"Good place for short visit"
I got there late and basically only slept there. It was fine. Nothing amazing or awe-inspiring, but it worked for my circumstance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Fairly close (within 8-10 minutes) of downtown plaza area. Room was clean. We enjoyed the kitchenette setting with the table. Only stayed 2 nights but was the best deal in that part of town. Breakfast was only bread/pastry items, no hot items. Other than that, a great stay. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hidden bargain-will definitely stay there again"
the place was clean, modern and very convenient. Had smoke alarm battery chirping at midnight, staff came right over and changed the battery. great bargain for a room with a kitchen. place is kind of hidden behind a strip mall. Saved $ by cooking breakfast in room. Only bad thing-instant coffee and no protein selections at free hotel breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable. Bring your own pillow. I have stayed here twice in the last two years and I would recommend staying. Love having the fridge in the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Convienent, c,ean, quiet, off the main street so no traffic. Good kitchen equipment . Will stay there again next time I am in Santa FeGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great value for the price. Nicely appointed kitchenette. Tile floors. Wooden furniture. Hand made iron lamp and hooks. Convenient location near a grocery store; free parking.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The motel can be difficult to find. The address does not come up on GPS and the sign from the street is small. People must drive through a shopping center.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Better than I thought for the price!"
We really enjoyed our stay at Santa Fe Suites. It was like staying in a little apartment. My only complaint was that the first night the sheets on my bed were dirty. When I complained, the desk attendant gave me a new set. The next morning I talked to the manager who was very nice about the incident and made sure that the sheets were perfectly clean […] from that day forward! I would recommend them to anyone! Friendly staff. The facilities were in average condition mostly clean. The location was a little out of the way. Worth the rates. Will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hey, if you want that very nice hotel right on the plaza, then go stay there and pay their prices! This is a good hotel for the price. Not super fancy, but clean, comfortable, convenient, and affordable. I will definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You don't always get what you want"
We did not expect such worn out accommodations in town. The suite had an ill equipped kitchenette with no dish towels or waste bins. The room, carpet and decor were well worn. If you require more than shampoo and soap, you better bring what you need. The room was noisy particularly in the early morning as most of the guests were just stopping in for […] a quick sleep and heading out on the road early. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"OK but far from great"
The picture showed a room with a dining table and 4 chairs. We had a bar with 2 stools. It was supposed to be a non-smoking room, there were cigarette burns on the carpet and it smelled of smoke. The staff did nothing to correct this. The TV was so dark the first night you could barely see it, found out later the staff have a remote and can fix it so […] that was better 2nd night of stay. The front deck girl was very difficult to communicate with and other guest were saying the same thing yet this went unaddressed by management. The location, if it is a first time stay or in Santa Fe is hard to find. I asked for directions and a cross street, they could not give an accurate answer. Found it by default with the help of a local who said they would have had problems finding it if they weren't from the neighborhood. It is quiet! The beds were OK but not even close to the quality you get from other big name chains. Guess it goes to show... You get what you pay for. And if you do stay here, be ready to go get amenities, they only give you a small bar soap, shampoo and a lotion. Their listing also said they have a free breakfast. The area is very small and tight, the breakfast is a light continental only. But, there is a grocery store close! (LOL!) If you need a long term place to stay, then They would be OK! "Not worth it..."
You can find better options for a similar price. We were optimistic, as the outside appeared to be in nice shape. However, the shower was mildewed and smelled, broken closet door, inconsistent water temps, lighting was very poor (doesn't seem like a big deal until you realize you can't see anything in the living room...) and our towels and pillowcases […] were left hanging on the doorknob that evening, since the room was not finished being cleaned apparently when we checked in. Bed was the least comfortable I have experienced during any hotel stay. Glad it was just one night spent passing through, but we did not feel comfortable there and would not recommend to other travelers. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent for the price"
It was very nice. The suite was like a mini home away from home. It had all the conveniences of home and close to a supermarket.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a great and affordable place. In a nice and quiet location. I recommend staying here!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good Low Budget hideaway"
The Queen bedroom suite was very comfortable and clean. Bring your own pots as the selection in the kitchenette is scarce. Good location close to to I-25 and only 10 min to the plaza and related sites.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for one night"
We were staying there one night as we drove West, which is plenty!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth it"
Air conditioner did not work, hair on bed sheets and on shower floor, bed very umcomfortable, was like sleeping on the floor, only two pillows on the bed, deadbolts on door did not lock, stains on the floorGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Very close to grocery store. Very comfortable area to enter and exit for freeway or downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room was filthy and maintenance was terrible. The first room had a broken table, broken door casing with nails still in the wall, and carpet looked like mud. Second room no better. We took a third room because it was late and the carpet was slightly cleaner. The third room also situated the A/C unit away from the bed. We slept in our clothes. Hard to […] find the hotel using electronic navigation. I would never recommend the hotel to a friend. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"June trip to Santa Fe"
Kitchen pans were too old to cook in. Sheets on the bed were old as was the mattress and pillows. The microwave did not work. The staff in the office and the house keeping staff were good. Located right off the freeway made it easy to find. The plaza also had an Albertsons', a pizza parlor, a Japanese restaurant, a Office Max Store and a Nail Salon […] which was convenient. "good extended stay spot"
This was our second time staying at the Santa Fe Suites. Love the roomy bathroom, and kitchen facilities... great for an extended stay, though ours was not this time. Sleeper sofa in the room was well worn and not comfy to sit on.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I wasn't sure I would be able to afford to stay in Santa Fe in the summer. This hotel was inexpensive and made it possible. The room was small, but had everything I needed. It was clean although shabby, the shower was a little pathetic, and the quality of the bedding was pretty sad. The kitchenette made it possible to save money on dining out, but don't […] expect to cook real meals. It wasn't well equipped. The breakfast was lacking in food choices - breads, cereals and pastries only. But for the price, I wouldn't expect more. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

It was greatGenuine Hotels.com guest review
enjoyed our stay. only downfall is the internet - no connection at all.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is very old decorated. You need to update your TV, and the refrigerator was doing very loud noises every hour, so it was very uncomfortable at night. One of the blind was missing, so we had sun light early in the morning, no way to sleep late. Also you need new couch. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi, it nvecer worked. If it doesn't work, do not […] advertise your hotel with it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap price but worn out."
We tried this place on the recommendations of an acquaintance. Overall it seemed clean enough but the bed, bedding and couch were so worn out that it had the feel of a cheap college students apartment. The water pressure in the shower was no more than a trickle. Yes the price for santa fe is great but not enough to keep us there. We left after the first […] night of a planned three night stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Must be some OLD pictures!"
When we got there the surrounding didn't look very well taken care of.In the lobby/breakfast area it's very dirty, stained furniture, just worn down looking. Same for the rooms, dirty, run down. Bedding isvery old, strings hanging off it. Bedspread was smelly, sheets thin and dingy. Room had 1 towel, wow could they spare it? Had room paid for for a […] week, stayed 1 night and got a refund.a/c didn't work properly. You would freeze sitting on the bed, rest of tiny room was hot. And lighting, what lighting, if you wanted any in bathroom you had to turn on heat lamp. Other than that a very dim light over the mirror. Place may have been nice years ago but not now. Figure pictures were taken when it was new. Very deceiving, For the price you get what you pay for. Looks like where home less people scrape up enough money for a night and go to. Too dirty for staying in. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Santa Fe Suites was out dated but, cute. Some updates and this place would be the bomb. "You could do better"
For the cost, you could do better. While clean, my room had a very lumpy, springy bed, lumpy pillows, ratty (torn, frayed) blanket. No charm whatever. Big fluorescent light in the room. I should not be surprised at this point with the quality of most American hotels in this price range, but the sheer lack of concern for basics like a nice bed with nice […] sheets and blankets astounds me. "Too Noisy For Peaceful Morning Sleep"
I booked this hotel for two nights after seeing previous positive reviews. It was a nice property but it's located behind a shopping center where trucks are going in/out of all morning long. There was also a high-pitched noise from an adjacent room using the water in the morning. If you're sensitive to noise, book somewhere quieter. We also kept getting […] wake-up calls every morning even though we didn't ask for any (found out you can program it yourself and they don't clear the previous occupant settings). "good for the price"
good for the price, but the front staff was abrupt at times and they do not have basic set of pans for the stoves. the couch was very uncomfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Rooms nice with full kitchen & dishes. Clean without sign of pests or previous tenant. Entrance difficult to find- buried back behind stores. Staff mediocr ... Entered room twice while I was inside, so I placed "do not disturb" sign for duration of my stay. Overall, not bad for the price. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best value in Santa Fe"
We have stayed at Santa Fe Suits many times over the years. It's a terrific value for the price and very convenient to anywhere in Santa Fe. The rooms have always been decently clean and the kitchenette is such a convenience. The staff is attentive too and the rooms, with their large window, are pleasant. We plan to stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place for the price"
The location was good. Friendly staff. The rooms were a little dated. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"clean and comfortable"
The room was clean and comfortable. It is nice to have a kitchen with micro, fridge, and range. The breakfast is continental, but adequate. We had to stop to get directions since the address is on St. Francis St. but you enter from Zia, and drive to the back of the grocery store. It was good quality for the price and we would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Old sheets, beds, carpet, furniture. Bad house keepers, never vacuumed my room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is my second stay at Santa Fe Suites. I love the room, the location and the price. The bed was not comfortable at all this time. There was a tiny mattress cover which slipped around all night. And the bottom sheets were flat sheets which did not stay tucked in, thus the sheets were all messed up by the time you moved a couple of times. Either the […] refrigerator or the water from the upstairs unit made awful noises when it shut off. It was kind of startling in the middle of the night. I think I would prefer to stay upstairs because of the noise. Also, since it is a pet friendly place, the carpet needs to be shampooed on a regular basis. I could smell urine on it, partially because it was raining and the humidity caused all those odors to come out. I would love to stay there again, but they really need to update their beds, or at the minimum, get good mattress covers and use flat sheets. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were expecting a bit of a dive, but this place is totally sweet! The staff is super friendly and helpful, the room is quint and homey feeling, everything was very clean. The only reason I don't give it a five for comfort is because the mattress was super hard and we both had soreness the next day. All they'd have to do is throw an inexpensive foam […] topper and it'd be golden! We enjoyed the feeling of home as they are just like little apartments and the neighborhood is very quiet. Lots of walking access to food. Oh and they had a healthy, not full of sugar, cereal on offer for the continental breakfast! That was an unusual bonus for me. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Customer service doesn't cost anything"
We had an issue with our reservation. The clerk behind the counter was argumentative, rude and no help at all. Given that there isn't much else this hotel could offer, it would have been refreshing if he had been even slightly polite. For a few dollars more the Residence Inn up the street is much nicer and has a better breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We enjoyed the stay. Great staff, easy I-25 access, good restaurant near the hotel and a grocery store too. The room was cozy and clean. Well worth the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Minor issues, but great deal overall"
Previous guest had left leftovers in the fridge and the largest towels in the room were hand towels, but the helpful guy at the front desk was quick to fix both of these issues. Place is located in a quiet business park. Kitchenette makes the place a great value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I live in southwest Kansas and was on a geocaching adventure when I made the reservation to this hotel. I made my selection on price, appeal and Internet access. When I got my room it was not what I expected. The bedspread had a hole in it and the air conditioner sounded like it was going to fall out of the wall and plunge to the ground below and I […] was on the second floor. Most of all I had very poor internet service to the point that it was not usable at all. I called the front desk only to be told that they knew about the problem and that is the way it is. This cost me finding a cache that I will have to return to get at a later time this year. Not only will that cause wear and tear on my car, but money for gas and basically my time. I'm very disappointed in this hotel and would not recommend it to anyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Overall, a nice place, but OMG that carpet-"
This was a nicely laid out and fairly well-kept hotel, but we had a "Pet" suite, and the carpet was disgusting... it looked like somebody had rebuilt a transmission on the floor. It suited our needs as a base to do the Santa Fe Century bike ride, and I was happy to be able to bring the dog along... Nice staff, too, and decent breakfast... but they've […] got to replace the carpet. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Better the Second Time Around"
The room/suite I had this stay was much nicer, updated, cleaner. Great to have a fridge, range and microwave in unit. No bathtub, but shower was sufficient. My only complaint is that the TV is old school and very limited with cable TV selections--especially for a news junkie like myself.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
