The casino itself is really small and poorly ventilated. I didn't gamble here at all because I couldn't breath. The hotel staff was not very helpful or friendly. I reserved a non-smoking king room. But they didn't have that when I arrived. The room was a lot smaller than I expected but it was clean and had nice decor. The TV sucks because it's an old small one. Overall though, it was a fun stay because it's right on fremont street.

We requested a nonsmoking room but at time of arrival those were all given out so we were placed in a smoking room which absolutely smelled of tobacco. We asked to change rooms for our second night there but they were full again. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, don't mind being around the shady people playing slots all day in their casino, then this is the place for you.

Did not get any sleep. 2nd day I told them we needed to stay in a non smoking and which I had to call about 5 times then went to the front desk and stood there til they found one. Had dinner in one of the restaurants and the tables were not getting cleared off. It was very messy...

Other hotels in downtown vegas appeared better and were a better value. No internet, coffee pot or tv stations were in the room. It makes hanging out with my 80 year old father difficult. The racing/sports book was nice, but 2 downtown hotels had better books. The buffet disappointed me but was still a good deal for breakfast.

Excellent value for dollar. Great location on Fremont. Easy access to/from freeway, plus free parking for guests means I would highly recommend this location over Strip for anyone wanting to move around the area by car. Only negatives are rooms are just a bit small, and casino is smoky, needs better air filtration system. Front desk and bell staff, valet parking, and all staff encountered in Tony Roma's were very good.
