For the price you'll pay, this almost surpasses the expectations. It's conveniently located right off the interstate, and the area is very peaceful. The rooms were perfect, and you have access to anything you need. I would recommend it, and would also stay again given the chance.

A really good value: For the cost, the hotel was clean, well-maintained, and had very good service, the rooms were well planned and comfortable, and the convenience to Memphis spots was perfect for us (you do need your own car to drive around).

Not the cleanest hotel I've stayed in. Lobby was locked down at night had to do everything through a glass, slot just wide enought to get card through. That being said, the breakfast was great. I would stay there again.

Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Room was big. Bed was in need of replacement and we had to haul all of our stuff up the stairs-no elevator. Good selection of restaurants nearby.

Great hotel!! Appreciated the staff answering our request for adjoining rooms! The rooms were nice and clean and smelled fresh! The location was perfect as it was close to most of our Memphis sight seeing locations. We were, however, very dissappointed in the breakfast!! Location was close to attractions we visited. Very nice and spacious room with up-to-date room amenities. Breakfast was good. Street noise/parking lot noise was rather loud due to doors being open to parking lot but that was mostly due to lack of respect for other hotel goers for making that much noise with their diesel trucks in the morning.

I've stayed here several times on trips through Memphis. It's a nice little hotel for the price. It's clean, in good repair, comfortable, and the staff is nice. It's also right off the highway which is good if you are passing through. The neighborhood is very suburban.

We were visitng family at St. Jude's and just needed a place close by but outside of Memphis to stay for two nights. Much better place than the one I chose last time in West Memphis, AR. Friendly staff .... good free breakfast .... and only 10 min. from downtown Memphis. Clean rooms, very comfy beds. My only main complaint was the walls seemed a little […] thin (i.e. I heard people outside at 1 in the morning who had just pulled in and were unloading. They weren't necesarilly loud there just isn't much soundproofing in the rooms) But ither than that it was a great stay and my wife will stay there whenever we decide to go back to Memphis. Everything about our experience was wonderful. We didn't get into to town until very late in the evening and were exhausted. The front desk clerk had everything ready for us waiting, so there was no hassle and we were able to get into our room right away. The location and price were perfect! The room was marginally clean, not gross, but not really clean. We were heading out on the first leg of a trip from Mobile AL to Seattle and Southaven was a convenient spot for the first night. Beds were comfortable, towels were thin and of poor quality, but we were just interested in a one night stopover so it was adequate. This was a perfect hotel for our overnight stay while visiting Memphis. It was close to all the Memphis attractions we wanted to see. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. I loved the pillows! The room was cozy and had nice decor. It was quite homey. The only real downside was that there was a crack under the door, so we got a small draft and heard a lot of the outside noise. We stuffed some fabric along the crack and it was just fine.
