Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

comfy bed, nice bathroom, great staff at front desk, wireless access easy, computer in Lobby new and rapid. Parking garage reasonable rate. Great spot nearby:EatIly--check it out for restaurants and goodies to bring home. Only improvement that could be made is quality of towels.

It was a nice stay. Only complaints are the size of the double bed rooms and the internet was very off/on. Other than that it was an excellent stay.
"Nice clean hotel well located"
Everything is great. Double bed rooms ar spacious. Only issues I had were that they have only two elevators which are slow, especially if there are lots of people waiting and the concierge will not keep bags for you in storage at all. I checked out in the morning, had an evening flight and had to go leave my bags at a friends. "Great Location"
Very nice hotel in middle of theater district. Can walk to most theaters and Times Square. Room was very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was over priced, but it is New York. Cheaper breakfast locations are nearby. Small kitchenette in room was convenient.

"I would stay there again"
Walking distance from anything you want to see. Rooms larger than average for NY. Best price in town. There are nicer and significantly more expensive hotels in NY, but none have a greater value than the Belvedere.

Love it! Big room small kitchen with everything that if you'll decide not to spend mony on restaurant u can make stuff there. Front desck very friendly. Great great location big room compers to all the ones that I stayed before!

This hotel was very close to times square ( only 2 blocks) and in a great part of town. The staff was very helpful and super friendly. I was truly inpressed and dont think you could ask for anymore in this price range of hotels.

"Perfect for getaway"
We were in NYC for a quick 2 night getaway. The Belvedere was a perfect fit! Beautiful large (for NYC) room on 16th floor with great view of city. Only a quick walk to the theatre district and the Metro! Restaurants all around the neighborhood! Just a lovely stay!

"King Suite worth the extra"
We upgraded to the King Suite, the room was gorgeous! We had great views, and it was quiet once in the room. Great location, two blocks from Book of Mormon, Chicago and other theatres! Also enjoyed the close proximity to the park! I just zipped up 8th and into the park for my morning run, it was perfect! We will stay again. Only drawback was the sometimes […] slow elevators! "Belvedere NY"
A block off resturant row and just up fro Times Square makes up for the fact that this hotel is in need of an update in the rooms. Water issues and in room climate challenges a bit disappointing.

I don't know why everyone doesn't stay at the Belvedere Hotel It is within walking distance of Central Park, Rockefeller Center, Times Square, great restaurants, theaters and is reasonably priced. The rooms are large by NY standards and have a microwave and refrigerator. This is my go to hotel in NY now when I visit from California.

"Great stay"
Our stay was only one night but I really liked the location and the price was the very affordable. The room was very clean and the service was courteous. I slept well all night. Only complaint was that the toilet flush was very very loud. I will be back.
"Clean and Inexpensive"
The room was clean as was the rest of the hotel. The TV didn't work, I ask to have it fixed twice without success. I was only in the room for sleeping so it never was a crisis but the lack of response was dissapointing.

Great location, one block away from time square. Food around this place is really good. The walls are thick so you can't hear the neighbors. Only complaint, the room was very hot so we slept with the window opened and it's a block away from the fire department so you'll hear it eventually, but it's NY it's suppose to be a little noisy. My wife and I booked this hotel last minute to come up to the city for the Giants parade. I was a little weary that we found such a cheap price within the city, but upon arrival those fears were put to rest. The check staff was very courteous and our room was clean and sizeable. "Cute hotel!"
Lovely place to stay! Great location and friendly staff. Only one complaint : the hot water in the shower was inconsistent. Hot then cold and vice versa. Overall, would stay there again.

The Belvedere was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It's a 5-10 minute walk to Times Square and the subway stations. It's certainly not a five-star hotel, as you can tell from the age of the elevators, but the rooms are just what you need if you're simply using them as a comfortable place to sleep and have as a base for your sight-seeing. If you want to be in the middle of it all, this is a great choice. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and the room was very spacious. Would highly recommend!
