I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was very nicely kept up, the room was great, very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and make check in a breeze. The location was much better than I expected as well, it was right next to the Boise Outlet Mall, which was perfect! My only problem was with the fitness room, which was tiny and consisted only of one weighted machine, a bike, and a treadmill. Other than that though, the hotel was far better than I was expecting!

The plumbing was SO noisey I was awake all night while the pipe THUMPED poudly in the walls. The next morning I POLITELY informed the front desk that there was an issue and that I had gotten no sleep. The desk cleark was rude and said "We've never had a complaint before". Then she said, "Well there is construction going on above." No apology, no kind […] words, just too busy to really talk to me. My weekend was horrible as lack of sleep effected my entire experience, but the worst part of all was the "I couldn't care less" attitude from the hotel employee. NEVER AGAIN will I saty at oe of these horrible hotels. Read more

I wish that the tv would have been a bit newer. It made a high pitched noise when it was on. The location was great. The room was open and clean. It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. The pool area was nice.

For the same amount of money I would had been able to stay at a newer hotel. I spend 10 plus nights a month in a hotel and I have grown accustomed to flat screen TV and shower curtains that are arched. The room was clean it was just in need of an upgrade.

If you have a wife that wants to shop at the mall, this is the place to be. The televisions need to be updated, though. The food prep people were not too accomodating to the people coming into the breakfast buffet at 20 minutes prior to closing time. Overall a good place for the location.

We only stayed overnight. Our check in was very easy and fast. My husband loved the cookies at the front desk. Our room was nice and warm when we got in, other hotels I've stayed at are cold until you turn the heater on yourself. The room was very clean and the bed was nice and comfy. It was non-smoking and did not smell. The room had an iron, ironing […] board and a blow dryer. The blow dryer didn't work but it was not a big deal to me. When I checked out I told the lady at the front desk about it and she said she'd have it repaired that day and thanked me for letting her know about it. In the morning we went down for breakfast the next morning and it was very nice, they had fresh fruit, waffles, eggs, sausage, juices, coffee. It was very nice. The hotel is nicely located by the mall and there are many restaurants all around. It's also not far from a Walmart. There's also a chevron gas station near by. Read more

Family of six stayed for two nights. Fast easy check in with cookies at the front desk. Located in the middle of great shopping and close to freeway. Pool and hot tub were great and I was gratefull that the exercise room had dumbbells and a pulley machine so I could get a real workout. Breakfast was good with nice variety.

We have family in Boise and this hotel is just minutes away from them. We love the pool! Breakfast in the morning is such a plus when we're already spending money to stay somewhere. We stay there enough that this hotel is very much like our home away from home. The only thing we were unhappy with was the smell in our room. It was coming from the bathroom. […] We were there 3 nights & the smell was our companion while we were there. We didn't want to be a bother so didn't report it, our fault, but the room was perfect as far as location. It was on the main floor, close to an exit right by the parking lot. I had a foot injury & it was so nice not to have to go too far to get to our room or our car. The Ameritel Inn was one of the nicest hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had fresh baked cookies every day in the lobby. The breakfast bar was very good with hot and cold foods. The bed was heavenly. The pool and spa were open 24 hours a day so we were able to enjoy them after we got in late every night. I liked everything except the bed was a little hard and was difficult for my girlfriend to sleep on and the fact that the tv was so old. We couldn't hook anything up to it because it didn't have any jacks. The bathroom is a little bit cramped too, but who cares. Staff was awesome!

Easy check-in, comfortable beds, quiet, good location to easily get where you need to. Many great restaurants very close by. Staff was friendly upon working with them.

Pool was very warm and being able to swim with the kids even though you get in late is great! Breakfast was good. Lots of choices! I would most definitely stay there again.

Beds were quite comfortable; rooms were clean; 24 hr access to jacuzzi, pool and physical fitness room. Breakfast was average and became overwhelmed with large groups entering the dining room facilities. Internet took a few restart attempts for establishing final connection.

The room was clean. The carpet in the hallway smelled really bad on the forth floor. Had fun in the pool and spa. Really like that we can use it any time. Breakfast was great.

We have stayed at this hotel many times...for the most part it is very clean and the lady at the front desk is very nice, also the food servers. The one thing that disturbs us is the carpets...which are quite soiled and look pretty dirty, which doesn't give one a good feeling.

The staff os just great here. This was our third visit in 2 years. They have been most gracious in letting family members from in town come visit and use the pool etc. I see them being just as nice to other travellers as well. The location could not be better, very easy access to everything.

We have stayed here on several occasions. The cookies in the lobby in the evening are a welcoming treat. The hotel is always clean and relatively quiet, a peaceful setting yet close to restauraunts and the mall. We travel to Boise to visit grand-kids and having a nice pool to teach them to swim in is important to us. It was a great stay. the service and breakfast was awesome!!! It was close to the mall and many other attractions like roaring springs and the zoo! The only thing was that I would have liked a microwave and refrigerator in my room like many of the other hotels we have stayed at.
