The hotel needs to make it very clear why taxis are 50-65GBP from an airport 4 miles away and make sure guest know the HopperBus runs all the time from Heathrow to the hotel.

The young lady gave us a London transit map, circled the rail stations for the attractions we were interested in, then wrote the rail station for each attraction in case we forgot (which we did). The hotel was very nice and really close to Heathrow airport. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Our room was a "mile" from the front desk, but it was clean and quiet and well-equipped, so we were happy campers!

Two things made my stay much less pleasant than it could have been:1 - The hotel has no vending machine so when I wanted to buy water my only option was to buy it from the bar: almost 10 US$ for a bottle. 2 - I made two phone calls, two minutes each, to a local cell phone number. We stayed here only because we were leaving very early and did not want to travel the distance from London. It was convenient, good bus service to the airport and of course the pool for our granddaughter. The room was clean and we ate at the grill and the restaurant and the wait staff were excellent. Your staff are first-class. There are three who stood out. The first was Shantae (?) Guest Relations Manager who worked diligently to assist my Dad, get emergency dental care - she was most professional, caring and responsive. The young Front Desk Agent who checked us in was calm, professional and genuinely keen to assist us if we needed it. She was most helpful with breakfast vouchers and continued to check to see if all was going well for us anytime we stopped by the desk or passed by. The third professional was the waiter in the sports bar that was particularly busy on the evening of July 3rd but who graciously responded to our request to change the television station. Someone said that the staff at this property were easily placed in any other Marriott. It is obvious why that is the case - as an Human Resources executive, I can quite easily identify quality people. You have folks who appear to genuinely care about what they do for your guests and that is simply commendable and that is why your rating is high. Read more

The Marriott Windsor is very convenient to Heathrow Airport. When traveling back to the airport, it is easy to get to the hotel. Langley has a great fish and chips shop which is within minutes of the hotel.

Be aware, there are 2 other Marriott hotels in the area... a second one named Marriott Heathrow! Ensure you are making the reservation at the right hotel, otherwise you are in for a headache. Free Shuttle only runs to Marriott Heathrow NOT Marriot Heathrow Windor.

Great value for money. Extremely easy access to the motorway and Heathrow. Everything at the hotel was of the highest standard. Food in restaurants was excellent, and it was wonderful to see so many happy & smiling staff! We will definitely stay at this hotel again when looking for an airport hotel.

Very much NOT free internet anywhere in the hotel. 15 pound for 24 hours!!! Hotel hopper comes every 30 min if you are lucky. Breakfeast pretty good and room clean. Onc e at the tube station, it's another 45 min to london center.

the Expedia price on the weekends was excellent. the one downside of the hotel is that the prices for breakfast and other meals are very high, and they don't tell you about other alternatives in the neighborhood.

Hotel was acceptable though the heat/AC in the meeting rooms was horrid and they apparently save money by not heating the public restrooms in the winter. Biggest complaint is the obscene $25/day charge for internet! (15GBP to be precise). On the bright side the Hoppa bus for 4 GBP to the airport isn't bad. The taxi charge is $100 (60GBP) from the […] airport because it's "out of zone", and return taxi from hotel to airport was 25GBP for the 20 minute ride... This is a very nice hotel to stay in with friendly staff. The rooms were comfortable and comes with a tea/coffee maker which was convenient for us. There is a great buffet breakfast in the restaurant downstairs. The only downside was that it was quite a distance from Heathrow airport so it might not be an ideal location if you're planning to visit inner […] city London. The hopper bus system is available to transport customers Bus H55 from Terminal 5, Bus H5 from Terminals 1 & 2 at Heathrow to the hotel and vice versa for 4 pounds each way. Alternatively, you could ride the local bus and get off at the stop opposite Toby's Pub/Grill. A local bus, #77 transported us to Windsor town center where Windsor Castle is located only a 20 min ride away. There's a convenience store just up High Street, past Toby's Grill, if needed. Hotel was near to Windsor castle were my son was getting an award. The hotel is clean and the staff on reception outstanding ! Nothing to much trouble, we did us the pool area but it is dated and in need of a clean but the children who we saw were using it were having a ball ! Rooms large and we had an iron and board for those last minute touch ups […] to the clothes also tea and coffee in the room (except not enough milk) but reception gave us some more. The hotel does do its own breakfast for £16 each but across the road is a Toby carvery and for a full breakfast we were told it was £3.99. It was a nice hotel and has pleasant, helpful staff. It was an enjoyable stay. My only comment is that perhaps the room was a bit too warm at its regular 22 degrees for sleep and we had to put on the air conditioner to be really comfortable through the night which dries out the air a bit...

Fantastic stay at the Marriott. We just had a room, no breakfast or other meals. We had a carvery across the road at the pub and took our own Herbalife shakes for breakfast. You answer me, i went to five ice machines n only managed to 8 cubes of ice, (not one said out of order), i went to the front desk explained what happened requested bucket of ice, ashtray n sewing kit,. I received an empty ice bucket, an ashtray and a shaving kit. I called the front desk the next am to request why i could not connect 2 wireless units […] to the internet, they told me what to do, which i did numerous times n failed to get connected, then they put me through to the internet provider, not going to go through all the details but it is is not possible to connect 2 units, front desk should have known. Should not have to look up information book to find out how to call reception/front desk etc. staff were polite n pleasant, but not much good if they do not know what is going on, stayed in many marriott' this was worst considering there was no language barrier, spoke to manger about problems, she gave me lip service but that was it, could not undr any circumstances recommend this hotel. I chose this hotel due to its proximity to Legoland Windsor. The condition of the hotel was good, and the staff very friendly and helpful. The kids used the pool, and the breakfast in the morning was fantastic. The only downside was being charged £9 for parking (which we knew about in advance)

Hotel is in Langley -not Windsor. It is about 10 miles from the airport and the rental cars so if you aren't taking the shuttle there a cab is expensive - 25-30 sterling. Great exercise room. We were supposed to get a wake up call and a newspaper in the morning - but received neither.

The hotel was lovely and breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The beds were not very comfy at all and resulted in a grumpy daddy! and the pool was closed the first night we were there. The second night it was open but to booked times only we weren't told this so had two disappointed boys
