The hotel was adequate and the location convenient for the event I attended. The price was reasonable. I appreciated the free continental breakfast. The breakfast room--an interior room without windows--is small and was crowded both days I was there. Alternate seating is in the more pleasant lobby with windows! Also at this Best Western, unlike at other BWs where I've stayed, the towels noticeably scratchy, not soft, are either old or require different laundering.

This might be the nicest hotel based right on the ocean at Ocean Beach. The staff was very helpful, the room immaculate, and the location second to none. I've stayed at a number of hotels in the area, but I won't stay anywhere but here in the future. You can't go wrong with an ocean front suite!

We needed a last min getaway for a few days to unwind and enjoy a romantic getaway. The hotel staff was awesome very friendly made us common folk feel like celebrities. Great service location and atmosphere . If your dog people you will love this hotel very pet friendly. We will be staying here again and bring our dog as well . The ac in the room was a lil uncopertive however the weather was perfect so not much use was needed. Room service food was great small portions but very tasty. Location is great have drinks on the. 9 h floor lounge and what the game from a spectacular view.

"Poway Ramada Inn"
The staff were extremely nice and very helpful. The room had paint coming off the walls and ceilings, the screens had big holes in them were people had broken into the room. Very nice location but it does need a freshening up.

Considering this is an older hotel, it is a nice place to stay. It is kept very clean and that is top priority to us in a hotel!

I liked that it has microwave, fridge, tv, hair dryer, iron etc. It has all the stuff even a coffee maker. Dont forget free breakfast. They have a waffle maker pretty good. Room was clean and I think for the price I paid it was really good compare to others.

If you need to stay in the Poway area this is a good location. We decided to staycation for the weekend in Poway since we would be at a party in the area on friday. The surrounding area is nice, a library and police station, multiple gas stations, and a good amount of restraunts. A walmart relativly 5 minutes driving east and a target about 5 minutes […] north. The hotel itself isnt flashy or luxurious but the rooms were clean no bugs stains or crubling walls. Rooms and bathrooms well maintained if outdated. The blankets werent much to speak of though, the second layer was more like foam and the top quilted layer itchy. We love to stay at places that serve diy waffles and this place did. "Okay place to stay"
I have stayed here twice recently and based my choice on location and price. The hotel is presentable, but is in need of some maintenance. The toilet would not stop running in my room and the drain plug in the tub was broken, so taking a bath was not an option.

"Perfect"

"You don't want to stay here."
As we arrived a man appeared on the upper level wearing a full hazmat suit including breathing mask. We could see a large air vent tube and hear an exhaust motor running at full force. The carpet in our room looked like something you would see in your dogs outside house. The heater/air conditioning unit was so noisy we turned it off and slept in the […] cold. "Ramada"
The hotel was nice and I would stay there again. The only thing was the hot tub was broken and that is one of the main reasons we stayed there. It is very quiet and the breakfast was awesome.
"Not quite what I expected"
It seems a little older and run down than the pics, probably from several years ago. Was very clean, everything worked, was pretty quiet, and the staff were nice. It's OK for staying overnight if you're passing thru.

we were very impressed with the size of the room, the comfort of the bed, cleanliness of the room and the friendliness of the staff. we will gladly stay here any time.
Great breakfast area, need to clean around pool and hot tub area, lot of cigarette butts, and ants around the hot tub area. Pool was very cold and we couldn't use it. It was October and maybe they don't have a working pool then. The bed was confortable We like the location. .

Stayed here for a week while I was waiting for my apartment to become available. It was very quiet and clean - mostly families on vacation. The service was great, and the price was good. Free Breakfast was good, and free newspapers. Everything was clean except the carpet, which was dirty and greasy and kind of disgusting. I suggest they clean the carpets more frequently, which would make me recommend it.

We needed a place to stay that was close to some other events we had going on in the general area. We checked out other hotels as they were cheaper, and we found out why they were so much cheaper! "Needs Upgrading"
Rooms are average,A/C is too noisy,way too loud to run all night even onlow. Tub is dangerously slippery,it needs some friction tape before someone falls while stepping into shower and hurts themselves especially the elderly.

They were nice enough to let us check in a little early since we'd arrived before 3, but we didn't have room keys until hours after check-in because their machine wasn't working. During our stay, the hotel was under construction so there was constant noise (banging of hammers, drills, shouting construction workers) and the place was filthy (inside […] AND out). Bare feet turned black after walking on the carpet for just a couple minutes. It was disgusting. We ended up putting towels down on the ground to get around the room. Plus, the room smelled awful. It was a non-smoking room, but smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and mold. Unfortunately we were only able to keep the windows open for a short period of time because there were no screens and lots of bugs. Also, housekeeping came into our room despite the Do Not Disturb sign on the door. It was conveniently located, super close to the 15 and lots of different restaurants & stores. "Ramada Inn in Poway"
The room looked old and run down. The bathroom had mold and mildew all over it and the bathtub faucet was leaking. The furniture and bedding were old and battered looking. This place needed a major renovation. It also did not feel safe. We actually checked out a few hours after checking in and received a full refund from Hotels.com.

Staff were very accomodating. Front desk and housekeeping staff did above and beyond what was expected of them. Room clean. Microwave, refrigerator, and safe in room. Would recommend to anyone.

"It Works"
This is an older facility, but the rates were lower as compared to other motel/hotels closer to Mira Mesa. I have had better breakfasts. The staff was very polite and efficient. The room was clean with the exception, we found hair on one of the hand towels. The bed was comfortable and the location is quiet.

"Perfect Location"
I can not even fathom why anyone would give this hotel less than 5 stars. Although it is pretty basic, the desk clerks, hotel room service, and area is all excellent. I would recommend this hotel highly....just a few minutes from the I15,makes everything ie: beaches, mountains, zoo, etc., very accessible. Clean inside and out.

The San Diego Ramada Poway hotel is conveniently located to San Diego, Escondido and the surrounding area. Seconds off of I-15 and surrounded by plenty of food, shopping and other amenities.
