"would go back"
I stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and it was alright hotel. This year i wanted to try another hotel but my boyfriend loves to stay here so we ended up staying here. "No significant problems."
In general, the location was good for a stranger to Dublin. The hotel itself was very good -- no major problems, although the very narrow bathtub could have been improved by a curved shower curtain rod. The staff was pleasant, well-informed and helpful. They responded quickly to any request. Breakfasts were good, typical for a hotel of this level. Heating […] was slow and not too dependable for the cold, wet weather we had in October. The rooms facing the back of the hotel were quiet. We would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Loved it! Perfect!"
The location couldn't have been more perfect, close to shopping, sites, great pubs. Staff was super friendly and helpful, just made my 4 night stay very enjoyable! The bar/lounge area was great to relax and catch up on email, with an excellent Irish coffee. The piano player added to the atmosphere. the rooms were charming, the bed was very comfortable. "Value at great location"
Spacious, up-to-date, courteous, flexible, wi-fi everywhere--small hotel personal service with larger hotel amenities. Over a 2 week period we stayed there 3 different times for a total of 5 nights--had no reason to seek an alternative.Genuine Expedia guest review

The hotel and staff were exceptional. They were very kind and showed an interest in us. Great location and rather easy to find. The hotel staff is great, many of them remembered our name (we were only there 3 nights). Worth the price if you are looking in this range.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, awesome service and attitude."
Brooks Hotel is in a perfect location to explore Dublin and within walking distance of almost everything. "Not good for the disabled!"
Great location, nice rooms, and kind staff, but the beds are too high for the elderly and disabled. We had to change hotels as a result.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Brooks Hotel in Dublin almost perfect"
This hotel is very clean, friendly, and convenient. Definately a "boutique" hotel, and nicely absent of the big chain commercial atmosphere. My room was spacious, and the bath was typical of Europe. Really quite nice from my experiences. There were two small issues during our stay. First, the iron and ironing board in the room are near impossible to […] use due to their built in location in a closet. Second, the power outlets above the desk did not work. Other than that, our stay was very enjoyable. Check out the Hairy Lemon right next door for a good food and great Guiness! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Brooks Hotel in Dublin"
This hotel has a great location, within walking distance of dining, shopping and sightseeing. A typical city-style hotel. Staff did not go out of their way to give you that welcome feeling. The lower priced rooms were VERY small.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A good hotel in an even better location"
The staff was very friendly and the rooms spacious and comfortable, with the exception of some alley noise at nights. No Wi-fi in the rooms but it was available in the lobby. All in all, […] a great stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great find in Dublin-cozy but posh hotel"
The Brooks Hotel was better than we expected. It's situated in a perfect location (2 blocks from St. Stephen's Green and Grafton St. shopping) and is also quite close to Temple Bar. The staff was wonderful, the room service was prompt and served delicious food, and the room was beautiful with the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever stayed in. Our room […] far surpassed all other European hotel rooms I've stayed in-it was clean, spacious, comfortable, and very nicely decorated. I am planning on staying there for my next visit to Dublin. Additionally, it's less expensive than most hotels in that area, yet the hotel is nicer than other hotels in that area-go figure! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Brooks Hotel in Dublin"
This boutique hotel is located on a quiet little street just around the corner from Stephen's Green and a short walk to Temple Bar. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed warmly and treated kindly throughout. I would definitely return to this hotel. The sleeping and bathrooms were large for Europe; they even have a pillow menu. My only suggestion […] is to not use so much fragrance throughout the hotel; not everyone enjoys overly perfumed rooms. "Great location"
The hotel was very nice ... in a great location. We didn't have hot water one morning due to a broken pump, though. Also, we had requested no down comforters or pillows due to an allergy but this was forgotten.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location"
This was my husband's and my first time to Ireland. The location of the hotel was great. Its on a charming and quiet street that is just steps away from eateries, shops, and two grocery stores (one gourmet, one standard). The staff at the hotel was very accomodating. The room was smaller than I expected but was more than sufficient because it was well-designed- […] I especially liked the small sitting area near the bay window to have a morning cup of coffee. There were a couple broken cabinet doors that were not essential and flushing the toilet made a very loud sound. And, because our room was at the end of the hall, we were not able to get wifi in our room- which we did want (the port didn't work either). Nevertheless, it was a good stay and we are glad it was next door to the Hairy Lemon (pub/restaurant)- we had some nice evenings there. They have good food and the best bread pudding! "Very good stay"
My only VERY minor complaint is the room had insufficient plugs. I had to crawl around under a desk to find an outlet for my electronics. The hotel was a good value for the price I got it for, with "extras." Be aware that car parking is very expensive in Dublin; make sure you park in the "right" lot so you can get the hotel's negotiated rate.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Brooks Hotel, Dublin, Ireland"
Sadly, we only stayed one night at the Brooks Hotel after arriving in Ireland. It was conveniently located to restaurants, shops and tourist sites. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. "Brooks is brilliant!"
The hotel is very well positioned, close to transport, shopping in Grafton St, Trinity College, the Green, restaurants, museums, Temple Bar, grocery stores, Browns (great department store) and Butlers (great for coffee and hot chocolate - we were there in the depths of winter). Everything is within walking distance. The hotel has an onsite restaurant, […] a comfortable and popular bar, good lobby, a wonderful sitting room/library with internet access, gym and free internet in the rooms. "At home feel with a perfect location"
This hotel was great! Arrived at about 5:30am on a flight from Boston and they had a room ready for us and had absolutely no problem letting us check in that early. The staff was very welcoming, courteous, and helpful. It is in a perfect location for access to anywhere in the city, and is within walking distance to just about anything you could possibly […] need. That being said, it can be a bit noisy at night, but that should be expected considering you are right next to Grafton Street. So the location is worth the little bit of noise. Also, the room was a little smaller than what we are used to, but everything was very nicely done and the common areas/hallways gave a real "at home" feeling. It completely surpassed our expectations, especially for the price we paid! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent Value in Prime Location"
I recently had a wonderful five night stay at the Brooks Hotel with my wife and teenage daughter. We were within walking distance of most of the site-seeing, shopping, and dining destinations in addition to a ton of fun Irish pubs. The neighborhood felt very safe both day and night, although there was a little bit of evening street noise that could […] be heard in the room, however not enough to be a major disturbance. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was fine, although there were better options within a short walk. The lounge is a lovely, relaxing space . . . perfect to enjoy a drink and unwind. Yes, the rooms are smallish as is typical in Eurpoe, however we didn't find them to be excessively so (and with the discounted Expedia rates we were able to reserve two rooms for our trip which provided an extra measure of comfort). We found the hotel to be an excellent value overall and with its ideal location, we strongly recommend it. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Loved this Dublin hotel"
We stayed here for six nights. The room was lovely - very comfortable bed, lots of nice little details, e.g. teamaking equipment with real cups. The staff was out of this world -- always helpful -- with a great concierge. We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel (a little pricey in comparison with nearby cafes) but we ate at the bar twice and in the restaurant […] once. Both of these were comparable to restaurant prices elsewhere and the food and the service were very good. The location is fantastic -- surrounded by shops and restaurants and very close to Trinity College, the main shopping district, Temple Bar and most of the museums.
