Dark and dingy room...dirty and old...smoke smell throughout the hotel...only good thing was the flat screen TV...parking was a nightmare...valet parking at check-in was good...but, after check-out, had to walk 2 blocks to designated valet spot.

The hotel rooms are horrible not even the carpet is clean, I asked for an extra towels and they said they did have more they didn't clean my room until the next day the shower wasn't clean either I would give a half of star because the place is so run down n I paid $300 a night.

DO NOT stay HERE!!!! There is no management. Housekeeping made my bed but they They ran out of towels. So I had nothing to dry myself with as they even took the used towels. got even less. The lighting in the room was dark, the lamp didn't work. The outlets in the bathroom didn't work. The carpet was very old...sheets and the 2 towels and 1 washcloth for 2 of us were stained. We didn't get the complimentary wifi in our room and no attempt to figure why.However, they did 'clean' what they could of the dingy room and they […] tried to help so service was good..for what they have to work with. We saw no bugs but we did go out and buy an air freshener for the smelly moldy room and beach towels because they do not have any even though we are across the street from the beach. Yes the hotel is close to the restaurants and the beach; however that is the only nice thing about it. The room was horrible. The bed sinks in when you sleep and very springy. The hotel is located on a great street in the heart of everything. With that said, like other reviews, the towels are a miss. I was told that because the hotel was booked they didn't have any more towels and wouldn't have any until the morning. Considering I like to stay clean, I went in search of towels and washclothes for myself and my boyfriend. […] Needless to say, morning came and we did not receive any towels. When you immediately walk to your room, for me, it felt like some old creepy place for people who stay and pay every week. Like a boarding house. We were in the back and apparently there was an alley in the back with a basketball rim because we heard people having a jolly old time playing. We assumed that later in the evening they would be gone. Good news! they were gone and replaced by someone banging with a hammer and other tools. My boyfriend thought it may be Christmas decorations but to me it sounded like they were replacing a roof or possibly building a house altogether at midnight. Read the reviews for this hotel so I was expecting it not to be what I am use to but because of the festival that was going on all the hotels were booked, this one was not and seeing it was in an ideal location I thought it would make up for whatever was wrong with it, I was so wrong the outside is nasty, the inside is nasty, the service was terrible […] and the rooms are dirty and smells of mildew and mold. My group and I actually stayed at another hotel not on ocean drive and ate the cost of this one. Great hotel for the money. This hotel will put you in right in the heart of SB and the beach is directly across the street. Beautiful at night with the neons and the staff was great. All we needed was something clean, comfortable, cool, and with a hot shower. If you want fancier, upgrade to the deluxe or go elsewhere.

The hotel location is really good but the room is so small and in the morning you can hear the nose of the pepole who work in the restaurant any way it a hotel for one night stay for me . Good luck and enjoy the beach. And to park your car is another problem they will charge 22$ and every time you need your car you have to wait 20 to 30 min

It was awful! It looked nothing like the Picture online. We saw a live cockroach ON THE BED not 5 minutes into our stay, she laughed at me when we asked for roach spray. We slept on top of the blankets on the bed WITH THE LIGHTS ON so we would not be infested. Ice machine was also broken so we HAD TO PAY EXTRA money to the bar for ice.
