Lacking things that make your stay comfortable.
Front desk people were nice for the most part. Some didn't seem interested in helping until their friend acknowledged I was standing there waiting to be helped, and the friend told me to come up to the staff's desk. Indoor pool was nice. Nothing special. The breakfast club on the 19th floor was mediocre. Cereal, bacon, eggs, fruit and dry pastries. It's worth going to one of the downtown breakfast areas instead of paying for access the the "club lounge." Also, there was a large sign that discouraged you from taking soda or water to your room from the club. Parking is not included as the description adequately states. Valet is an option, or you can pay half the price and park in a lot across the street. You have to cross 3 lanes of one way traffic with luggage in-tow and no dedicated crosswalk. The people running the valet were pushy when I parked to pickup my pregnant wife and toddler with his stoller. Room service menu and lobby restaurant menu similar in price and options. Neither of which seemed worth the convenience. Being downtown, there are a lot of great options for food, entertainment (family included), attractions. I recommend this hotel only for convenience. Easy to get to from the interstate. Easy to access downtown Memphis. While the room itself had the standard amenities, the other hotel amenities were lacking. Definitely not what I expected for the price. I would have expected more accommodating staff for this brand of hotel.

Good location
Excellent hotel that was right on the trolley route. It provided easy access to Pyramid Arena (now a fantastic Bass Pro Shop) and Beale Street. No complaints, only compliments.

Everything was great except for the people beside me. They were very loud and slammed there door 8 to 10 times in less than 10 minutes and a strong marijuana smell came from their room. I am allergic to THC so it caused a lot of discomfort as well as my 3 year old daughter was subjected to the smell as well.

Horrible service, long check in, clean room
I got to the hotel for my 4pm check in at 12pm. They told me my room wasn't ready yet which was fine. I tried to check in at 4pm, the lobby was filled with people waiting to check in. Rooms were still not ready. I went back at 7 and once again waited on line for an hour rooms still not ready and the hallway was still filled with people. I didn't get into my room until 9pm. When I arrived in the parking lot I had six bags no one in the bell service offered to help me with bags. The hotel bar was not only expensive but the service was also really slow. This hotel has the worst service out of any hotel I've stayed in for my last 10 years of travel. I am on the road 50 percent of the year on business so that is saying a lot. I left a message with the accounting department twice for a billing problem and no one called me back. If I go back to Memphis I will not stay here, the service is so bad the hotel should never ever charge as much as it does. The rooms were clean is the only Google thing I could say. I did not meet one employee in this hotel that seemed to care about customer service
