The satff, from front desk to cleaning were courteous, responsive to our needs. I appreciated being able to bring my dog with me. I thought that the daily breakfast and exercise rooms were real value additions.

From the moment we walked through the door, till the time we left, our stay was terrific. From the free continental breakfast every morning, the comfortable bed, and excellent location, we couldn't ask for anything more. I was happy to learn that a computer room is available for those of us not bringing a laptop. Pool and jacuzzi are a plus. Cannot say anything less. Very quiet, safe location. Would highly recommend!

My only complaint is that we were put in a smoking room though we requested a non-smoking and the smell of smoke was terrible. Other than than, we enjoyed our stay and will definately stay again if the need arises.

The hotel was great for the money that we paid. The room was nice and clean, breakfast was great, beds weren't the most comfortable but still slept fine. I would recommend staying if you are looking for a decent priced hotel and aren't looking for luxury. Lots of restaurants and food choices around, which was very nice.

La Quinta at Peter's Road in Plantation is excellently located within dining, shopping and even "personal business" locations. The hotel's proximity to the Ft Lauderdale International Airport, enhances the loaction even better!

The room wreeked of smoke. By the time we left, all of our clothes and ourselves also wreeked of smoke.

My stay at the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Ft Lauderdale/Plantation, FL was fine except the room cleanliness could have been better - the carpet in my room was heavily soiled which made the entire room appear less than clean.

Be careful when booking this. hotels.com defaults to 2 adults. I was by myself and there was an extra $12 for two nights! The overall hotel was older and worn....not really dirty, but worn. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was cheap!

I was very pleased with this hotel. It's location, condition, service, comfort. I really have no complaints. I loved that there was wireless internet as well. My son loved the breakfast. All in all, very pleasant.

The hotel itself was great. The front desk clerk was very accomodating and friendly. The continental breakfast was good. The complaints we had were that we had booked a non-smoking room and when we entered it it reeked of cigarette smoke. But a call to the front desk promptly got us moved to a better room. Also, the bathroom door on the first room, consisted of two small doors that you had to slide together to close and latch and you could see through the big crack that was left after they were closed. Not good when you have children around. Aside from those things we had a good stay and would go back.

Hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast could have been just a little better but was satisfactory.

Very professional and friendly staff. Extremely satisfied with the cleanliness of rooms. Modern and updated. Not close to the beach but if you are looking for a quick cheap place to stay and you don't mind being a couple of miles from the beach this place is great.

Very Comfortable

We arrived very late on check-in date. We were concerned about arranging shuttle service for transport to Miami International. Desk clerk assured us that he would help arrange this before his shift would end the next morning. Working with him that next morning to obtain shuttle went smoothly and shuttle service was prompt and courteous. FYI-price for two = $70.00 total.

For the most part, this hotel was okay. It was on the expensive side, just because of the location. I had a few issues - first when we checked in, the front desk agent left a lot to be desired. After I gave her our name (and she seemed irritated to be interrupted) the phone rang and she handled that call without saying a word to us. Second, the hotel advertises that if you forget something, let the front desk know; my boyfriend forgot his toothbrush so I asked the front desk (different agent) if they had one - they didn't. I also had a slight issue with the bathroom. While it was generally clean, there were a few hairs left in it, but by the time I noticed them I just decided to wash them down the drain and not bother with the front desk again. On the plus side, the room was comfortable with a temperature that you could actually control. The beds were comfortable (and I usually have trouble sleeping in a strange place. So overall, not bad, but I think I would try to find a different place next time.

This hotel was conveniently located near the highways since we drove to different locations every day. And multiple restaurants were located within a short drive of the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms, and reasonable price.

Housekeeping didn't seem to notice the 'do not disturb' sign and kept knocking to see if we needed anything, however we were out eating breakfast while our dog was barking at the knocking. Otherwise the room was fine, it appeared that the room needed a vaccuum but everything else was clean.

1. Customer Service was almost nonexistent. I’m from Ft. Lauderdale and after being in Orlando for the past 8 years, I’m finding that there is a huge decline in that area. 2. The elevator closest to the front desk was a tad scary to ride; also the elevator inspection sticker has expired approx. 3 months ago at the time of this writing that is a federal offense. 3. The final point, the breakfast; I know you can’t expect too much from a continental breakfast, but please. They have 1 toaster and 1 waffle, the hotel is 4 floors. The lines in the morning were unbelievable. Also one of the 3 mornings, there was hardly any item to choose from. Either they got a late start or they where understaffed, but there was some food, no plates, and no condiments.

Nice hotel for the area, but the AC was freezing in the hallways and building!! Bring your winter clothes.

very friendly clean and close to everything

Room was not cleaned one day at all and hoovered on 1 day out of 7. Complimentary room items were not replaced daily. Breakfast was sub standard, very poor quality and service.Fitness room was not cleaned ever. Towels for gym and pool not replaced. TVs were too dark a picture to see. All bathroom noises in neighbouring rooms could be heard!! Do not stay here.

Stayed there on business and wow what a great room!!!! Very clean, lots of space and very large desk to spread papers out to do my work. To top things off, great breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend!!!

Checked the rating, description and convenience of hotel, and the fact that there was a continental breakfast along with the room, decided to book the hotel and it was everything they promised. I would stay with them anytime and happily refer LaQuinta Hotels.

Neighbors were noisy, but the hotel was clean, the staff was excellent, and overall we had a great stay.

Elevator was broken. Remodling was going on and the place looked horrible. The staff all shared one brain. The walls were very thin and you could hear more than you wanted to from your neighbors. Worst hotel I stayed at in a longtime.

They let me check-in early, but had to change me to a different room. Unfortunately, they didn't switch my key to the new room, and I had to go back down to the office and get the correct key. We stayed for two nights and they didn't clean our room, the manager took note of which room and apologized. Room was nice, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Some service was lacking, but it was more things that were overlooked, not blatant bad service. Good overall.

The place was nice and clean and the staff was very helpful. Extra towels and pillows, not a problem. Directions to nearby restaurant and shopping were given clearly. My only complaint was the a/c both in the room and the common areas was too warm. The lobby and breakfast area was uncomfortably warm even in the early morn. The room a/c shut off automatically after 2 hours and had to be turned back on each time.

I was very happy with my stay at the La Quinta. I can't think of anything negative to say and my roommate is already planning to book a room at this hotel for her June vacation.

This hotel was OK for the money we paid for it. The hotel seems a bit old but is well maintained. Elevators were clunky, the doors to the rooms stick and the toilet didn't flush well but all in all, the room was and surrounding grounds were well maintained and comfortable. The pool/spa area could use some work though. A shopping mall and restaurants are nearby.

The hotel was okay...the only thing it really needed was a face lift. The walls and doors were dirty, the carpet looked really old and the microwave was anciet. The staff was very kind, the location was great, if it were just a little cleaner I would definitely stay there again.

We wanted a location convenient to the Fort Lauderdale airport. This hotel is conveniently located near the airport. It also is in a nice area so would recommend it to anyone wanting a convenient airport location. Unfortunately, cannot comment on any other conveniences.
