Great for the price. So glad I didn't pay double at close by hotels.I was happy with the room. Front desk nice. Breakfast choices were just OK. But had a danish and oj. the danish was wrap and I microwaved it and it was good. My friend had coffee and danish. He was fine with it. I would recommend hotel. It seemed safe. Clean. And friendly..

The hotel room was very clean and had a nice TV. However, it took 10 minutes at the front desk before anyone greeted us. There were also some minor maintenance issues. Overall it was a decent room for the price and the location was great!

The staff was friendly and the room clean and spacious. I stayed there to avoid the high cost of hotels closer to DC. I was pleasantly surprised to find that route 1 (jefferson davis hwy) was right outside the hotel with a stop light. I turned left, and drove straight into DC. One would think that the freeways would be faster, but they are so congested […] with so many trucks, and from listening to the freeway traffic reports, I think I made a wise decision to take the street route. This place is a complete dump. I think it's being used as an "hourly" hotel. Absolutely filthy, smelled horrible, sheets had not been changed, bed covered with pubic hair. The worst place I have ever stayed.

What can I say, if you want inexpensive this is it. Not much to say about the place. Breakfast was terrible, bagels out of a plastic bag, all cars, and juices in a large ice dispenser, not appealing, and no place to sit. I would not recommend it but there are not too many places that I would for that cost.

Inns of Virginia was not the best place but not the worst either. It was clean and was not afraid to sleep in the room or walk through the halls. The hallway carpet is in need of shampooing and the continental breakfast could be better than day out poppy seed muffins, frozen danishes, and sourdough bread for toast.

While the hotel was generally clean and maintained, I felt unsafe in the area. There was a questionable-looking young man using the phone and one hanging around in the parking lot when I got there. When I left the hotel at 2 a.m., there were two young men in the parking lot making a transaction.

We just needed to stay the night near the Potomac Mills Outlet Mall. Staff was courteous and the location was great at 5 miles . The room had a bad musky smell, rug looked dirty, beat and faded including the hallway rug. The sink was cracked and electric wall outlet was loose. Free breakfast was inadequate with only coffee, bagles, sliced bread, orange […] juice a few pre-packed bread fillings. When we pulled into the parking lot, there was a group of men outside smoking. As it turns out, it is an extended stay hotel. If I had known that, I would not have booked there. There were cigarette butts all over the sidewalks and exits/entrances. The second floor where the continental breakfast was located, was disgustingly dirty and smelled like […] an ashtray. The continental breakfast was a disaster! The coffee was disgusting, there were tea bags but no hot water, two juices, and some less than fresh bagels and mini-muffins. No cereal or fresh fruits was available. There were 3 women in my group and it is very uncomfortable to get out of your car and be leered at by men standing around smoking. The halls of the hotel were dirty, and although the rooms were clean, they needed maintenance to fix the exhaust fan that was falling out of the wall, scuff marks high on walls, and the general appearance of the room seemed tacky. The location of the hotel is on a side street, (dead end). It looked very old from the outside and very dull. in entering it was the same inside, but it was late and we were tired. Went out to get something to eat and when we came back in we had to go thru the smokers. They were sitting on the steps in front of the lobby just puffing away. Whilr this is a silightly older facility ( maybe the building is 15 years old and in a quasi industrial area) it was very clean and comfortable. No Wi-fi or internet in roomsand no free breakfast or on site restaurant. A few are located a couple of blocks away but if you are alone I'd suggest finding a drive trhu and going back to your room. For a basic, […] just sleep and go, stay it was fine. I sleep soundly so the train sounds did not bother me until I woke up. If you are a light sleeper this probably isn't your best bet. The Inns of Virginia is an older hotel. Found only three outlets in the room with extension cords that were not up to code ran to lamps, tv, coffee pot and for general use. Microwave and refrigerator also plugged into the same outlet. Phone cord was plugged into an empty box and of course did not work. Asked for towels (only 2 towels and 1 hand towel […] and 1 washcloth in room) was told they did not have any available, asked again that afternoon and was told we had to wait. Beds were comfortable, room was fairly cleaned, shower worked great but very concerned about visitors staying in a hotel that could not possibly be up to electrical code. Read more

I liked the room and the Hotel receiptioness was awesome. The only part I don't like is that I am a fisherman fishing the FLW-BFL tournament and it is very difficult to hook up to electric to charge my batteries in my boat after practic because there are no available outlets. There is one spot to where I can charge my batteries in the whole parking […] lot. If I don't get that spot then it is a big inconvenience because I have to have my batteries charged for the tournament day. If they had outlets for fishermen to hook up to then I believe they would get a lot more business. There are not a whole lot of Hotels that have this convenience in Woodbridge/ Dumfries area. The investment would be well worth it because of the Waters Edge Restaurant (awesome place I might add) that is right next to it. The only other problem is that there are no smoking rooms available. My partner and I both smoke and it messes our routine up when ther eis such greaat pressure on us for the tournament. There should be a few rooms available for smokers. The hotel was not in the best location. It was difficult to drive into parking lot from access road. Driver had to make sharp left into opposite lane to be able to get into the parking lot. The "continental breakfast" is your choice of white bread for toast or a bagel. Limited juice selection and no fresh fruit. There were no hair dryers in the bathrooms […] and the bathroom was extremely small. The drapes did not work well and there was no coffee service for the coffee maker in the room. The bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. The walls were not sound proof and hall noises could be heard all night. I would not recommend this facility unless you are exhausted or desperate.
