For the price i am paying and the location, i thought it was a gd place to stay i would recommend. There r little incident as far as coffee/tea dispenser was left unclean, but they replaced it right away. It wasnt the hotel's fault but the cleaners they hired to clean the rooms.

The location is very convenient! Being an appartment hotel, there is a living room and bedroom, small kitchen... very need! I loved the fact that you have to use a room key card to gain entrance to the lobby of the hotel. Security is important to me. You also had to use that same key card to use the elevator.

This hotel was […] about a half-mile walk from the train that runs from the Sydney Airport to downtown Sydney and it is about the same distance from the main cruise terminal. It is in the heart of downtown and the Sydney Opera house was also a fairly easy walk for two 64-year old people. The room was quiet, since it is offset from the main streets by about one half block in all directions. The room was large, clean and comfortable, It had a full kitchen and it also a free washer and dryer in the unit, which we appreciated after about 32 hours of traveling from New Hampshire and allowed us to have no dirty clothes for our two-week cruise. Read a lot of the other reviews about this place and they seem dead-on, I will just repeat a few that echoed with us. We had a one bedroom suite, very spacious with a full kitchen. Great access to the rooms and helpful staff, very close to everything in Sydney, we walked straight out of the hotel and everywhere we wanted to visit. Also close to a rail […] line that goes direct to the airport, so that was very convenient. One downer is that the rooms share a rather busy alley with the trash disposal services from the surrounding buildings, so it does get a bit noisy early in the AM. Really convenient for main sites, this hotel allows those who are tired of eating out after a period of travel to self cater and relax in homelike comfort. This would also be great for adults travelling with children.

I must say, our stay was excellent. We have no complaints. Just one suggestion though: perhaps a second lounge chair in the room would be better, as we found ourselves sharing the chair at different times to read. Neighbourhood is excellent with lots of shops and quick access to Martin Place train station.

This is the third time that I have stayed at the Medina. Just a short walk from Martin Place station, and close to Opera House and Circular Quay...and of course right in the heart of shopping. Reasonable charge for stay. Am staying here again in June for a concert. Naturally it is surrounded by other buildings so you have no view....but that wasn't' […] an issue for me. Rooms are spotless. Perfect as a four-day base, and good value. The staff, well led by Natalie in her boss's absence, were exemplary and so helpful. One tiny point - the control of the shower water temperature was difficult - but overall I would definitely stay there again.

A strong damp smell overwhelmed us as we opened the door to our room - definately needed loads of fresh air in there!! Otherwise, the room was comfortable. Good value for money (if you can get a deal) Neighborhood not at all pleasant however location to the Quay/CBD and transport was what it was all about for us.

Other than small issues with the free wifi not being avaiable for apart of our stay, this was a very good reasonably priced hotel. Our room was clean, ample size, without balcony (although are available with some rooms), there are absolutely no city views to be had from any of the rooms. We stayed on level 7 so was v quiet, there is an office block […] opposite which is inhabited during working hours but as our stay was at weekend being overlooked was not an issue. Centrally situated in CBD and within walking distance of Darling Harbour, Central Quay, the Rocks, the Botanical Gardens and the Domain. Staff were all very helpful and the rooms/apartment to a good specification with ample sized kitchen area. Although it is tucked away down a quiet side street off the main north/south thoroughfares it is not too difficult to find and is within a 5 minute walk of either Wynyard (which is a closer walk of the 2 stations but through alleyways) or St James CityRail stations and hence the Airport Link services. Would recommend to other travellers who require a good clean mid range apartment hotel which is close to all the sights. Read more

Overall the experience is good and would like to stay there again. Location is huge plus for this apartment. All the key city attactions are almost walking distance. We thought the absense of the parking facility is a major drawback and things like bathroom accesories need to be upgraded.

A very comfortable apartment in a central location. Not great views - the only windows looked onto back alley rubbish bins and goods entrances so the balcony and bistro table wasn't really an option! Staff were very helpful and welcoming. A great choice for families.

The Medina Classic was a great little find in a perfect location for the purpose of our trip. Upon arrival the staff were immediately attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for our baby.
