Fortunately, you won't have to wander far from the Belvedere if hunger strikes. The hotel is home to the Churrascaria Plataforma, Brazilian-style steakhouse known for its all-you-can-eat meats, salad, and sides. At the table, each diner receives a dual-sided disk: with green side up, waiters will slice cuts of beef, pork, and salmon; when you have your fill, turn the disk red side up to stop the flow of food. Be sure to pace yourself as the restaurant is also known for its decadent desserts.
After dinner or a long day of sightseeing, unwind in your guestroom and watch the high-definition LCD TV, or check your email using the hotel's wireless Internet (available for a surcharge, though Internet is included in the rate for Executive rooms). Prepare a snack in your in-room kitchenette, or order in from room service. In the morning, you can head down to the Belvedere Café for a Continental breakfast or American breakfast buffet. It's a good place to stay as you consider a location for fun and tour howeve, if you need a quite place to study or hve some important morning meeting i totally don't recommend it.

I was highly impressed with the size of the room that we had for our stay. It was one of the suites and it was as big as my apartment in dublin. The reason we choose a suite was that we were travelling as a party of 3 adults and an infant.. As such we needed room for a cot and a small kitchen facility.. The cot (although resembling something from a 3rd world orphanage) was clean and quite sufficient.. Needing a sink to hold water to clean baby bottle was an issue as the plugs were missing or broken in both the kitchen sink and bathroom sink but after a call to reception this was resolved in less that 10 mins, which was great. The bulding itself is quite old and has some worn around the edges looks in some areas but nothing that would put my off staying here again. The location to all the sights in New York was amazing.. you could easily walk everywhere but for those who want to take it easier the subway is just at the top of the street.. I would highly recommend this hotel and location.. Surrounded by bars, restaurants and shopping it makes for a fab stay in New York for those not looking for ultra modern chic..

Decent hotel. Room was very big and quiet The kitchen was a big plus The only gripes were it was a couple of blocks from the nearest subway and you had to pay for wireless (quite expensive)

We stayed a night in April and were very pleased with our stay. This is a budget hotel and we got a fantastic rate. The hotel is fairly basic as were the rooms, however, they were very comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The location is Lido - it'snot in the centre of Venice - we were well aware of this and the vaparetto stop is only a few minutes walk. One of our party left her handbag behind and the staff went out of their way to ensure that it was returned very fast.

"my first trip to nyc"
hotel was nice, at good location, 5-10 min by foot from all famous theatres and times square, well connected with the JFK airport using subway on 50-th street. Elevators are slow and old, not well marked corridors are not well ventilated so it always feels unpleasant odor. I hope I will stay here and next time when I visit nyc. fantastic bed mattress, location great. However have to complain about the rudeness of the conceirge to us every time we approached for information. It appeared that unless we were willing to book one of his recommended trips, then he was just not interested and quite frankly rude, on every occasion. The Belvedere Hotel is in an excellent location. just a few blocks from Times Square and Fifth Avenue. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The lifts are quite slow and there are only two of them. We visited in November and although it wasn't too cold outside, the room was way too hot and the windows don't stay […] open. Also whenever we tried to use more than one appliance in the room at the same time, such as the hairdryer and the microwave, the electricity was cut off. We had to contact reception on two occasions to have it reconnected. However, the hotel is in an excellent location for shopping, sight-seeing and eating out. I would definitely choose it again. Having booked The Belvedere Hotel through Hotels.com and having checked out on 16th Nov. without any extra hotel services purchased I discovered on receiving my credit card bill that I was charged and extra 82.75 USD by The Belvedere Hotel . Both our room keys were handed in physically at 12.05pm approx. and there was no reference to the original hotel […] bill or any receipt provided . "perfect stay in big apple"
The convenience of the hotel location made our holiday so enjoyable- 5 minutes from Times Square and yet quiet. We walked everywhere- to pier 83 for boat trip around Manhatten island, to central park for bicycle tour, to Madison Square garden and Empire state Building. Just perfect esp for teenagers who dont like to walk!!!

Our room at the Belvedere was one of the nicest we have had during any visit to NYC, and was an especially good NYC deal for the price. Minor annoyances during our stay included long (really long) waits for the elevators at all hours of the day/night and the fact that the air conditioning unit is located BEHIND the curtains. I was in New York to make a theatrical performance. I had to be at the venue by 5:15, but check-in wasn't until 4:00. At 3:00 I showed up to the Belvedere and explained my situation (tired! rushed! performing!) and when the Standard room I reserved wasn't yet ready, they upgraded me to an Executive room that I was able to get right away. "Attentive and Personal Service"
All the staff was more than willing to help with everything we did, from a personal driver to trying to help find our lost phone. They even went as far as to call us AFTER we checked out to let us know they re checked the room again for us. I just felt like they went above and beyond and I wanted them to be noticed.

"Great location for broadway theaters"
Our room was very comfortable with a great view of the Hudson River. The staff was quite helpful and we could walk to our restaurant and theater easily.
Check in staff was absolutely rude and the room was noisy. Checkout was much friendlier. I heard conversations through the walls in the next room until late into the night. The lobby was great but the hallways, at least on my floor need to be upgraded. I was very disappointed in the hotel considering the price.

The hotel was very clean and conveniently located. However, the people staying in the rooms next to mine were very loud and disruptive. I did not get a good night sleep. I would not stay there again for business purposes as it seems the hotel is a tourist destination.

My friends and I enjoyed the facilities of the hotel room. The fact that there was a mircowave, a sink and a fridge was a major hit with all 3 of us. The room was good sized for 3 people considering all the shopping we were doing. If we had another person it might have been a little bit of a squeeze. "Right in the midst without being inside of it."
We arrived almost 4 hours before check-in and our room was ready. We checked in right away and got our day started. The doorman was super friendly and helpful with suggestions for dining. The hotel was in walking distance from everything we needed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in NYC that doesn't plan on spending all of their time […] in the hotel. There wasn't a whole lot to do in the hotel itself, but the rooms were clean, beds were comfy, shower was great and ac was perfect. The hotel's location is awesome! Extremely close to everything and the neighborhood is quiet and safe! The room was very clean. However, the hotel offers offsite parking which is very convenient but my passenger mirror was scraped!
