All the hotels were booked where we normally stay on the Northeast side of Indy, so we booked on the Northwest side. The Extended Stay was quiet, convenient, beds comfortable, 2 office chairs at the desk to work for each of us. Would stay here again.

Hotel is clean and well located. The mattress was absolutely aweful however and I would suggest just stating they have bagels and coffee in the morning instead of stating they serve breakfast. I just needed some juice and it was nowhere to be found. That I am sure is why there were no guests using that service.

Hotel is old but that doesn't bother us as long as it's clean - but it was not clean here!! Crumbs on couch and pull out sofa. Stains on sofa matress. Bed had crumbs in it! Beer bottle caps on the floor. Asked for another room but "not available." Are you kidding?? Kitchen coated in grease and sticky. Long hairs in the bathtub. Breakfast is no good. […] Half-frozen, soggy bagels. No coffee in dispenser. States it is a non-smoking hotel but clearly smoking going on in the rooms. Only reason we stayed there is because it took dogs. Will pay to have someone watch my dog next time and get a better hotel. Will never go here again. Read more

The "free breakfast" is a joke! Worst I have ever seen! A few pre-wrapped muffins and coffee was it; no fruit, cereal, milk, or juice. Should just NOT list free breakfast at all. For our six year old, the fold out couch had no sheets or pillows and none were in the closet; had to get them at the front desk. Our queen bed felt like you were sleeping […] on a ski slope--the left side was higher than the right. Small suite and a little run down and outdated. No carport by the front office, had to unload the car in the rain. The back patio, pool, and lobby are nice--too bad the rooms aren't as nice. Read more

Although we had a very short stay at Homestead Suites we were very pleased with the friendliness of service at check in, the location of the room, the use of the pool. Price for family of 5 was very reasonable. We would recommend this Homestead location.

We expected much more from this hotel seeing that we paid a VERY HIGH PRICE for the suite. We arrived and there was only one worker, unavailable and away from desk. Our first suite the toilet leaked all over the ground and was so small and dirty. It smelled of smoke (non-smoking room) and dog hairs were all over the sofa. The hotel had just been switched […] to all non-smoking but no renovations had been done to clean out stale smoke smell. There was dirt and grime all over the floor. After waiting for 2nd room for an hour, it was double the size for the same room type. It was again outdated and dirty (even kitchen items). The AC unit & fan were so old that it sounded like a jet engine in our room and we had to turn off in the night to sleep. Everything was outdated, unclean, uncomfortable and extremely basic for even a basic hotel room. There was nothing "sweet/suite" about it at all. We would have left but it was Indy 500 weekend - we did contemplate sleeping in our car instead of the hotel. Other guests were angered at front desk and left while we waited to talk to staff member. Well, we booked this within the week before Indy 500. So, we had a lack of options. But, anything would have had a better bed for us to sleep on. It was HORRIBLE and we had the worst sleep. In fact, the bed had a deep slope right into the center and was hard. Our room was on the 3rd floor and had a weird layout, I guess. I stay at Extended stays, Staybridge, Homewood, Hyatts, Fairfield Inns, so nothing extravagant by any means. This Hotel seemed like it was a "rundown" hotel in past years, and then purchased, then refurbished.....but the refurb was not successful. The shower, shower head, door knobs, security door locks, thermostat, sink, and the most disgusting air […] circulation fan I've ever seen in the wall. The dishwasher door was crooked, and the refridgerator was not a place I wanted to put my food. The worst part was the pull out couch / bed...... the foam on top of springs that they called a mattress was thin and should not have been in a hotel. My 3 yr old son was suppose to sleep on it.....no way !!! The room was not something that should be recommended. But, the staff was friendly and helpful, very nice people in the wrong setting. DO NOT RECOMMEND if you want a clean comfortable place for your family. SORRY. Read more

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. The first room I checked into smelled of cigarette smoke, and it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Then second room I checked into had all kinds of food particles between the mattress and the box springs. After finding this in my bed, I proceeded to check out and find another hotel.

Convenient location to the interstate and nice area for shopping, restaurants, and coffee. I did hear some pounding footsteps upstairs, so I would recommend a room on the top floor. Overall, well worth the money.

I took my family to this hotel before a day at the Indianapolis Zoo. The rooms were very spacious and clean but although we booked a two bedroom room, there was only a comforter on one bed and the pull out bed had no sheets at all and there were none stored anywhere in the room. By far this was one of the worst experiences we have had for hotel accomodations. We booked the room mainly due to proximity to Indy Orthy as surgery was scheduled for 6 am the following morning and to save an 80 mile drive that early. The floor was damp and the room had a musty odor. 2 different size pillows on the bed. There were several flys in the […] room that we had to eradicate. The counter that served as a kitchenette table was about 1 1/2 inches lower on one end than the other. In the morning, we never did get hot water in the shower, just warm enough to suffice. What a shame as this is a nice building from the outside. The door closest to the outside (Southwest) would not close all the way making the premises unsecure. Had it not been so late checking in, we surely would have sought other accomodations. In speaking with the doctors at IndyOrtho, they were adamant that they do NOT recommend your facility to any of their patients. Prime location right off the expressway, in the middle of everything you need and across from a gas station. Great for a long stay. Will probably be booking here on our next trip to Indianapolis as well.

This hotel was terrible. The weekend staff apparently is running a party service for her friends, so they can swim in the pool and stay in the rooms. We had to leave late night due to the altercation with the other guests at the pool.

The last couple of convention seasons I have been looking into the extended stay options i.e. rooms with kitchens. I think I have found a location that meets all that I'm looking for. The rooms were spacious. And the Am/PM gas station next door had alot of the things needed to fill the fridge over my 3 night stay.

THis was the worst hotel I have stayed in in years. We went through four rooms in 24 hours. We ordered non-smoking, we got two smoking rooms in a row. The third we never got to, because it was supposed to be out of commission. THe fourth, did not smell, but the toilet seat came off in my hands, and despite the fact that the toilet paper was nicely folded […] (maid had been there), the toilet seat and lid had urine stains and hair stuck to it. When I showed it to the office staff, their response was, "I don't want that thing!" Oh yeah, I scrubbed the toilet (it was late), but the a/c did not work.
