Stayed in a two bedroom suite for three nights. PROS: Good location and value, suite layout great. CONS: Laundry truck would load/unload right outside for 30+ minutes every night at 3 AM (it was very loud and we couldn't sleep because of this), doors between all the rooms were on a spring that made them take 30 seconds to close, then at the last second […] they would slam shut (exceptionally annoying), the carpet and walls of the living area were very worn and need replacement, the dishwasher and phone did not work and were never repaired despite our requests. In mitigation, the manager compensated us with free breakfasts. If this hotel could pay a bit more attention to detail, it would deserve its 3-star rating. Read more

The size of the room was ok and the was clean, There is quite a number of parking space. It is a big hotel and there is a long corridor in each floor, There is a lot of people walking outside your room from time to time. The creaky corridor floor made you quite uneasy. The food choices for breakfast was limited.

The hotel was on a direct bus line to Eyre Square and much less expensive than more central hotels (you could also walk but it's a hike). The pool and fitness area was outastanding but crowed as was the pub, the locals enjoy the pub for sporting events. Hotel staff as attentive as at a 5 star hotel.

Overall not bad/not good. Just an average hotel. Though I do think if you have kids it would be above average because I'm surprised they let adults in this hotel its so kid friendly. Don't get me wrong I like kids but I'd like to drink a beer at the bar at near 11 at night without 20 screaming kids around me. Pros: Check in/check out easy. So I would only stay here if you have about 2 to 5 kids. Bar staff is slow and not very nice (especially based on Ireland standards where even the bus and cab drivers are nice there) Nothing near hotel except one pub and one store (centra, which is a way better corner store than anywhere in the states!) so just keep that in mind. And the food and drinks are pricey at the hotel. You can only eat in one location of the room which is lame. You have to pay to use a computer and it is SLOW. (they have wifi but my phone wasn't working for a certain site I needed so I paid 1 euro every 8 minutes I believe but the computer was so slow that I couldn't do what I needed anyway. TV and channels out of date. We aren't really TV people but just so you know. *A friendly reminder. When traveling to the UK/Ireland make sure you bring your swimmers cap because you have to wear one to go in any pool. Read more

The Leisure Club is the best part of the hotel. The rooms were very disappointing. There was no WIFI in the rooms and the WIFI in the lobby could be tempermental. It was also hot with no way to control the temperature of individual rooms. The beds were less than comfortable with very flat pillows.

I cannot fault this hotel. It should really be a 4*. From the moment we arrived it was stress free. The parking is free and right outside the door - reception and staff were lovely - room extremely spacious, clean and well equipped - bar and restaurant excellent - very child friendly and very good value for money. Very helpful staff, We had three rooms (room only) booked but one couple was unable to make it at last minute notice but eventhough we knew we were unable to have the fee returned for that room, management upgraded the other two rooms to Bed and Breakfast. Very much appreciated. Location is very close to the town and rooms are very clean.
