a very good rest. The room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and accommodating. I would stay there again. There was also a continental breakfast for two included.

Elevators were no working proper always one down very poor maintained! Dunning room opened to 10 pm tried making us move to lounge with very poor eating tables. Tip included in bill already I wouldn't have left a tip other wise! Overall would not recommend that hotel!!!!!@!!!

It was a pleasant enough stay but i would strongly suggest that the hotel go by individual breakfast vouchers instead of 1 little card specifying the number of people that when collected leaves whoever is not yet up and about for breakfast and is treated like a free loader when she/he appears for the breakfast sans the other members of the group. Breakfast staff aren't the friendliest and that isn't good especially in the morning!

Worst hotel I have ever been in. The balcony door was unsealed which resulted in whistling howling wins all night. The thermostat was broken in the sense that the needle didn't move but you could adjust it however not knowing if it was more hot or cold and the stupid heater kept blowing out hot air. The staff said just turn off the heater so my kids and I could not sleep due to the very high heat.

I stayed overnight at this hotel and glad I only spent 100 on a single queen. The condition of the lobby/front entrance & dining area is quite pleasant. My room was on the 8th floor North tower. Once you got into the elevator that's where it ended. The entire floor is in need of a update or at least a freshening. My room appeared cleaned, but the windows were fingerprint/face smudged. The carpet felt disgusting on barefoot, but the bathroom appeared clean. The bed was extremely firm but doable. The windows were small enough but you could remove the panes to get more air. The air conditioner was turned off being it was loud and put off a unpleasant odour. And the view, was simply amazing. It faced the deconstruction of the old city airport. Nothing but a parking lot, construction vehicles and piles of torn up tarmack. I will not be returning to this hotel, but again you get what you pay for.

Very friendly helpful Front staff. Hotel needs some serious Reno! Still had tubeTv. Ratty furniture. It was non- smoking room, but my bathroom reeked of stale old cigarette smoke. hallway smelled of pot. Very unpleasant. Won't be staying at a Ramada again.

The hotel itself could use a little bit of fixing up. Our room was in the north tower and the elevators were quite slow. We got to our room and there was a strange odor in there.. almost like cigarettes. The cleaning staff also left a pair of rubber gloves in the room. We didn't stay in the room for long as we had to get ready and go out for an event. We got back that night and the water flow from the sink was very weak... and the sink was leaking underneath. As it was almost 1:00am, we were too tired to deal with it, and if we stayed for more than 1 night, we would have definitely contacted the staff. The bed was very comfortable however (which was what's most important right?). Not sure if I would come back, but if I did, it would probably only be for one night

Room was extremely hot! We had to sleep with window open all night with a fan in March & still didn't cool down. Called front desk & told me to put the wall fan on. Still didn't work. TV's are old & remote won't work from bed. It seems there is a newer tower(east tower)which is nicer with more modern Tv's. If you book with Hotels they won't put you in one, they will tell you they are full up & only have room in North tower, which is the older one. Breakfast is very good but poor service!

Convenient location for a business meeting. Now that the old Municipal airport is closed it looks like the hotels in the area that relied on that trade are starting to get a bit run down, this place is no exception. The place was acceptable for what I needed. Breakfast buffet was good, room was clean and quiet. East tower (where I stayed) entrance has stairs instead of ramps at entrance, so if you have a lot of heavy stuff to move it's not the most convenient.

I have stayed at this hotel before and had a good experience therefore I stayed here again. Although it is a bit older, it's great for a short stay and the staff working there are great. The breakfast buffet is also a bonus.

I always stay here when I'm in town. The complimentary breakfast is great, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are generally clean and comfortable. However, the internet is absolutely atrocious. Of the 5 times I've stayed here I have NEVER been able to use the internet because speeds are prohibitively slow. Overall this hotel is great, but if you intend on being productive during your stay, I encourage you to look elsewhere.

This is hands down the most run down, aged, dirty, obsolete hotel I have ever stayed in. The service was slow and still in paper form. The room was absolutely awful. It smelled terrible, everything was outdated and old. I think the ramada needs to step In and review this hotel as I believe they would be horrified for this hotel to be a face of ramada

The room was incredibly hot and there was no blanket on the bed it was just two sheets with a flimsy scratchy brown blanket in between. We had to sleep with the window open all night otherwise it was unbearably hot. The hotel housekeeper was very good and kept our room nice and tidy. We went to the hotel mainly because I was at a conference all day and my boyfriend wanted to use the fitness room as a way to keep busy during the day - only one treadmill worked in the whole fitness room and there wasn't even a complete set of free weights, I wont be staying here again.

The stay met our needs. The continental breakfast was really good. The only problem was that Saturday night there was a party with load drunk people to 3:00am in the morning. I called the front desk and they took care of it eventually.

I like that it's quite inexpensive to stay here and it includes an amazing full breakfast buffet. We're not talking just coffee and a pastry. This is a very complete offering with many choices - both hot and cold - and plenty of high protein options. There was also lots of fresh fruit. I love the breakfast!

The staff at check in could use some training. I was I'll checking in and they gave us this speech about rules and partying at the hotel.....really??? So even though I said I was very car sick from the drive they didn't believe me. So we were put in the noisy part of the hotel. Otherwise it's good value for money and the location was perfect for us to be close to our family and close to shopping etc.

At check in the front desk clerk was being smart.He handed me a inclusive breakfast coupon for 1 so I mentioned to him that we had 2 adults in the booking. He rectified the coupon by adding additional person but did not recheck the reservation detail. I restated to him that my booking included 2 adults and 1 infant, to which he interrupted & stated that infants do not eat breakfast. I had to tell him that I am making sure he has the right information on the reservation details. That made him realize his mistake and then he reconfirmed that the booking indeed mentioned said details hence apologized. My point of sharing this experience is .. Before making statements check the booking details as it feels like the guest is a douche bag and you are embarrassing him. On a brighter note...the In room dining server, Breakfast staff and the check out front desk agent were fantastic !!! Lobby is beautiful but rooms need serious updating ( Stayed in a Executive Suite !! not up to the mark) This review comes from a seasoned hospitality professional who takes pride in working with this industry.

Front desk were very professional and accomodating. Room was ok and bathroom was very large which is nice with two people. Dining room staff very disorganized and had people sitting and then resiting someone else at their table when they went to get breakfast. Also coffee and utensils were not available, had to go get my own coffee cup in order to have a coffee.

The hotel charge my credit card before I arrived even though the reservation said pay when you stay. Staffs went into my room even when I have do not disturb sign hanging on the door. no info in the room to tell you where all the facilities are.

I forgot my cell phone, the staff was amazing. It was returned to lost and found and mailed to me. Very helpful and courteous service, I will definitely recommend your hotel and stay there again.

Took my boys to the anime convention. It was great to be able to stay right there so they had the freedom to come and go. Staff were very friendly, room was clean and comfortable, and the included breakfast was great.

They were under staffed in dinning area, for the group that were there. The room never got cleaned because of short staffing
