The room was wonderful but the pool and workout room was in poor condition and seemed sketchy. Everything else about the hotel was very good though. The location is convenient enough with cab rides to the Distillery district and entertainment district costing roughly $15.00 including tip.

Lovely hotel with very accomodating staff. Room was spacious and comfortable. Pool, jacuzzi and steam room were a welcome diversion from too much snow. Breakfast was almost too pretty to eat, but worth it!

This hotel was in a good location - walking distance to subway and shopping without being dead in the center of it. Price was fantastic. Size of room was surprisingly large and comfortable. We had 5 people in it and we were very comfortable! Bathroom could have been larger but I'm not complaining! We would go back in a minute.

The hotel is an old building that has been renovated. It was very modern and nice inside. Very clean. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking was $22/night with in/out privileges (underground). The room was large and not the typical rectangle shape. We had two queen beds and a sofa bed (we didn't use the sofa bed). The linens and pillows were very […] clean and comfortable. The beds sank in a bit in the middle, but were otherwise comfortable. The sofa bed was in an area with a coffee table and was facing another lounge chair with a flat screen tv mounted to the wall--it was nice having a sitting area separate from the beds. The room had a very large dresser and a closet. There was a coffee maker, but no fridge. The bathroom was very modern and clean, although it was small and had very little counter space. It had a stand-up shower that was quite roomy. The shower head was very high (good for tall people) with good water pressure. There was only one ice machine and one soda machine in the basement, although there was a convenience store right across the driveway. The indoor pool is located in a hotel that is attached to the Ramada via a walkway. There was a hot tub, sauna, steam room and a changing room. We had breakfast at Shade (in the hotel)--the food was mediocre. The pictures on the Ramada website are very true to how it looks in person. The hotel was very quiet. It was about a 15 minute walk to Eaton Center. Overall we were very happy with this hotel choice. Read more

Room and hotel were fine. The room was a little oddly configured - the bathroom was on the far side of the room from the door to the hallway, which meant that the bed was very close to the door. We stayed at the Ramada for one night. Overall the bedroom was nice clean and comfortable. The only complaint is that the building was old. Therefore, parking lot was small and the elevators were tiny and slow. The location is not wonderful but it is a short walk from the center.

The Good: Courteous and helpful front desk agents. They gave us directions, helped us book the bus tour and gave us toiletry items that we asked for. Conveniently to other places and is located across a park The Bad: My cousin and I booked a two room suite for two nights. The carpet throughout the suite was very dirty. Without the AC on the room smelled. […] We asked before we left the room in the morning that we needed the trash to be taken out, asked for towels, shampoo and coffee. Great Hotel and staff - had a group of 6 and we got double queens, pull out couch and an extra mattress on the floor, hotel staff does not bother you and is very fast with everything you request. Restaurant in lobby is very tasty.

Based on the price of this hotel, my wife and I were not expecting much but it turned out be a very pleasant surprise. The hotel room was very comfortable with an excellent bathroom. I would definitely recommend this hotel over all others in the same price range.

The air went out in are room both nights of are stay. Could not give us any money back because we booked through you. Room was dirty. Early morning staff very nasty to us. I would not rate this hotel above a 2.5 stars. We had two rooms carpet was stained and dirty in both rooms. The hotel did not have a ramp and you had to carry your luggage the stairs to enter the hotel. Hotel is a very basic hotel. 2 TVs, but only the old tube TV worked. A king size bed blocks the bedroom door from closing. underground garage is not good at all, but still charges a lot. the elevator is quite small - may only aloow 6 normal size persons with their bare hand.

A refrigerator would have been nice. There is a large grocery store near by for families who want a break from eating out on holiday. This hotel fit our needs for our family of 5, the price was right. It was nicely remodeled inside.

First of all when I got to the Hotel to check-in the service clerk was on his cellphone texting secondly my room got mix up with a queen room smoking when I booked for a NON-SMoKING ROOM with TWO QUEEN BEDS. How can you get this wrong? Once we got in the room I did reserve after spending 30 minutes at the counter because the service clerk did not seem […] to KNOW what he was doing. The room bedding was stained yellow and found a lot of human hair under neath the pillows which totally disgusted me. I called room service to get my bed changed after complaining they sent someone to change my bedding. I cannot list everything that went wrong I will NOT ever book a room at this hotel.. Read more

Really a very nice hotel. The building was older but well maintained. Our room was clean, spacious, and nicely furnished. The parking garage was convenient. The restaurant was pricy and not really for kids but there was a coffee shop and diner around the corner and a small food mart nearby.

The hotel was conveniently located to downtown. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice. The restaurant was a joke. We tried to go one night but there was nobody there ( yes, it was open). Room was quiet at night and comfortable. Housekeeping didn't come until almost 4pm after we had spent the whole day out, so we skipped the cleaning.

Was originally booked at a higher rated Downtown Toronto hotel. This room was cheaper and nicer. Plus it had air conditioning. The higher priced/rated hotel had their a/c turned off for the season and it was very warm for the time of year. I don't like having the option to make my room to my comfort level. Very convenient to public transportation, especially if you use the streetcar to go to the metro station. Suggest having exact change ($3) first time and getting a transfer. Then buy discount passes at the station.
