The room faced a bowling alley with bright sign lights and late closing hours and the blinds do not close on the window!!! The curtain rod is fastened to the ceiling every six inches so curtains only move 6 inches and stop. Had to try sleeping with bright lights and noisy drunken patrons in the parking lot smoking and talking loudly. Facing another […] direction might not be so bad but curtains that barely move??? The breakfast staff were very good, ensuring we had some extra yoghurt & bananas for our 2 year old. Its too bad the hot tub pump had failed the day before. We would have stayed in the pool longer if it was a couple degrees warmer - it wasn't cold, and with activity was OK, but the little guy couldn't stay in as long as he otherwise would have. Loved this hotel and we'll be back for sure. We were in town for shopping, some medical appointments and to just plain relax. All accomplished and we actually looked forward to heading back to the room every night. It was all right. The exercise room was being renovated - which was inconvenient. The pool was nice though. Breakfast was fairly generic and could've used some ripe fruit - there was an abundance of carbs though... oh and our hairdryer didn't work - the one time I didn't bring ours. lol

We were awe struck when we walked into the hotel. Everything was spotless. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful with any inquiries we had. We then ventured down to our room and it was spotless. The layout was double the size of any normal hotel room. I understand that when this hotel was refurbished they took every three rooms and made them into […] two. I love the rooms in the tower. Haven't stayed in any other rooms within the hotel but if they are anything like the tower rooms, they would be great. Very comfortable bed and well appointed rooms for work or pleasure. The lounge and restaurant are excellent with great service and fine food.

Blackout curtains are designed to NOT close…with the room looking out on a bowling alley. The curtain rod is suspended from the ceiling at about 16" intervals by fixed supports. The curtains CANNOT close. What I thought was a hair dryer running was actually the heating system for the room. And the toilet ran non-stop unless the handle was jiggled.

This was an overnight stay en route to our final destination. While the room was comfortable enough, we found the bathroom to be a bit small and awkward to maneuver around in. We were travelling with two seniors and found it inconvenient that there was no elevator as well.

Staff was very pleasant. We were joined on this trip with 2 other couples. When we chedked in we asked the desk clerk if our friends had checked in. They had not. Without our knowledge the clerk gave them rooms next to ours, which we really did appreciate. Very thoughtfull of the desk clerk to do so. The restaurant in the hotel was amazing!!! The first night was great (June 30th) 2 nd night July 2 was o.k. trouble with air conditioner being very noisy had to sleep with ear plugs, frig had been started to be defrosted and then was left. Had a mess of water to clean up.

My fiancé and I had a great time at this hotel in Sault Ste Marie. It was our first time here and we were welcomed really well. The service at the lobby was nice and friendly, the hotel itself looked very updated and was impressive. Our room was very comfortable! The bathroom was nice and clean even though the toilet flush was really slow and you would […] have to hold the handle down in order to flush fully. our bed was comfortable and helped us have a great sleep. It was great to have a convenient plug outlet and outlet for our iPhones. Breakfast was great but the layout of the buffet was awkward in a way that had people not knowing if they were able to skip towards the hot dishes while others in line were getting yogurt and cereal. There was just a lot of confusion and slowed down the line. The restaurant was amazing and the staff were very friendly and prompt. Appetizers and the amount of food you get is great! You get both bread and salad with your entree and the calamari was the best I've had. Being on the #4 building was great on the 5th floor but it took awhile to get through to the lobby and you had to walk through a maze in order to get to the lobby. It's not a huge deal but it'd be nice to have it be a little more convenient. Overall it's a great comfortable hotel and with its upgrades and renovations you would've never expected such upgrades for the price you pay! Great deal for sure. Read more

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff greated us upon arrival and made us feel welcomed. The only thing I would negatively have to complain about was the breakfast nook area in the dining room where we had breakfast. It was self serve and the counters were not kept clean. The only negative thing i encounter was on my last night, there was a couple of kids playing londly in the hallway from about 1930 to 2300.
