The accommadations were clean. The beds were very comfortable. I found that all was good. Very reasonable and close to the Casino without driving. Only motel that would book for 1 night. Overall very good.

We played cards in the kitchen area as there were four couples and had a great time. Staff was so kind. We were there during the week. We wouldn't have done that if there were alot of people in that area.

I was fine with my stay until the morning I wanted to check out. I got to the lobby at 5:30 am and there was no one at the desk. I waited thinking the person might be in the back room getting breakfast ready. No one came out. coffee was ready so I had coffee and sat there waiting. finally at 5:56 I went to the door in the cafe and opened the door, one […] one there. I went behind the front dest to the door behine and knocked, no answer, opened the door it was dark no one there. I wanted to be on the road at 6 am. We booked through hotels.com and were not given the room we reserved. Overall the hotel was good, clean, and comfortable. The smell of pot in the hallway was a little strong when we came in to go to bed but to each his own, I guess. I would stay there again.

This hotel met my expectations and the staff were very friendly and accomadating. The room was clean and the hotel was right next door to the casino. If I had to complain about something, it would be that the bed was not as comfortable as I would have liked but it's a hotel, not home.

I was disapointed with Expedia, they were supposed to have booked a smoking suite, and that was what I was told I would have and paid for. Instead we had to take a different room,because ther was no smoking suite. Next time I will call hotel direct instead of using Expedia.

I rented this hotel because I needed an internet connection and thought it would be a clean, nice, and cheap option. I wasn't looking for luxury, but I wasn't looking for a dusty, stale room either. The hotel failed. My big three complaints: 1. The internet was slow. I mean *slow*. And it went out every two minutes or so. If you need a reliable, sturdy […] internet connection this is not your place. I had to do some work, and what would usually take me about an hour took three because of the internet. And forget watching online videos, Skype, or anything fancier than simple text based pages. Even buying a book on Amazon took about 20 minutes because I had to wait so long for the pages to load! 2. I had the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on my door so I could sleep in -- but a cleaning staff member knocked anyway and asked me if I was checking out that day and when I was leaving. It was not my check out time yet, and so the sign should have been the clear indicator that they should leave me alone. I couldn't get back to sleep afterwards, and I needed some sleep. 3. I'm not that picky about decor, or even cleanliness, really. It was not a dirty hotel -- I did not worry about bed bugs or anything like that. But the rooms are a little rustic (with stains on the tub, broken fixtures, etc.). The price was a little high for the decor, I thought (usually I could get a $40 room that would be of similar quality to the room I got here). I also heard lots of children running around and being loud at night, and I get the hotel can't help that too much. I didn't call to complain, either. But the kids were at it for a good hour after midnight, so that might be something that is important to you. Overall, I'd say if you're in this area just stay at the Super 8. I was looking for a hotel with a swimming pool so my children could swimm while I was at work. When we arrived we found out that the pool was NOT in working condition. Hotel was comfortable enough and a decent place to stay. Across the parking lot from Harrah's Casino. Only complaint was that I did not get a requested wakeup call, which caused me to be slightly late for an appointment.

This hotel is across the street from Harrah's Metropolis Casino. It was a clean, bsic room. Not luxury by any stretcg, but very satisfactory for an overnight stay. Super City Blues and Ques festival was going on close by, which was a treat. Ate supper at Willy Jak's, a hang out with local flavor.

If you want to be walking distance from the casino with a cheaper hotel this is the place but if you dont plan on drinking go to paducah. The hotel was nice on the outside, the people were okay, the room was cleanish. There is no elevator, no locks on outside doors to stairs, air conditioners were loud, beds are hard, ice machine broken.. it was okay […] but i would rather stay 7 miles away in a larger town and hotels even cheaper. The carpet was filty-left your feet black! GROSS!!!! We had 2 rooms, but could only use one, as the a/c did not work in one room. Furniture broken, needs remodel!
