Everything was great except for the A/C wasn't very good. Overall this "suite motel" is a good value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for"
Second time we stayed here. Different experience, paid for queen size bed and got a double. Front desk clerk insisted our double bed was a queen size.Pillows were the worst I;ve had in tens years. So we went out and bought 3 new pillows.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

We enjoyed our stay at this place. good service and nice people at the front desk. TV's and cable could be upgradedGenuine Hotels.com guest review

room was great , bed was too low and hard. Did not sleep wellGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good deal for the money"
The suites have simple, southwest rustic furnishings that are warm and attractive. Our suite had an adequate kitchenette with a twin hide-a-bed sofa sleeper. Breakfast is very so so... Too small a space but I suppose for a longer stay we would just use the kitchenette!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Filthy carpet. Bedding threadbare and terrible bed. TV antiquated. Shower was uselessGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Ask about location before you book hotel..."
Its was more like staying in a dirty apartment with uncomfortable beds, stained carpets and malfunctioning air conditioner. The hotel was also much further than I was told from the center of Sante Fe. Needed to take a cab or drive depending on what you are planning on doing. Area was also a bit sketchy...Ahhh and the free breakfast consisted of unwrapped […] store bought muffins...toast and watered down juice....but the cold coffee was great (sarcasm). We were pleased with our stay. We needed a basic place to stay for our week at the Opera. The staff works to be helpful. A chain on the door would be a welcome addition for security. Beds were comfortable and the room was kept very clean. It is a straight shot up St. Francis to the Opera.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Basic, basic, basic"
The pillows were flat, the bed was hard and the toilet was unstable. The outside was beautiful, unfortunately the rooms need help.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Just okay for me. Good price though."
Overall the room was clean but the bed spread could have definitely used some washing! Mattress was very worn. Pillows not very fluffy. Aside from the bed though, everything else was great. Oh, I got a morning wake up call at 6am I didn't ask for or set up. That was not good as I had a hard time sleeping in the first place. They said you had to turn […] it off but didn't tell me that! "A Great Find in Santa Fe"
This is a well-located, attractive, budget hotel perfect for our week at the Santa Fe Opera. Close to I-25, it has excellent access to the opera, shopping, casinos and sightseeing. A car is an absolute must, but a supermarket, Sandwich Shop, pharmacy, nail salon and Papa Murphy's is a 5 minute stroll from the suites. Old Town is about 15 minutes away, […] so it's the best of both worlds. Housekeeping was efficient and gracious (it helps to have a little Spanish), but sometimes it took until 4pm to have my room done. The staff is excellent, the bed soft, but comfortable, and the little kitchenette with fridge, microwave and dishwasher was great. I had dish washer powder and a sparse collection of silverware, while my family's unit had more dishes and glasses, but no dish washer soap. Anything you need can be picked up at the nearby Albertson's or asked for at the front desk where everyone was very accommodating. Breakfast was from 5:30 to 9:30 and had variety of juices, Danish, breads, English muffins, cereals, and coffee. The only real negative was that unit doors don't have a chain or a bolt for added security, so bring your own old fashioned door stopper for especially if traveling alone. For the price, I'd say that the Santa Fe Suites gets 5 Stars as a budget hotel and is a great place to stay if you have access to a car. I'll definitely return for my next Opera Week! If there are any issues with the room, they go to great legnths to make sure im comfortable.I will stay there again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed 3 days, only slight issue was housekeeping didn't replace the correct number of towels and the bathmat. It was promptly fixed by the front desk. It was convenient to downtown locations and also other sightseeing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is very convenient and with easy access to the main roads. Its quiet and clean and a great value. I like staying here because they have kitchenette.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great room in a convenient location"
Room was neat, clean and I appreciated the kitchenette. Wi-fi was adequate and access to parking good. Free breakfast is always a plus.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice clean and inexpensive"
It was a good place to sleep but it would have been nice to have had a pool to cool off in. Not a problem tho we dealt with it. Friendly employees nice location easy to get to . Overall satisfied.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, good for 1 night! Great price!"
Nice neighborhood but hard to find from St Francis rd. Need more lighting sources in room. Need more pillows!! At least 2 for each person. Horrible smelling lotion !! Cheap soap! Obviously new, great carpeting had huge "grease spot" on.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel advertised suites that slept four people- if two of them are small children! The pull-out sofa bed was an oversized twin mattress. The room did not have sufficient towels and no pillows for the sofa-bed. Upon request we received towels, but the clerk said he did not have access to extra bedding. If you want a suite that resembles a low-end […] motel room, this is the place. No frills and well-worn bedding and carpeting. Don't judge a book by its cover photo. "Might do for some"
The place had a kitchenette, but the dishwasher was broken and the pan & pot were in miserable condition. The front window was cracked badly and the bedsheets were threadbare. The place just had a shabby appearance. Might be OK to use as a base in the area if you're willing to provide your own kitchen utensils and don't mind the distance from the downtown […] area. Bring your own sheets and pillows. Convenient to the highway; excellent supermarket just a 1 minute walk from the door. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was just fine, however, 4 out of 6 dryers were not functioningGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This was a good hotel if you're just basically sleeping there and/or you want the ability to cook for yourself. Me, my wife, our 8 yr old, 6 yr old, and 10 month old slept comfortably a double full room. They had only stocked the bathroom with 2 towels, 2 hand towels, and 2 wash clothes; so we had to ask the front desk for more upon arrival....twice. […] The kitchen was stocked with pots/pans, dishes, and basic utensils. Although there's no gym, there are some nice, quiet areas to jog in nearby residential areas. Breakfast was not impressive and neither was the coffee. There is, however, an Albertson's with a Starbucks in it within about 500 feet walking distance. We definitely recommend skipping breakfast at the hotel. The drive to The Plaza area and Sanbusco shopping center was about 10-20 min, depending on traffic. Stay was relatively quiet. Even being so close to the highway and shopping center, there was hardly any noise. The property is a little older and, if you're paying attention, you will notice. "Good place for short visit"
I got there late and basically only slept there. It was fine. Nothing amazing or awe-inspiring, but it worked for my circumstance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was very disappointed when I entered my room after a long day of traveling and found a carpet so dirty I didn't want to walk on it. Unfortunately, every alternative room that was offered to me had the same filthy carpet issue. After one night stay, I moved to another hotel for the rest of the week. I must say they were kind enough to refund my pre-payment […] for this inconvenience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Fairly close (within 8-10 minutes) of downtown plaza area. Room was clean. We enjoyed the kitchenette setting with the table. Only stayed 2 nights but was the best deal in that part of town. Breakfast was only bread/pastry items, no hot items. Other than that, a great stay. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hidden bargain-will definitely stay there again"
the place was clean, modern and very convenient. Had smoke alarm battery chirping at midnight, staff came right over and changed the battery. great bargain for a room with a kitchen. place is kind of hidden behind a strip mall. Saved $ by cooking breakfast in room. Only bad thing-instant coffee and no protein selections at free hotel breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Bring your own pillow. I have stayed here twice in the last two years and I would recommend staying. Love having the fridge in the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Convienent, c,ean, quiet, off the main street so no traffic. Good kitchen equipment . Will stay there again next time I am in Santa FeGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great value for the price. Nicely appointed kitchenette. Tile floors. Wooden furniture. Hand made iron lamp and hooks. Convenient location near a grocery store; free parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The motel can be difficult to find. The address does not come up on GPS and the sign from the street is small. People must drive through a shopping center.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Better than I thought for the price!"
We really enjoyed our stay at Santa Fe Suites. It was like staying in a little apartment. My only complaint was that the first night the sheets on my bed were dirty. When I complained, the desk attendant gave me a new set. The next morning I talked to the manager who was very nice about the incident and made sure that the sheets were perfectly clean […] from that day forward! I would recommend them to anyone! Friendly staff. The facilities were in average condition mostly clean. The location was a little out of the way. Worth the rates. Will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hey, if you want that very nice hotel right on the plaza, then go stay there and pay their prices! This is a good hotel for the price. Not super fancy, but clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable. I will definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You don't always get what you want"
We did not expect such worn out accommodations in town. The suite had an ill equipped kitchenette with no dish towels or waste bins. The room, carpet and decor were well worn. If you require more than shampoo and soap, you better bring what you need. The room was noisy particularly in the early morning as most of the guests were just stopping in for […] a quick sleep and heading out on the road early. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK but far from great"
The picture showed a room with a dining table and 4 chairs. We had a bar with 2 stools. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, there were cigarette burns on the carpet and it smelled of smoke. The staff did nothing to correct this. The TV was so dark the first night you could barely see it, found out later the staff have a remote and can fix it so […] that was better 2nd night of stay. The front deck girl was very difficult to communicate with and other guest were saying the same thing yet this went unaddressed by management. The location, if it is a first time stay or in Santa Fe is hard to find. I asked for directions and a cross street, they could not give an accurate answer. Found it by default with the help of a local who said they would have had problems finding it if they weren't from the neighborhood. It is quiet! The beds were OK but not even close to the quality you get from other big name chains. Guess it goes to show... You get what you pay for. And if you do stay here, be ready to go get amenities, they only give you a small bar soap, shampoo and a lotion. Their listing also said they have a free breakfast. The area is very small and tight, the breakfast is a light continental only. But, there is a grocery store close! (LOL!) If you need a long term place to stay, then They would be OK! "Not worth it..."
You can find better options for a similar price. We were optimistic, as the outside appeared to be in nice shape. However, the shower was mildewed and smelled, broken closet door, inconsistent water temps, lighting was very poor (doesn't seem like a big deal until you realize you can't see anything in the living room...) and our towels and pillowcases […] were left hanging on the doorknob that evening, since the room was not finished being cleaned apparently when we checked in. Bed was the least comfortable I have experienced during any hotel stay. Glad it was just one night spent passing through, but we did not feel comfortable there and would not recommend to other travelers. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good Low Budget hideaway"
The Queen bedroom suite was very comfortable and clean. Bring your own pots as the selection in the kitchenette is scarce. Good location close to to I-25 and only 10 min to the plaza and related sites.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Very close to grocery store. Very comfortable area to enter and exit for freeway or downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was filthy and maintenance was terrible. The first room had a broken table, broken door casing with nails still in the wall, and carpet looked like mud. Second room no better. "June trip to Santa Fe"
Kitchen pans were too old to cook in. Sheets on the bed were old as was the mattress and pillows. The microwave did not work. The staff in the office and the house keeping staff were good. "good extended stay spot"
This was our second time staying at the Santa Fe Suites. Love the roomy bathroom, and kitchen facilities... great for an extended stay, though ours was not this time. Sleeper sofa in the room was well worn and not comfy to sit on.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I wasn't sure I would be able to afford to stay in Santa Fe in the summer. This hotel was inexpensive and made it possible. The room was small, but had everything I needed. It was clean although shabby, the shower was a little pathetic, and the quality of the bedding was pretty sad. The kitchenette made it possible to save money on dining out, but don't […] expect to cook real meals. It wasn't well equipped. The breakfast was lacking in food choices - breads, cereals and pastries only. But for the price, I wouldn't expect more. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
