"The Baymont Inn in Cambridge Ohio - Decent stay"
The baymont Inn is a clean, comfortable and covenient. I stayed there on business. The only downfall of the hotel is that is lacks a business center, so you can't print anything if you need to. The bathroom is also pretty small. All in all I would recommend it for the price though.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient for traveling I70 and I77"
I love this hotel and stay here every time we travel to the midwest from the east coast. We enjoy the waffles and other breakfast items and enjoy a relaxing dip in the pool and hot tub. Walmart and other stores are close by to purchase things that may have forgotten as we have on many of our travels.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

first we were given a smoking room w/ 2 double beds instead of a king non smoking. room was dirty, housekeeping left a used washcloth in the room. room smelled, blankets were "ratty" and hotel staff were not sympathetic to our concerns. Hotels.com did a good job of getting us a new room, the Hampton Inn a block away is where we usually stay in cambridge...it […] is very nice, but was booked up Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Had a good stay. Request a whirlpool room. One spot on the area around the whirlpool was cracked. concerned for mold development in that area. The heated pool was a great temp.
Not a good stop. Bathroom was extremely small. The place smelled of smoke even tho they are a nonsmoking motel. Breakfast was good. Had all you needed. The staff was nice and helpful. This is an old place can't recommend.

Breakfast was complete with a lot to offer. We got in late and received a nice welcome. I could not find my Wyndham Rewards number and neither could the desk. Convenient location to I 70 & I 75.
I was with a wedding party, I intended to mix and mingle with friends and family. Was nearly impossible due to the rude housekeeping staff. They acted as if we were in their way. Very rude comments, not courtious at all.Front desk clerks were great, very inviting. Will I stay again? Probably not. Housekeeping ruined that. Felt very disrespected.

Met expectations as an average motel were. I visit Cambridge for about 3 weeks a year. The hotels are very busy due to the shale oil industry. This causes higher room rates and more wear on the facilities. More hotels are going up. They are needed. Other hotels I have stayed at in Cambridge have the same issues. I believe the Baymont handles them as best as possible.
We stayed here for several days. The hotel was nothing special. The room clean but small and the bathroom was even smaller. Speaking of bathrooms, why no exhaust fan? The walls and ceiling were showing signs of moisture deterioration and the musty smell would not go away even with the AC on full blast. With today's technology, the lack of access to power outlets in the bedroom screamed OLD. Luckily, we've learned to travel with a power strip so we can plug in our phones and iPads. On a positive note, the indoor hot tub and pool were clean and seemed well maintained albeit only open until 10 pm due to a couple rooms with balconies over the pool. The complimentary breakfast choices included a good collection of pastries as well as one waffle iron, eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels, etc which ends at 9 am on weekdays. Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not.
"Old and needs updating"

The staff of the hotel were nice and helpful. The hotel itself is old and needs updating. Hallways smell of smoke. Nice pool area and good breakfast. Does not fit what I would consider a Wyndham property. We stayed here do to it being dog friendly (Too much money for what you get) There were lots of construction workers staying here, we were woke up the beeping of the trucks as they were leaving for work before day break. (we were on the 2nd floor)

I went on a group tour with Starr Tours. Came home with Bed Bugs. Starr was no help they are not responsible. So I called the hotel to tell them and asked if Starr Tours called them to tell them about the BED BUGS. I was told no call but was told by front desk that they had an infestation a year and half ago. I left my name and number for the manager to please call me back. I have been trying to talk the the hotel manager for 2 weeks now and manager will not return my call. I talked to front desk this week and was told the manager was not feeling well and just left for the day. In addition to the expense and upheaval that this has cost me there will be another tour in a week.

Your Review I would not stay here unless there was no where else to stay. The room smelled very musky and I woke up with a splitting headache from it.

We stayed for three nights while in town for a funeral. Although not our first choice in town, we were looking for a hotel with a pool/hot tub for family members who needed those. This hotel was sufficient for our needs and the price was relative to others in the area. Our room was on the first floor, but we didn't hear anyone next door or above us, even though we were told the rooms were occupied. The room was a bit small but not bad. The bathroom was too small, as we had to move next to the toilet to get the door open or closed. The furnishings look old but everything worked. As hard as the A/C worked, the room always felt damp and a musty smell was pervasive when the A/C wasn't blowing. Things that dry overnight at home took two nights here. The beds were comfortable, not the best but far, far from the worst. The double beds were too small, as we are used to having at least a queen size. We knew the size when we booked though. Overall, not a bad stay, but if we come back to town, we'll probably look elsewhere.
