Nice ,clean hotel have stayed here before. Close to one of my four stores in Metro - Memphis. Great location, across from local medical center, quiet. Rooms set up like a mini apartment with all the amenities.

This was our second stay at this pretty in the month of April 2013. I have never before been as impressed with the staff of a hotel as this staff. I cannot get into all of the detail - it would just take too long. I will say that we were in Memphis for a funeral. We spilled a flower arrangement inside of the car. You can imagine the mess. All was good but on the 1st floor...you can hear all the doors around you slam shut... and lots of noise.. had to put towels under doors as theres a big gap down there...guess where carpet was ...now hardwood floors..

It is obvious that this is an older property. Having said that, our room was clean, quiet and well maintained. I do want to add: We had some questions and personal issues when we checked (St. Francis Hospital is right across the street - I will leave it at that - that is the reason for our stay) in. A good clean hotel. The hotel is located off of Ridgeway and Popular St., both streets have plenty of restaurants and shopping. Check in was very quick and the staff was very friendly. I had no problems connecting to their wireless internet.

Staff was polite and efficient. Rooms were well within expectations of price paid. Breakfast was decent. The only down side was that they allow pets and there was a barking dog on our floor. Still, I would stay there again.

Our room was clean and updated but the two door entry to the bathroom didn't lead to much privacy. The staff was extremely friendly and polite, and check in/out was quick and painless. Stayed for just a night, but the hotel was quite nice. The rooms were very modern and clean. Good breakfast as far as free hotel breakfast goes. Only down side to the stay, was that it smelt that someone had been smoking in the room before we were there. Made us question whether to stay at LaQuinta hotels ever again. No clock, no wastebaskets, door did not lock from the outside hall (only lock working was deadbolt from inside of room, desk staff seemed uninterested in any of our issues.

For the price this was a great place to stay. the only issue was at checkin - I had reserved a room with two doubles and they sold them out. I was surprised since using Hotels'com they already were paid so I don't really understand why the room wasn't reserved as requested.

In general, this La Quinta is OK. Modern-looking room, located near my family and near the highway. Reception was very professional. Upgraded me to a King at no charge because they had one that was empty -- nice! Nice breakfast -- waffle station, pastries, English muffins, bagels, yogurt, fresh fruit. A cut above other La Quintas I have stayed at in […] that regard. But the maids need training. Arrived after a long, stressful drive on Friday night. Took a shower and made a nice, soothing cup of tea (coffee/tea-maker in room). Happened to use the last tissue in the room. Did some touring Saturday morning. When I returned, maid had "serviced" room, but there was only ONE new towel and a washcloth -- not even a hand towel! -- no new cups, no new sugar, etc. packets, no new tissues. We had to wait about 15 minutes at the front desk upon our arrival before anyone would acknowledge our presents. Night clerk rude and unresponsive. Hotel was room was not clean the carpet throughout the hotel is in desparate need of cleaning. The bathroom was poorly cleaned, just a touch up appearance. Apparently the guest beore us dropped some sort of pill and there it remained on the floor partially underneath the dresser in the room. We will not stay at this location ever again.

Stay ok, but could hear another guests dog barking during the. Night. Breakfast times on the weekend are different to week days. Not advertised to guests clearly. We nearly missed out on breakfast on Monday as we were 1/2 hour late. It finished at 9 am Monday, not 10 am as it is on the weekend. Several other guests were caught out too.

I really enjoyed my stay. I like the overall design of the hotel room. The only complaints that I have are that the first night that I checked in the hallways smelled of smoke. Well they gave is two towels, two wash clothes, two hand towels. Also one little cheap bar of soap and shampoo. The mini fridge wasnt were it was supposed to be. And the continential breakfast was a joke.

This hotel is easy to locate. The front desk needs either more staff, or experienced staff, or faster moving staff (I had to wait more than 20 minutes, on three occasions, for assistance). The pool was in rough shape, but the room more than made up for it. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Very well priced.
