"over-night stay before cruise"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We really liked San Pedro Inn & Suites. It was perfect for our over-night stay before our cruise. The price that we paid for the room was a good value. The staff was friendly. We were suprised that such a good breakfast was included in the price of our room.

We were very pleased with the accommodations. Conveniently located with easy access to freeway.
"Impressed!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Have stayed at other hotels in the area and this was the nicest and least expensive. Up to date furnishing and t.v. Bathroom was nice, but hasn't fully been updated. Clean, good area, easy check in and out and included breakfast. (Ceral, muffins, bagels-butter no cream cheese, juices, coffee, teas and fresh fruit. About 10 minutes to Disneyland on city roads. Beds were comfortable and pillows were fluffy and nice. Will be staying here again.

Disneyland Resort looms large in Anaheim, also known for its divine baseball. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play ball at Angel Stadium. West, in Buena Park, Knott’s Berry Farm is the area’s other major amusement park. Along the coast, crowds bask in the sun along Newport Beach’s boardwalk and historic pier. John Wayne Airport, Orange County’s gateway, is a popular alternative to the LA airport.

"Great for families"
Called room service 10 minutes before they closed. The person over the phone assured me it wasn't too late to order. The food was delivered quickly and accurately with a smile.
"Convenient location"
Great hotel, and service. Walk across the street, through the Grand Californian and you are in the park. Only downside was a dinky pool, and our hallway outside of our room wasn't vacuumed for the first few days we were there, and it really needed it, gross. I would definitely go back however. Comfortable room and close to the park.

Hotel location was great...magic morning hours were a huge plus. Least expensive of the three Disney properties. However, pool was unexpectedly down and painting was being done in the hallways during our stay. Got misinformation on the parks from the concierge, check-in was not great...especially by Disney standards. Room was cleaned daily, but only […] very lightly. No complimentary transportation from the airport. Elevators were an issue during peak hours. Asked for a late check-out, which they granted, then locked us out of our room prior to our check-out time. Would expect more from a Disney property...especially for that price. Read more
"Disney paradise hotel"
No advance notice of pool area closure. Would have stayed elsewhere. Pull out couch mo linens expected to make it myself. I have bad back
"Average Hotel"
This hotel is extremely kid friendly.. Pretty clean. Given that it's a Disney Hotel I would have expected a little bit better. The room we had included two queen beds the bed I was sleeping on had a broken spring.. Also have lots of patience if you go during the busy season the elevators are very slow... we went during spring break and literately had […] to wait about 10+ min. for an elevator that was not full. The location was great! Easy walk through Disney Californian hotel to Cal. Adventure or Downtown Disney. Read more
Fun hotel, ask for a room with a view on Disney you can see the firework ans lightshow from your room, otherwise from the halway. If you want to be closest to Disney book the grand California hotel across the street they have their own entrance in Disney. Hotel is expensive so is everything in the surroundings. We stayed with 2 adults and 2 teenagers […] in the room what worked out fine. Read more
"Great for the family"
Close to attractions and downtown disney. Could use more/larger trashcans, two wastebaskets not good with toddlers. Need to have microwaves in rooms to heat bottles for the tiny ones. Rooms were very quiet. Should have discounted for areas under renovation.
"Paradise Pier at Disneyland"
Location is good, room and lobby need update, room is clean and comfortable, service is typical Disney and so does the price. Basically you get what you pay for.

"Love the Staff!!!"
I love staying at the Disney Hotels. They are always so friendly!!!!!
"Great stay! Great location!"
It might not be as close as the Grand California Hotel but it's just across the street. It's the cheapest of the Disney hotels and it is just as well kept and comfortable. Everyone is always friendly at Disney Hotels. If you are more on a budget but you really want to stay at a Disney hotel, this would be the way to have it all and downtown Disney. […] Would recommend!! Read more

"Wonderful stay"
The hotel was very comfortable, clean and not noisy at all considering all the families that were there. My only complaint is the wait for the elevators in the morning. Also the pillows are way too big for children. I asked housekeeping for smaller pillows but they do not provide any other sizes. The hotel employees were very helpful specifically the […] concierge desk with any request we had. Would definitely stay there again. Read more
"Unacceptable"
OK, to D'land with the 3 yr old. Hotel claimed to have monorail direct to the Park. Not happening in reality. Their Adverts Said they had Swimming Pool with water slide. Not actually, but you can walk to one about a half mile away and use it- they will even give you a towel, I was told. How sweet of them. The DisneyCharacter wake up? Turns out to be […] a recording of Goofy on your room telephone, Wow. Then there was the 40 minute wait for the elevator on check out day- 40 MiNUTES for gods sake! I can go on, but why? Skip this overpriced over-rated disaster is my recommendation. What a lousy way to spend a childs' special Birthday. Read more
"PARADISE PIER IN ANAHIEM,CA"
THIS IS MY FAMILY'S FAVORITE HOTEL TO STAY WHEN WE VISIT THE DISNEYLAND PARKS. GREAT PLACE TO STAY!
Staying at the hotel made our stay extremely awesome. We stayed on a crowded week-end, and had our stay not been at a hotel property we would not have had such a good trip. The service was great.. We arrived at 8:00 a.m. and they held our luggage. They text you when your room is ready. Concierge service is a must. So worth the money. Well worth the […] money for all the extra perks. st Read more
"Convienent"
Very close to Disneyland and Downtown Disney. Staff however not very knowledgable.
"Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland"
Fabulous! The location is great, the hotel was marvelous and the staff was wonderful. The extra perks for staying at a Disneyland hotel were awesome! If every company in the world operated like Disney, the world would be a better place. They do everything right. Highly recommend this hotel.
"Disney's Paradise Pier - short walk to the parks."
The hotel was close to the parks and was a nice place to stay.
"i liked staying here!"
a 5 night stay with a 3 day park hopper and visiting Disneyland off season on weekdays is the best! the convenience of the hotel and the location at a great price was terrific!

"Disney does it again......"
So far everything I have done Disney is done right. The hotel has something for everyone, kids loved pool, and I loved the bed-pillows and all. Would love to come back again!
Excellent hotel. Awesome staff. Very comfortable bed and room. I will definitely be staying here again!
"Disney's Paradise Pier"
Wonderful hotel for half the price of the other DIsneyland Resort hotels - BUT with ALL of the same perks.. Will definitely be staying there again! Room service was even cheaper than eating at any of the restaurants in downtown Disney or the Theme Parks.
"Great service, fun place to stay"
Great service, from check-in to valet to bell desk to room service. So easy to get to Disneyland & California Adventure, just a short walk across the street & thru the Grand Californian. We will definitely stay there again when we come back to Disneyland in the future.

It was so fun and so convenient. My. Kids loved the experience here and are already asking when we can go back. We were there for my daughters 10th birthday and the staff really made it special for her. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
"Paradise Pier"
Sure it's a Disney property so you would expect great service, but when we arrived early the front desk said they would text us when the room was ready. We recieved the text and when we got to the room, it wasn't ready yet. No big deal, we were early anyway. I went to the front desk to let them know that it wasn't ready and we would return at the normal […] time and go to the theme park. The front desk, Miguel, immediately apologized and said he would get us a different room. I let him know that it was fine because we were early and would just go to the theme park until later. He said he already changed the room and we could put our stuff in it right away. When we got to the room, it had an even better view than the first room. Miguel and the rest of the staff always greeted us when we were downstairs and it made the stay the best we have ever had at Disneyland. We are just regular people, but they really made us feel special. Read more
This hotel is great for greating the whole Disney experience. The pool was closed, which they did not tell us until we checked in. It is very close to Downtown Disney, and California Adventure, but don't be fooled it is FAR from Disneyland!

"Paradise pier"
It was the best we ordered room service and watched world of color and the fireworks. We had perfect views of both.
"amatures"
booked a king room and got two queens, pool and spa were under construction and at 9 am was woken up by a jack hammer outside our window

The Paradise Pier was clean, comfortable, quiet and close. The staff was friendly and helpful. The water pressure was a little low and there aren't many eating options on site but those aren't deal breakers. We will likely stay in Disney properties in the future.
"Great Hotel-Terrible Elevators"
This hotel was really nice. Comfy beds. Excellent customer service. One REALLY big downside was the wait for the elevators. We had to wait for SIX elevators to come and go before we could get onto one that wasn't full. We were there on a Monday and a Tuesday in January. No where near the peak of the Disneyland season. I couldn't imagine how long it […] would have taken us to catch an elevator in June or July! This is the only reason why I won't stay here again. With a toddler and a baby in tow, it's just too big of an inconvenience. Read more

"good deal"
I think this is the cheapest of ON PROPERTY hotels at Disneyland. We had 2 adults, 2 teenagers in our room, and we were fine. I mean, its Disneyland, how much time are you going to spend in the room? Beds were VERY comfy, as were the pillows. Only one thing I would have wanted - room service mid day. Other than that, for the price, it was better than […] I had anticipated! Read more
"Another Great stay at Paradise Pier"
We have stayed here multiple times and this was just a great of stay as the last few times. The location is very convenient and a great value for on of the Disney hotels. I have stayed at all three of the Disney hotels and they are all great. But when I want to save a few bucks the Paradise Pier is close and just as great as the other two. I'm sure […] I will be staying there again in the near future. Read more
"Paradise Pier - Paradise for the price"
We found this resort very nice and friendly. The room was very clean and everything worked just fine. The hotel staff were friendly and took the time to answer our questions. The parking attendants gave our son a balloon. We had requested a crib but when we got there we found out they didn't have any. What they did have was a pack and play which was […] okay but a little small for our son. I can see the issue about the elevators, especially, if you're there during a peak season. We were on the 6th floor. At 7:30 in the morning we had to wait for a couple of elevators until we had one with enough room. I don't think the issue is the amount of elevators, while there could be at least one more, it was the size that seemed to not make any sense. You could probably fit 6 full size adults in each one and that's not counting stollers and/or luggage. I think Disney should go back and revisit this issue. If they cannot provide a few more they should expand them to make them more roomy. The size they are doesn't make much sense for the size of the resort. You do have to walk to the parks but I didn't find them a considerable distance away. There are two ways to go. One way, the shortest, was through the Grand California. The longer way is to the end of Downtown Disney and through the Disneyland Hotel. I would recommend this hotel for anyone interested in staying on the Disney resort but don't want or expect the fancy frills of the other two hotels. Read more
"Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel"
It may be on a Disney property, but it is NOT in the park. You have to walk a considerable distance to get to the park--and the monorail does not go there. If you take the special character breakfast, then the breakfast is good. Otherwise breakfats is served in the lobby and the selection and quality are poor.

Overall it was an okay experience. For the money we spent I expected more. We went in Dec. So there were maintenance issues. They were working on the pool and construction woke us up. Hotel was further away than I thought. You have to walk through downtown Disney to get to park. Elevators were a nightmare. This is an ongoing problem that they have. […] Very hard to catch an elevator that wasn't full. Rooms were clean and there is a cafe downstairs that serves muffins, etc.. it was fun to stay on Disney property, but for the money we will stay at a neighborhood hotel. Read more
