Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort - Fort Lauderdale

This Hotel was nice, clean, great location. It's right on the beach and there are plenty of shops and restaurants to walk to as well. My only issue was, it would have been nice if they provided their guests with chairs and umbrellas on the beach.

great location, maintenance on the hotel was really good. The tiki bar needs more options premium liquor options and better ingridients for their frozen drinks. Pina Coladas where awful, cheap ingredients.

The first room we checked into was not cleaned but they quickly gave us another room . Overall the stay was great and let us have a late check out with a low fee of extra $60 so we didnt need to rush out for our flight bAck to New York

Air condition didnt work, they replace it in the middle of the knight. Could not sit ouside on the balcony becouse of the smell coming out of the kitchen. Activity rental people were very rude. Always had a problem with people setting their own umbellas.Probably would not stay there anymore.

room was generally clean and comfortable and service was good. Amenities were nice, but there should not be an extra charge for the mini-golf on the 2nd floor roof. Ask for a room on the southside of the hotel to get a better ocean view.

Lobby is about as nice as this hotel gets. There was a drunk guy siting out front in a wheelchair(my guess was probably homeless) very dirty and asked me if I was lost as I entered the hotel. Customer service guy abrupt and rude. Oh and they charge $12/night to park your car in their shoddy parking spot. Get to the room and it looked moldy...least the […] carpet did. Tried open the door to the balcony and that didn't work. Had to call a few times before they sent a repair guy. At this point I'm not at this hotel even 30 whole minutes. The repair guy came was also rude. Tried fix it. Didn't say if it was fixed or not as he left even though I asked...only to hear a knock at the door within 10mins of him leaving. This place was nice and everything about it screamed romantic from the ocean view to the balcony to the soft huge beds. The only thing I didn't like was the small bathroom but it was still worth the stay for a great price. Location is excellent! Staff is great!!!!

I spent 3 nights at the Ocean Sky resort during what was supposed to be Spring Break week and was bored to death. Their poolside tiki bar closed down before 10 all 3 nights and the hot tub was pretty much empty every night. I had breakfast and for 2 eggs, juice, coffee, sausage, toast and home fries the bill was $17. They charged $2.45 just for coffee […] where most hotels have coffee free in the lobby. We particularly enjoyed the warm pool and jacuzzi. Location is great: on the bus lines, across from Mcdonalds, near grocery store, ice cream & Dunkin donuts. plenty of towels. Weak points: need better mattresses, no small table on balcony, could have used more counter space electrical outlets

I looove this hotel.. I stay here every January for a business trip. It is nice when the staff recognizes me when I pull up. They have made many improvements since my last stay here. The location is good. Lobby and common areas are beautiful and nicely kept, but our room was very small and the walls are so thin we could hear people talking and the TV in the rooms on either side. Staff are responsive to any problems. Overall, for the money, we were not impressed.

Slightly below average. Staff were just "there", and service was not provided, but needed to be requested. With all the rooms which appeared available (my opinion based upon the available parking spaces, and lack of people traffic in and about the hotel), we get roomed next to guests who continually smoked on the balcony.

The hotel was an older building in need of repair. Staff had poor service, except concierge which were very friendly. Location was great, as it was beachside. Excellent window view. Comfortable beds. This is a hotel for people that will use the hotel to sleep only, which was what I did, as the rate is tough to beat.

This was a very good hotel! It is clean and gave me the best view of the ocean that I could get. The beach was clean and the facilities were good. It was better than the Westin hotel close by. Worth the money!!! Don't try the Restaurant in the hotel; its pathetic!! Otherwise it was a great stay!!!

My bed was lumpy and the room was very old and outdated. The shower and bathtub were full of rust, I skipped using them all together. The hotel is not current with technology so check-in took a long time while they had to manually find my reservation and make physical copies of my id, etc. The staff was extremely friendly.
