"A place to stay"
I was very pleasantly surprised. This Ramada had a coin laundry, an excerise room, tennis courts and pool. Much more than expected. The free WiFi was a nice touch but very SLOW. I don't think the network could support the number of users when the hotel was busy becasue it worked much better on Sunday when the parking lot was empty. Internet does not work or works very rarely and intermittently. They should get another provider or get something to boost wireless or not advertise internet at all. Breakfast requires a breakfast ticket issued on check-in which screams of security issues or issues with people coming of the street to eat, but I prefer if one or two people from the […] street get free food than cause hundreds of people to have to present ticket. "Think twice about staying here."
Room wasn't ready when we arrived, we were told to come back in 45 minutes. When we went back, was told that we needed to wait another 1.5 hrs. Okay, so we finally get checked in and we go to the room and it hasn't been cleaned. Maid told us to return o the desk. We were to have a king room but now we were given a double. Room smaller and more cramped. […] Someone called us about an hour later to inquire about our room. When I told her that it wasn't the type of room that I had reserved, a king, her response was that all of the rooms were booked and this was the only room available. She was at least polite compared to the guy who checked us in at the desk. he was extemely rude. The second day we are there, we find out that the pool would be closed due to painting. It was supposed to have been done in the early morning but the painters did not show up on time. Pool opened by 2:00 pm but the sun only was there until 4:00 because of the pool location. This was disappointing. We are in Florida for the warm days and now no pool. Hotel is mainly a holding place for cruise travel. "Not happy with what we paid"

"OK place to stay."
The place is clean, but the carpet in the hallway is a bit worn out. The free continental breakfast requires a voucher, and not everyone in my room gets to have it which was not posted on Expedia (some guests apparently don't even get any voucher, depending on what offer they got at time of booking). The selection of breakfast was pretty basic, bagels, […] cereals, some bread and pastry, but no eggs, pancakes, nor waffles. And the clerk at the front desk forgot to give me the ticket at checkin, I had to talk to them after. The same or another clerk also gave my room (by mistake) to another guest, but luckily I was not in the room when they came, and I had to wake them up at 1:00am to find this out. The management finally got it straightened out though, after being confronted by the angry guest who was given the wrong room (my room). I felt sorry for the manager. It was a one-nighter. No major complaints. However, I put in a wakeup call with the switchboard for 10 am and never got the call. I awoke at around 10:45, with no time to bathe and partake the Continental breakfast before 11 am checkout. I brought this to the attention of the shift manager and she had the dining room manager give me a coffee (bad tasting, […] but caffeine) and some unappetizing "pastries." I would not suggest that you do service with this company ever again. When i first arrived I was greeted with extremely rude serivce. Then i was asked to supply a credit card which I had already paid for the hotel in full, and then I had to pay a hidden fee of $10.00. I travel frequently for business and don't require too much extra attention to be happy. This hotel is not up to par for business overnights. The rooms are worn and not the cleanest. The room was a great price but, you get what you pay for. The room was for a handicap. No flat screens. The furniture looked like it was made pre-teen in wood shop. The breakfast is toast and cereal.
