The hotel/motel was great for the money. The building is older, but the room looked to have been recently painted in nice colors, and the room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was comfy, and the indoor pool was great after spending time in the car during the day. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. No complaints here.

The staff at the SpringHill Suites, went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We were greeted at the breakfast bar, and the hostess made sure we had a clean table to sit. We were looking for a good restaurant for dinner, and the front desk gave us several excellent choices to consider, and hints of where to park, and the quality of the food. WOW, is all I can say, we have never got service like that before at a hotel.

The room was very comfortable with all the amenities you could need. The hotel staff was friendly, courteous and helpful. Carla met us at checkout and Pesh was at breakfast making sure we had everything we needed and even helped with directions. The breakfast was delicious with hot and cold items. I can't say enough about my stay. Just very comfortable and clean. Hotel personel was so very nice making check-in so easy. I was in my room within 8 min. No disruptions as in some hotels. Make sure its Hamilton Place and not Shallowford. I dont know why its so diffirant.

For better reviews in the future, I suggest better hinges on doors (ours would not shut unless you pulled hard), quieter hinges (there were a lot of slamming doors - not on purpose from people, but from just coming and going), humidity control (our room felt damp), routine maintenance checks(curtain rod on one end was pulled from ceiling), and fumigation […] (it said non-smoking but it smelled like an old, damp ashtray when you first walked in). Bed was comfortable, bathroom was clean, staff was adequate. Eating area was way too cramped (only four little tables) for enjoying breakfast. In this day of recession, I want more for my money. It was adequate and ok for a quick overnight stay. Read more

Generally OK for the price. Door to small deck filthy. Too much loud talk between front desk guy and lady running the breakfast. They were talking about how much they disliked another staff member. But staff were friendly and helpful.
