"Great hotel, close to cruise ship terminal"
A very nice stay before/after cruise. Easy walk to ship terminal even with luggage. Save the cab fare. Also easy walk to Sky train for easy transport to/from airport. Excellent staff. Always helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great customer service"
I love the hotel. Great service and great location. Eventhough the view from my room was not great I felt as if I was at home. Thanks for your great service. Keep up the great work.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"convenient location, friendly staff, good value"
Hotel is in a convenient location for those looking to visit Gastown, shop on Robson st, or visit Chinatown. Busses and shuttles to grouse mountain and the suspension bridge are only a few blocks away. Some of the immediately surrounding neighborhoods are a bit questionable - but I never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Hotel rooms are SMALL as are the […] beds...but the value and location are perfect for those looking to see the sights and plan on just using the hotel for a home base. Hotel staff were tremendous and incredibly friendly!!! They were accommodating and helpful...truly great service. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was a good value and very close to the Gastown/China Town districts, but bordering on some not-so-great areas. It is plenty safe, but just not an A location. The rooms were recently refurbished and very comfortable and you can't beat the price ... especially on Hotels.comGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Stayed two nights before heading out for a cruise. Perfect location. Breakfast was convenient. No complaints.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Vancouver in Summer"
Just a couple blocks from Gastown and and a few blocks the other way to the center of town. A very good price for the proximity to downtown. Nearing a seedy section of town but just a couple blocks away the hotels would be at least twice as much. Staff was efficient and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Front desk friendly"
My sister-in-law and I stayed at the Ramada one night before our Alaska cruise-tour. It is a beautiful, older, small facility renovated to retain its original charm. As much as we liked the facility, we loved the front desk staff. They were friendly, helpful, and happy. What a great start to an amazing vacation.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for a one nighter,as we did . Staff was very"

"nice hotel,excellent service"
The best thing about this hotel was the service the staff provided. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, assisting us in navigating the city with a minimum of fuss and expense. They were awesome! The hotel itself was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Great experience!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice, clean reasonably-priced hotel"
Hotel was clean, updated, comfortable, with friendly personnel. Breakfast was way better than expected. Close to downtown sights - especially Gastown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Very helpful!Genuine Expedia guest review
A friend and I were taking an Alaska cruise, leaving from Vancouver, so we chose to stay at this hotel overnight because it was conveniently located only blocks from the ship's pier. While the hotel is older, it is well maintained, our room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was very go […] od. "A couple blocks from Gastown/Canada Place"
This is a nice little place that was just a couple of blocks from Gastown and Canada Place. Gastown has a lot of restaurants to choose from, and Canada Place is the pier for cruise ships. A good continental breakfast is included, as was wifi. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed at the Ramada Limited 2 days prior to our cruise to Alaska. We didn't want to spend a fortune on some of the other waterfront hotels, so we chose the Ramada mainly because of cost and convenient location. Yes, our room was small, but clean. For the price savings, I can live with a smaller room which mainly used for sleeping after spending […] the day in beautiful Vancouver. We took advantage of the complimentary breakfast. It was a descent breakfast. It included hot items (eggs, meat, pancakes, bagles etc) as well as pastries, assorted cereals, coffee, milk and juices. The ladies attending the breakfast did a good job keeping the items stocked and the tables cleaned. And were friendly and helpful. We disembarked from our cruise in the morning and our flight did not take off until 11:00 p.m. My husband called the hotel after we got of the ship and asked if they could hold our bags for the day until we were ready to go to the hospital. They gladly helped us out and gave us suggestions on sites we could see. Some reviewers discourage staying at this hotel because of it's location. Their is a food kitchen nearby, so you might encounter some people down on their luck. We encountered homeless people in front of the downtown upscale($$$$$) waterfront hotels as well. Not once did we feel unsafe in either location. In fact, when we entered the Ramada hotel lobby, the door man was always there to welcome us back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great for Cruising"
The hotel staff was amazing! Very helpful and friendly. The hotel is kind of run down, but I slept great and the breakfast was really good. It was very close to downtown sights and we could also walk to the cruise pier. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Worth the Money"
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and you felt safe. The morning breakfast was good and food was fresh. The staff would recommend places to eat and visit.Genuine Expedia guest review
We were in town for a concert at the Queen Elizabeth Theater and the hotel was within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was prompt and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"within walking distance to cruise port"
great place to stay prior to sailing. it's about 4 blocks from the port, 2 blocks from great restaurants, and a 20 minute walk to Stanley Park. I would highly recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel, excellent service, area ok"
Stayed for four nights and was very happy with the hotel. It's a little dated, but the hotel and rooms are nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ok but nothing special, ended up skipping it a few times. The area is ok, mostly convenience and fast food stores and some homeless people/beggars. It is located very close […] to Waterfront and the main CBD so overall location is pretty good. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
If you just need a room to stay, this is a good basic hotel. The room was clean; continental breakfast was included. The front desk staff were very helpful. "Great Location and Customer Service!!"
We came up from Seattle for a romantic getaway and really enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Limited. The hotel's location is perfect because we took the train and were getting around on public transportation. We arrived before the 3 PM check in time and were able to store our luggage and go sightseeing. The friendly staff was even able to get us an early […] check in which was much appreciated. The bed was soft and comfy and we loved old decor of the room and building. We enjoyed the free continental breakfast too. Many hotels in Vancouver don't provide that anymore, which helps to save some cash of course :) The location is perfect for travelers without a car. All the major bus routes are within 1-3 blocks of the hotel. Definitely recommend!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent location - decent accommodations"
The location of the hotel is outstanding. It is only a few blocks from Chinatown, the Gaslamp District, and Canada Place. The shopping district on Robson Street is also walking distance. The hold is a bit old. There is a lot of street noise. Our window did not close so the noise was even greater. The heater kept the room warm. The room is very small, […] and the bathroom is even smaller. It was large enough for me and my wife because we were out and about almost all day. Breakfast is included, and is acceptable, but nothing special - the guest lounge where breakfast is served is small and gets crowded. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was walking distance from everything I wanted. I could walk to Gastown and Queen Elizabeth Theater. The bus/train station was two stops away on the Sky Train. "Very smelly hotel, but great location and service."
The whole hotel and room smelled stale and musty. The parking costs $25, and is valet only... other cheaper lots around, but did valet for convenience factor. Continental breakfast was pretty bad and they didn't even refill the meat tray halfway through breakfast. The one elevator is slow, so used the stairs the whole time. Worst part was getting connected […] to WiFi, which is included, but took about two hours to connect, and I am a VERY tech savvy individual originally from Silicon Valley (we are pretty much all IT gurus) so it was not me. The location was pretty good and service was very good. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cute Place for a Weekend In the City"
The hotel is a bit dark, with barely any windows to let in sunlight, but it is also elegant and romantic. The vintage charm was wonderful.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Super Friendly Staff, but dingy building"
The hotel was within close walking distance of the main points of interest in Vancouver. Parking was difficult because the valet drop off point is in a bus lane. The Hotel room was small and a bit dingy, but clean and comfortable enough. The staff was really nice and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Exactly what we needed--nothing more."
Visiting friends in GasTown, we just needed a safe and comfortable place to crash and this hotel was perfect. It is within a few blocks from all the bars and restaurants of GasTown, and just up the street from the Waterfront transit station where you can catch SkyTrain and other transportation methods. If you have a car you will have to get creative […] to avoid the $25 valet parking fee, but it's not impossible to find overnight parking if you're willing to walk a few km. Great location, helpful staff, clean room and comfortable bed.Genuine Expedia guest review
The only problem we had was the queen bed was really 2 twin beds put together with a topper and surface street noise trash pickup was very loud, even with the windows closed. It was sufficient, a place to stay the night, but nothing special. It was quite a walk from the nearest Skytrain station, and the area surrounding the hotel is kind of seedy. The hotel is in a old building; it's in contrast to the tall, newer condo building next door. TV reception was not very clear. For the price, I expected a little more than what […] I got. it was greatGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Convenient neighborhood; a lot around, very convenient to Gastown. Service friendly and helpful. Decor a little dated but it is an older hotel; no big deal. Good products in the bathroom, plenty of room for one traveler, may be a little tight for two. Decent view, noise level not bad at all for downtown. Bed was very comfortable! Soft fluffy thick pillows, […] smooth sheets, and duvet. I slept well. :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient location but what was that smell??"
This hotel is only a 4 minute walk to the Waterfront train station so it is super convenient. The rooms were comfortable, albeit small, and the hotel provides free wifi and breakfast, which is a definite plus! It's also affordable. My only complaint was that when we got back to the hotel one night, the hallway to our room smelt sooooo bad, I can't even […] describe it! The people walking down the hall had some pretty interesting descriptions for it though (we could hear them clearly through the room door). "Great Staff , OK Hotel!!!!!!"
First everyone of the staff we came in contact with was SUPERB!! it is probably the best staff I have ever found in a Hotel they were GREAT can't say enough about them THANK YOU. Now the Hotel was very loud we had a room near the stairs the noise from people in the halls was very loud just their normal talking voices, walls are thin this was our biggest […] complaint we were there to vacation and rest but people were up at 6am for breakfast and woke us. The breakfast is not great it is a continental for sure. The surrounding area has a lot of places within walking distance for food good place next door and they give you a 10% discount if you are staying at the hotel. If you are taking the train from YVR take it to the Water Town station and walk up Richards St the Hotel is very close 2 blocks we would stay If you stay just know the hotel is old and noisy but the beds are comfortable Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
PROS: nice staff, heater worked great in room, friendly valet ___ CONS: extra $25/night for parking, old room had sloping floors, thin walls, can hear other guests thru thin walls, fixtures like shower curtain was mounted bad, so wouldn't stay closed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and cozy....:)"
Nice old hotel that has been redone with charm. It is very clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and nice. The location is easy access to all downtown, the skytrain, and bus stops. It is about a ten minute walk to the convention centers. The only "down-side" is that the blocks right around the hotel are a little run down - not scary or unsafe […] - just not sparkly upscale like most of the city center of Vancouver. I really liked the hotel and would happily stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel within walking distance of the cruise ship we arrived on. This hotel fit the bill. Hotel is a bit dated but it is clean. Great location, two blocks from Gas Town and lots of Resturants nearby. Hotel staff were very helpful and more then eager to answer your questions, esp. Mina and the morning staff. Nice clean hotel. Very good location in the center of Vancouver downtown. Very friendly staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
The staff was terrific.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The walls were very thin and obviously not insulated.
