My wife and I enjoyed everything but the toilet. Pushing the button to flush was like setting off a bomb. Someone flushing in the middle of the night wakes the whole room. If I owned the hotel I would change the toilets ASAP. Then I would raise the rates few bucks and have the best motel in the area.

For the price I was ver not happy with this hotel, I've seen nicer super 8 hotels than this. Don't get me wrong about other holiday inn's though. They're normally very nice. Just not this one.

We booked this place out of town thinking it was in the nicer area for cheaper. I never have a bad stay at Holiday Inn Express. They are usually all the same and never that impressive but a safe bet. This place is a refurbished hotel that is not up to standards of HIE. We were on the first floor and opening the door it felt muggy and even the towels […] were wet. The weather outside was not this way so why in our room. The bed felt old and worn out. Just a dirty feeling inside. My wife wanted to leave and stay somewhere else but we were stuck here. Very dissatisfied. Then they charged me for the hotel night even after they knew it was prepaid on Hotels.com. Annoying. Read more

Hotel was nice and in a good location. It was close to everything. The only bad thing was that the 2nd floor, where we stayed on, smelled in the hallways. The room was fine but the hallway smelled. Other than that it was a nice stay and I would recommend it to anyone.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel older, but comfortable. Even though a non smoking facility there is still the odor of smoke, especially in the hallway. Free breakfast okay, sufficient choice. The hotel is close by the interstate, so it's an easy run into Nashville or to the Cool Springs area (shopping and restaurants) and is close to the historic sites in Franklin. The suite we had was nice and spacious for a family of three (my wife and 18 month old daughter), with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, etc. all in good working order. The only […] problem was that when we checked in there was a brownish/yellowish liquid that had apparently been sprayed or slopped on the bathroom door and not cleaned up before our check in. Not sure what it was, but we informed the front desk and they sent someone to clean it up. Other than that, the room and hotel were reasonably clean and the maid service pretty quick and efficient. The breakfast bar, with hot pancakes and eggs, sausage, etc. was a nice touch. Didn't get to use the indoor pool at all, but it seemed nice. We may be back next year. Read more

I booked 2 queen non-smoking rooms for my sisters, daughter and niece to meet in Nashville and visit. We wanted to stay in the Cool Springs area. We meet in Nashville often to shop and visit. The hotel was not crowded. We were given rooms on the 3rd or top floor. Upon reaching the third floor our first impression was an overwhelming cigarette smoke […] stinch that hung in the 82 degree air. (The air conditioner at our end of the hall registered 82 degrees). We were given the last 2 rooms on the hall. The rooms were adequate but in need of repairs (towel rack falling off wall in our restroom, water damage with hole in caulk in the other bathroom). I asked manager about smoke when we left for dinner only to be told that the hotel had only 2 smoking rooms and they were on the third floor. We never saw another guest on the third floor but the smoke prevailed. I mentioned the situation to the manager when leaving and she made no comment. Neither apologized. I remarked that we requested no smoking rooms and never thought we had to request no smoking halls or floors. The personel we encountered in the breakfast area were delightful and very concerned about our comfort and needs. The two managers displayed neither. I did not request to move and did not make a scene. Our previous Holiday Inn Express experience was in Memphis, Tennessee in October 2011 and we were most pleased with the facilities and customer service. Read more

Great stay! Loved the location of this hotel and the extremely friendly staff. Will definitely be booking this hotel again on our next trip to the Franklin area. Clean rooms, comfy beds, good breakfast and nice pool.

This hotel was very clean and the breakfast had a lot of options. The staff was very courteous. My kids really enjoyed the pool and it was very clean. My only suggestion is that it would be helpful to have 2 people at the front desk, because I had to wait to check-in and check-out.

It was convenient to the function we were attending. The front desk gal was very nice and helpful, the room was clean, the breakfast buffet was hot and there was a lot of variety. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Please don't pay too much attention to the reviews that say that the hotel was shabby or the place was a dive etc. Don't know where […] those people tend to stay but this place was far from that. Needed a place near Franklin and interstate for several meetings. Location just fine. Problem was that hotel was full both nights and internet capacity incapable of handling full house. IT repair said the bandwidth was insufficient. Printer supplied by hotel was inkjet, and too slow for even a 5 page document. Would not recommend for business.

The hotel and room was very nice. The only complaint was that the hallway to my room had an odd smell. It was like someone had smoked a cigar in the hallway. The room however did not have that smell. Overall great stay at a nice hotel.

Once we found the entrance to the hotel, everything was great. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast area was kept clean and there was plenty of food. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. There needs to be better or more signage to locate the entrance.

We stayed at a lot of Holiday Inn's on a two week trip through the south this was our least favorite. Lobby is small and cramped. The room was OK, with the living/sleeping area nice and remodeled, BUT< the bathroom needed work with the chalking coming off and some mold.

Everyone at the hotel was extremely kind and polite. One gentleman even went to the trouble of driving ahead of us so that we could locate a store we were in search of to make sure we found our way. The breakfast buffet was not to my liking but it seemed that many of the other travelers really enjoyed it.
