"Great choice!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

"Good mid-price choice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.
"2 nights in Vancouver."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

"really cool and comfy!"
This hotel surprised me a lot. I normally stay with fairmont or marriott, I liked this one so much more. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfy! The view of the water is awesome, its right by pubs and shopping. You can tell mgmt has a sense of humor because the welcome cards they leave are hilarious. I can see this hotel appealing to the […] young and old. Oh and room service was FAST and the food was soooooo goooooood! The only downside (if you consider this a downside) is its right by trains, if you are a light sleeper and its a Friday night, they are blowing their horns right outside of your window at 2am. Luckily I was on vacation with no agenda so I didn't care, normally Id be cranky about that. I want to finish this positive sandwich review with a note about the fact that the 'teachings of buddha' was in the desk drawer (of course there's a bible too), but as an athiest, it was really cool to see something other than the bible and the book of mormon in a hotel. THANK YOU FOR THE CHANGE, FOR ONCE! Anyway, Stay here and check it out for yourself! Read more
"Nice hotel"
Everything was good except the gym needs to update it's equipment a little
"Inn at the Quay in New Westminister BC"
Staff was friendly but the inn was overbooked. We reserved a double queen 6 weeks in advance and was initially told nothing but a single queen was available. It eventually got resolved with the managers help. Rooms on the east side of the inn receive a lot of nearby restaurant noise at night. Otherwise a pleasant location. The amount of chlorine in […] the hot tub was caustic and rendered it unusable. Generally the room and overall condition was good. Was it a good value? - debatable. Read more

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights in a queen room on the west side of the hotel. The room had a great view and was clean and modern. However, we had several mornings when we were awoken at 8am by the cleaning ladies vacuuming the hallway, and then during the week they started painting the rooms, and power washing the balcony's of the rooms above us. […] We were traveling with our infant son who wasn't able to nap much. We also had several relatives who stayed on the east side of the hotel where the balcony's overlooked a local bar that had live music until 1am in the morning! They asked to be moved, but were told there were no double rooms on the other side of the hotel, and that they would not give them 2 single rooms at the same price even though the hotel was not at full capacity. Also you had to pay $6 a day to park in the hotels (empty) garage, plus and additional $1.98 a day in taxes for that parking spot! The location was convenient and close to the skytrain, and there was a nice riverwalk to the west of the hotel with nice views, but the shops to the east were all a little run down, or only included wedding dress shops. Overall we were not very impressed by this hotel. The area is up and coming, and will probably be quite nice in a few years, and if you can deal with the noise it is a very nice place to stay. "Inn on the Quay Vancouver - Great value for money"
We chose this hotel partly because the rate was cheap and the reviews were good. Parking was cheap but no free breakfast but it was available for about $10 for continental and WiFi was free and fast. Hotel very clean and modern, wide flat screen tv, stone benchtops in the bathroom and every room has a small balcony and view of the river. The boardwalk […] along the river was always full of people out strolling, walking their dog etc. Area had a nice vibe and plenty of pubs and good restaurants close by. The restaurant on the ground floor had brilliant food at a reasonable price. Only negatives were bed was not King Size, no microwave which I personally like, and the area is about 20km from CBD. Quick rail link is very close however and we had a car so it wasn't a problem. Always something to see on the river and plenty of shopping nearby for those who want it. Because of freeway system getting anywhere was easy with help of GPS (essential). The value for money and comfort levels were very good. Highly recommended if CBD location not desired. Read more

"Very Clean, Good Price"
Our stay was very pleasent ,nice clean room and there was alot to do close by. Pillows way to thick and hard
"Excellent Hotel"
This was a classy, impressive hotel. The room had a comfortable bed with soft, big pillows. No matter where your room is you get a great view of the boardwalk and water. The Skytrain is visible from the hotel and takes about 5 - 10 minutes to walk to.
"Inn at the Quay, Gateway to "The Boathouse""
Great hotel, and The Boathouse restaurant is exceptional. Beautiful cuisine, great view and service from both! I would give a high recommendation to both ...and my compliments to the staff and management for my enjoyable experience! Bill
Unfortunately, the next morning we were unable to have a shower because the water valve would not supply the water. An inconvenience which did not matter

"Inn at the Quay in New Westminster BC"
Small, but very comfortable and clean, quiet room with lovely view of the Fraser River. Crisp white bed linen and lots of comfortable pillows. Complimentary chocolates on arrival - yum! The staff were consistently friendly and very helpful. Good restaurant and lounge next door with waterfront seating. Close to amenities, but the short walk into the […] downtown is a bit daunting along busy railroad tracks. Overall, though, very comfortable accommodation. Read more

"Inn @ the Quay - New Westminster"
The hotel itself was lovely, just not in a very convienient area, not close to where you want to be (half hr away from Vancouver City) and there is a freight train right at the front which blows its horn continuously every time it passes regardless of the time! Not many family friendly restaurants in the area at all so maybe it would be OK for business, […] not a family holiday. It was not what we expected from the photos and we didn't know the area coming from Australia Read more
Staff very friendly and helpful. Close to all the things that we needed. The train in the early morning could be an issue but we were able to adjust . At the time of booking we would have liked to have been advised of the parking costs per day.
"Inn at the Quay in New Westminster"
The Inn was, overall, a nice place to stay. Positives: 1. The Inn staff were very friendly and courteous. 2. The Inn is clean, bright, and has nice decor. The room was a good size, and the house-keeping staff did great work to keep it clean and welcoming. Negatives: 1. The Inn is off the beaten path somewhat, being across the railroad tracks from the […] rest of New West, and alongside the river. 2. With its location, nothing is within walking distance, which means having to drive or taxi everywhere. 3. The Inn is also quite noisy, with noise from the trains on those railroad tracks, and from marine vessels on the river. 4. There is no restaurant on-site, although there is one nearby. But that means putting coat, etc. on to brave the cold and wet weather. All this considered, the Inn is a nice place, but somewhat overpriced, given the noted negatives. Read more
"Looking a bit tattered"
We stayed for two nights. Hotel staff were polite and helpful. Carpet was looking a bit old and should be replaced soon. The whirlpool was out of service which was a great disappointment for us. Breakfast at the restaurant (part of the hotel property) was quite expensive. All in all, not bad but could it could use a refreshing facelift.
Hall Way noise and noise from adjoining room was louder than normal. Otherwise the Hotel and staff were awesome. Room was very clean and comfortable. Boathouse Restaurant Food was great, Paddlewheeler Pub next doors was equally good and entertaining.
"hotel was great"
We only stayed in the hotel for one night and it was great. The staff was friendly and the hotel room was very clean. Location was perfect! The only complaint is the towels. My husband tried 2 different bath towels and both left fluff all over him they were falling apart and we were picking fluff off him all day. Other then that we had a great stay […] . Read more

"Inn at the Quay New Westminster BC Canada"
It was a very nice place to stay. I got an on line deal from hotels.com so that is what encouraged me to try it as I had a wedding reception to attend nearby.
