Ramada Hotel and Conference Centre - Cornwall

This hotel was good value, well located in Cornwall. They are about to begin renovations on the common areas of the hotel. It would seem that the rooms have already been renovated. The continental breakfast was well organized and delicious.

hotel in good location rooms are being upgraded, breakfast -muffins and pastry could be a lot fresher. seemed to be stale and dried out.would be nice to see bacon or sausage along with scrambled eggs added to the free breakfast as comfort inn & suties had it included in theirs when i stayed in michigan in aug and sept 2011.

Don't let the title scare you too much but our first 2 rooms smelled like a urine/musty combo. Foul, foul, foul. However, the gracious woman at the front desk did do her very best to get us a room that was satisfactory to us and on the third try, with a complimentary upgrade to the 2nd floor (the room was exactly the same but apparently the 2nd floor […] is an upgrade), we landed in a non-smelly room. But the TV was crap. The power button on this 15 year old beauty was stuck pressed in and the tv kept shutting off every 10 sec until I realized what the problem was and pried it out with a pen. Once we got settled, we went to the hotel restaurant for a nice dinner after an 11 hour drive, or should I say, we were hoping for a nice dinner after an 11 hour drive. About 10 minutes after we sat down, the bartender/waitress tore herself away from her only bar customer to walk in our direction with 2 menus. After an overpriced, greasy meal, we retired for the night. The room was outdated but we were only there for the night so it served its purpose. Also the woman at the front desk gave us a complimentary breakfast which we decided to pass on after our dinner experience, but we appreciated the gesture. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel but if you need to bunker down for one night and aren't picky and want a non-smoking hotel, stay here. Read more

The hotel is in very poor condition for the prices they charge. They seem to be concentrating on the wedding reception business rather than the average visitor. We won't definitely not stay there again.

The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the continental breakfast was good. Our room was next to the cleaning room so we heard the ladies taking out their carts and getting ready early each morning.

Upon arrival, quick check-in, no bellhops available for luggage. AC on the second floor was downright fridgid. Did not use the pool as it did not appear to be in the best of shape, sure could use some maintenace. Outside fountains with cigarette butts everywhere including in the fountain, perhaps a buttstop nearby could be helpful. The wedding party should have been assigned their own part of the hotel for the peace and quiet of other guests who desired to get a decent nights rest. Totally inconsiderate on the part of the hotel staff and partaking guests. Dinner at the restaurant was okay, chicken and shrimp was good vegatables undercooked. it's a good 3 star chain hotel. I've stayed there often and have never had a complaint. A possible problem for people with walking disabilities is that the hotel is really spread out over two floors. Also, there is no elevator. So, if that poses a problem, make sure you get a room on the main floor, close to the reception area. If you go, take a swimsuit, […] as there is a nice indoor pool. The hotel neeeds to have a lift to the second floor for people with mobility issues and such people also need to have priority placement in rooms easily accessible to the restaurant and the pool facilities.

Very courteous and friendly staff. Although there is no elevator to the second floor and a long long walk to our room, the hotel was great. This hotel may not be ideal for those who need wheelchair access or seniors. We did not get a place to sit in the breakfast area, so we had to eat in the lobby lol. The exterior gardens were nice and the room interior was clean and spacious. Need to replace T.V.'s to newer models. The hallways, stairs & doors needed repairs & updates. Carpeting in stairwells had an odour and needed cleaning or replacing.

Super clean. Very well catered breakfast. The ladies kept things neat and well replenished. The rooms were very neat and modern. The drive to the reception is easy to miss, but after a quick turn around, we arrived at our destination. The pool looked especially inviting, but our time in the morning was very limited, so we could not indulge.

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise as we were forced to stop there during a snow storm we had no idea what to expect. Rooms were very comfortable, lobby , resatuarnt etc are very nice. Would definitley stay again if ever in the area

We have stayed at this hotel several times before - even when it used to be the Holiday Inn. We found the room nice and quiet and appreciated the new beds and updated bathroom. We didn't get to swim this time as I forgot my bathing suit but in the past, it has been enjoyable. We will probably stay again another time.

Not impressed. Sink in bathroom flooded the floor as there was a plumbing problem. To their credit the staff immediately switched us to another room. However this room had a heater with a very noisy fan. The fan could only be on or off, so you either had to shiver or put up with the noise. Also the furniture was all quite old with chips in the woodwork […] etc. On the plus side the buffet breakfast was not bad and the waitress was extremely friendly and helpful. Read more
